Having to assign task and monitor the progress across all my projects at the same time is a great experience for me. I also like the fact that I can integrate other apps especially my google workspace because it makes it very easy to share and protect documents. There is also the feature that you can use colours and make your task status and dashboard look very nice and easy to identify each project. Pros I like the fact that I can monitor and assign task easily. I also like the way the dashboards are created. It just makes working very easy. It can become complex when building larger projects, maintaining everything can become a challenge. It especially helps me to view overlaps and avoid last minute conflicts when it comes to event planning. Pros I love the customizability of tasklists and unique filter views. For example, i can create my own custom views for very specific criteria around tasks i'd like to see. "What tasks are being held up but are due end of week?". Also, the calendar views are a game changer. Cons The time tracking integrations are really buggy and don't always work. I think a major limitation is it's native integrations with other applications and Zapier. Specifically triggering automations based on certain events and your ability to update task lists accordingly. I think adding more automation workflows would be helpful. I not only keep my personal tasks organized with Asana, I can also see my teammate's progress and comments about various stages of a task or project. Cons I wish I could add more members to my account without having to upgrade. Pros It's an organization tool that does just about the same stuff as any other project management tool. Cons I signed up for the premium account. TWICE, they changed my account to have more seats than what I purchased. The first time, they told me they would make up for it by giving me several months free. We changed my account back to the two-seat minimum, and I thought things would be fine. But then they changed my account back to five seats without any notice and overcharged me again. Instead of paying around $22, I was charged $74. Again, they refused to refund any money even though they are the ones who changed my account. Since then, I have found out that this is a common practice. I actually got lucky in that I was only charged for three extra seats instead of five or 15! Review Source AK Arshpreet K.
