November 13, 2025 5.0 Asana is an easy system that streamlined our processes so that we can focus more on the people side of our job. I would recommend Asana to any team that shares responsibilities. Pros Our HR department consists of two people and while we both have our own individual jobs there are some "tasks" that either of us can do. ASANA has helped us by creating templates for each project that we have and we can both go in and complete the tasks and mark the items off the list. It changed the way that we do HR. Cons To be honest, the system is easy to use. I have only had to contact customer support once for assistance and they were able to get me the answer that I needed without losing the information that I was afraid I had deleted. Asana has also helped our team to visualize project reporting in a more effective way. Pros Asana helps our teams track project progress cross-departmentally. This the implementation of Asana, we have streamlined our creative project management with visual representations that are easily consumed by any level of management. Cons The learning curve for Asana is pretty steep to reap the full benefit of its features and can have some limitations in the lower tiers. If you are looking for software that you need to do projects in a nice way, i woul recommend you to start using Asana. Pros Asana replaces clunky spreadsheets and endless email threads with a clear, visual system. It is the best in the market for project and task tracking. I find Asana easy to use and with amazing customer support. Cons To be honest i just don't have any issues with the software at all. I will just echo on the learning curve that all. It is a bit hard. The complexity did slow down some of our team and processes though. Pros Asana does a great job of helping a team stay on track with multiple projects and multiple workflows. When we used it, it eliminated the need for scattered spreadsheets and tracking documents and helped us create a central project management hub. Cons The learning curve was a bit steep for some of our team members and some of the automations and advanced features took quite a bit of time to lock in. Pros Asana is my favourite programme for project management, particularly if its content related such as social media planning or content strategy. It's super easy to use, has all the features you need for tracking tasks and projects with collaborative teams, and has great value for money. It's also really easy to use - normally only requires an hours' training for tech-literate colleagues. Cons No instant reporting as far as I know. Pros I love that I can keep up with each individual job on Asana when sent to us thru a property management co that we work with often. I can also go back & easily search the address to find other repairs done at same location and bring back photos & information easily. I enjoy looking at the reporting page where it shows the number of completed tasks. It is helpful to look at on a large scale. This platform is great to keep your team and tasks organized. Pros I like most that it keeps me organized. Out of 1 to 10 I would rate the ease of use a 7. Being able to view the team's tasks and what still needs to be done adds so much value for the money. Cons It can get a little wonky if you do not mark off each sub task before you mark off the full main task. I created multiple projects and under each project I had a series of tasks, statuses, and comments. It was very easy to track and manage my workload and I could see quickly what the status was of any given task. Made my job much easier! Pros Easy to use; even with the free version there was a decent amount of customization that I could to to the product Cons There was a LOT to the product - much of which I had no need for, but that is not a shortcoming of the software. Pros I like that tasks, deadlines and who is responsible is very visible so that I can keep a pulse on client's progress and not let anything fall through the cracks. Cons Some of its more advanced features are not as easy to set up as you might expect, and customer support communication also can be sluggish when it comes to workflow questions. However, certain aspects of Asana are not the easiest to comprehend and the tutorials/learning courses don't always offer the easiest path to comprehend all of Asana's functionalities. Pros Asana is very interactive - which is excellent for a small/mid-size company where most workers are remote. It also combines well with other tools, including Gmail, Google Docs, and Harvest. It is an essential element of how we do work. Our team can organize tasks, communicate with each other about the status of tasks, and ask questions in a forum that optimizes productivity. I highly recommend Asana. Cons Asana can have its navigational challenges. There are a lot of aspects of Asana that take time and effort to learn. These components are not always intuitive. Asana's tutorial/learning courses are not always the most helpful. In fact, I've struggled to understand concepts and not been able to fully engage with every facet of Asana as a result. Cons I don't have anything I dislike about Asana yet. I have not ran into any snags. I use it less administratively than some of our team. But, from the sales/fundraiser role perspective, I have no qualms!
