### "Asana Does Everything On Its Own"

June 3, 2026

5.0

If you prefer a kanban board style of project management, there is an option for this type of feature.

Pros

When I am using sprints with my development team I thought once I completed adding tasks to Task List I wouldn't be able to continue to utilize the tool; however, I was wrong about this and Asana still does its job. Creating due dates in asana is a simple process and Asana works very nicely with google calendar.

Cons

That being said sometimes I find myself overwhelmed by multiple projects displayed on the dashboard (or it can feel torturous) or, simply put, just too many unneeded buttons.

### "Berklee College of Music"

4.0

Pros

Task assignment is crystal clear, and being able to add subtasks, attachments, and discussions directly within a card prevents information from getting scattered. Custom automations also save me precious time on a daily basis.

Cons

The platform's richness is a double-edged sword. The learning curve is quite steep for new team members, who sometimes feel overwhelmed by the number of buttons and options available. Additionally, the application has become increasingly restrictive in its free version, and upgrading to paid plans represents a fairly heavy monthly investment for small organizations.

### "The platform that was the organisational backbone of my department!"

November 5, 2025

5.0

Asana is an excellent tool and the one my whole team worked from, acting as a central project management tool. Asana provides a great return of investment as it is good value for money and the customer support and account management support we received were first rate.

Pros

Asana was our go to tool for project tracking and programme management. Asana combined many customisable, ease of use features, such as dragging and dropping various project attributes, that allowed me to manage my department and their projects and tasks tracking progress regularly.

Cons

It is not something that I disliked about the Asana, but it is important to cite that Asana is not a replacement for Microsoft Project as a detailed project management tool, but has its own GUI based features which make it ideal for fast pace environments.

### "Asana makes it easy to manage projects by keeping everything and everyone consolidated."

July 7, 2025

5.0

Managing our projects with Asana has really paid off and we have really benefited from streamlined project operations. Asana has an incredible collaboration platform that help us to keep everyone working together during the projects. With Asana, we are able to plan our work during projects to ensure smooth flow of activities.

Pros

Asana has a great collaboration platform that help our to bring together people from all departments allowing us to work together on our projects. Asana offers project management functions that help us to organize and strategize our work plans allowing us to streamline our project tasks. Asana has project dashboards, analytics and reporting features which gives us an easy experience following up on the current status and progress of our projects.

Cons

After working with Asana, we have not found anything that does not satisfy our needs the best way. We have not discovered any dislikes.

### "The Ultimate Antidote to "Wait, who was supposed to do that?""

June 21, 2026

4.0

Asana took our team from chaotic, frantic emails and messy spreadsheets to a structured, transparent workflow. There is a bit of a learning curve to get everyone onboard and disciplined about updating their tasks, but once you get past that hump, it’s a lifesaver. It keeps everyone accountable and ensures nothing slips through the cracks.

Pros

The best part about Asana is how it completely destroys the need for endless status-update meetings. Instead of asking someone for the third time if a graphic is ready, you just look at the board. The UI is incredibly clean, and hitting a deadline and watching a mythical creature fly across your screen to celebrate your tiny victory is oddly the most satisfying part of my workday. The customization with custom fields lets us track projects exactly how our brains actually work, not how a template tells us to.

Cons

It can occasionally feel like a full-time job just managing the project management tool. If your team doesn't have strict rules on how to use it, you can easily end up drowning in a sea of overlapping tasks and notifications. Also, the transition between the list view and the timeline view can sometimes feel a bit clunky if you’re managing massive, multi-phase projects with tons of dependencies.

### "An Essential Task Management Tool!"

November 6, 2025

5.0

Asana is used by our marketing and communications team daily. Each project is laid out, scheduled, and assigned to the appropriate team members. This allows everyone involved to stay on task, easily communicate needs and edits, and deliver a high quality product effectively. Asana is an essential task management tool!

