Asana gets everything done without a lot of hassle. Pros I like how how easy it is to manage the projects and sprints. Cons It gets a bit confusing with finding files. Cons The cost to get the features I wanted. You have to purchase a minimum of 2 users but I am a solopreneur and only needed one. I really wanted to use portfolios, reports and goals but the cost just wasn’t worth it to me. I switched to another project management system that had all the features I wanted (and more) for a much lower price. Pros I like Asana's user friendly UX and overall structure. It just makes sense and is easy to use. I love that the free account has all that you need for individual use without pushing you to upgrade all the time. It's flexible in the way you can structure and present your data and that's important for different projects and people. It was very important to have Asana shared with the whole team so the everyone was very transparent about your task list. It gives very good visibility to a project manager. Pros Asana is a great tool for teams to record daily tasks and make complex to-do lists. It allows individual team members to create their own personal to-do lists and divide them up into different categories. Like 'Important' or 'coming up next'. It also allows people to collaborate on tasks on the to do list and create sub tasks as well. It allows the administrator to have a look at their teams lists on a central page and move them along to 'currently on going' or 'completed'. There is also very clear view of the backlog to do lists, which makes it easy for people to see the quantum of work left over and the progress the team has made. Additionally each task can have a date of completion and many more details. Cons The project management timeline on asana is not very easy to use or clear. The interface is a little bit clunky. It was mostly effective, but its lack of a couple key features was a major downside. Pros It was a very simple to use and well integrated product. I can see why it would be intuitive, especially for those with experience with similar products. Cons Unlike some of its competitors, Asana doesn't have a time-tracking feature.