Pros

Asana is a great platform for working as a team and tracking projects together. I love the ability to set due dates and work toward those goals, to assign tasks to the appropriate team member, and to communicate within the platform.

Cons

Asana is a wonderful and effective tool, but if you are not tech savvy, there can be difficulties using it to its full potential.

### "Couldn't live without it."

March 2, 2026

5.0

Asana is the perfect tool for my task and project management - I couldn't live without it! I even use it to manage both my business tasks and my personal life and resources too. It's a fantastic platform.

Pros

The free plan does more than enough for me and it's got all of the basic, but important, features. It's extremely easy to use, intuitive and makes managing my tasks and projects incredibly easy.

Cons

Pricing may be a little much in order to access the few features that would be nice to have, although the free plan does everything I need it to.

### "Helpful features and a great way to stay organized"

April 30, 2026

4.0

I have had a positive experience with Asana. I enjoy looking at the reporting page where it shows the number of completed tasks. It is helpful to look at on a large scale. This platform is great to keep your team and tasks organized.

Pros

I like most that it keeps me organized. Out of 1 to 10 I would rate the ease of use a 7. Being able to view the team's tasks and what still needs to be done adds so much value for the money.

Cons

It can get a little wonky if you do not mark off each sub task before you mark off the full main task.

I prefer to use Asana for jobs from a property management company we work with often as it is easy to sort thru jobs that are open & closed and status of each.

Pros

I love that I can keep up with each individual job on Asana when sent to us thru a property management co that we work with often. I can also go back & easily search the address to find other repairs done at same location and bring back photos & information easily.

Cons

It has some quirks at times but overall the system works as it should from what I have seen the last several years.

### "Good for daily task management"

July 5, 2026

4.0

Asana has been a solid tool for managing our team's projects and daily tasks. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to track progress, assign responsibilities, and keep everyone on the same page. While there's a slight learning curve for some advanced features, overall it significantly boosts our team's productivity and organization.

Pros

It's pretty good for keeping our team's tasks organised. I like how we can break down bigger projects into smaller, manageable steps and assign them. The ability to set due dates and see everyone's workload is really helpful for day-to-day planning.

Cons

Honestly, the sheer number of notification options can be a bit overwhelming at first. Sometimes I feel like I'm just wading through alerts for minor updates, and figuring out the right settings took a bit to get sorted.

### "Love this Project Management Center!"

June 10, 2025

5.0

Asana helps myself, my team, and my company to stay organized. We use Asana for a variety of things, one of the main use cases is our Product and Development Team using Asana for project management and idea submissions.

Pros

This is a great resource to keep all of our internal project in one place. Allows for cross department collaboration. I use a project for our Support team meetings and find it super organize and helpful.

Cons

The only thing I dislike about asana is that without getting a paid version on a higher plan you are limited on some of the features you have available.

### "An preferable tool for project management."

October 18, 2025

4.0

It’s very convenient to create tasks that are part of a project as well as tasks that are completely individual. Collaborating on tasks is easy, and being able to set due date ranges helps team members know in advance when things need to be finished. I highly recommend Asana. It’s easy to use and doesn’t require any technical knowledge.

Pros

It is somewhat limiting that a task can only be assigned to a single individual. While others can be added as “collaborators” by tagging their @name in the comments, I noticed this only after realizing that I wanted both people to review a document without creating separate tasks for each of them.

Cons

I really like the color scheme, the intuitive user interface, and the smooth performance. The mobile apps for individual use are excellent, and the platform is very beginner-friendly. That’s why I prefer it. I will definitely recommend this software to my agent. I’ve also already encouraged my friends and family to try Asana, and many of them are very satisfied, providing me with positive feedback. Additionally, the connectivity is seamless and reliable.

### "Helpful for Breaking Down Big Projects into Bite-Sized Components "

June 13, 2025

5.0

Overall a helpful organizational tool especially for writing down exactly "what needs to get done" for every component of a project and its execution, and you are able to update all those involved in a separate place instead of having to remember to update others in an email or meeting (which is totally doable, it's just nice to have a dedicated space for these kinds of things).

Pros

It is very clean and easy to use, especially intuitive considering how I was able to get started with adding details to projects, adding tasks, and looping people in. I appreciate that I and my team can add comments to our projects, give status updates, and assign different responsibilities to each other. Some tasks can even be created so that another needs to be done or completed in order for another to activate and start reminding you about it. I compeleted the training provided by Asana about best tips and practices and it opened up my eyes a lot more to just how many organizational features it offers. Since our org and my job works around a calendar year cycle, it's helpful to look back to previous cycles, deadlines, and things done to get a better sense of what is needed the next time.

Cons

I know there are many features that I have not dived into quite yet, and I believe my team uses many of the surface level components only (deadlines, goals, completion, projects, sharing responsibilities). I also wish there would be more collaborative assignments for tasks. I'm not sure if this is an issue on only my end, but I get signed out and have to update my Asana quite often.

### "Powerful tool with a learning curve that is too steep for some team members"

January 22, 2026

5.0

Overall, once it was optimized, our team definitely saw an increase in efficiency by using Asana. The complexity did slow down some of our team and processes though.

Pros

Asana does a great job of helping a team stay on track with multiple projects and multiple workflows. When we used it, it eliminated the need for scattered spreadsheets and tracking documents and helped us create a central project management hub.

Cons

The learning curve was a bit steep for some of our team members and some of the automations and advanced features took quite a bit of time to lock in.

### "Excellent Project Management Tool - Great for Team Collaboration and Organization"

August 8, 2025

4.0

Pros

The visual project organization and intuitive interface - I love how easy it is to see what everyone on my team is working on at a glance. The multiple view options (list, board, timeline, calendar) make it simple to track progress and stay organized. The collaboration features are excellent - being able to comment directly on tasks, tag teammates, and attach files keeps everything centralized. The integration with other tools like Gmail, Google Drive, and Slack saves tons of time.

Cons

The learning curve can be steep - some features aren't immediately obvious and take time to master. The pricing gets expensive when scaling up team members. Email notifications can be overwhelming and cluttered my inbox until I adjusted the settings. The mobile app doesn't have all the functionality of the web version, like copying tasks between projects.

### "Streamlines HR tasks so that you can focus on the people part of the job."

November 13, 2025

5.0

Asana is an easy system that streamlined our processes so that we can focus more on the people side of our job. I would recommend Asana to any team that shares responsibilities.

Pros

Our HR department consists of two people and while we both have our own individual jobs there are some "tasks" that either of us can do. ASANA has helped us by creating templates for each project that we have and we can both go in and complete the tasks and mark the items off the list. It changed the way that we do HR.

Cons

To be honest, the system is easy to use. I have only had to contact customer support once for assistance and they were able to get me the answer that I needed without losing the information that I was afraid I had deleted.

### "Good task visibility for case based work."

January 8, 2026

5.0

I can't say enough about how Asana has brought order to our visa cases by managing deadlines, sharing tasks across the consulting team and otherwise helping me keep structure around complex client work without depending on a web of sticky notes or digital reminders.

Pros

I like that tasks, deadlines and who is responsible is very visible so that I can keep a pulse on client's progress and not let anything fall through the cracks.

Cons

Some of its more advanced features are not as easy to set up as you might expect, and customer support communication also can be sluggish when it comes to workflow questions.

### "Asana review "

March 16, 2026

Good. It helped me to review my teams tasks and manage my own once I was used to the interface and ways of working my agency had at the time.

Pros

The platform gives clear visibility of work and has flexible project views. It’s fairly easy to use and also integrates well with other tools like Teams, Slack etc.

Cons

Can become complex and quite noisy if strong foundations are not put in place. Costs can grow if more complex features are needed.
