It is extremely user friendly and has literally changed my life and the effectiveness of the organisation. Pros Asana is a company of high social integrity. We tried many project management projects, but only Asana is properly compliant in regards to usability for our vision impaired team members. Where other organisations just ignore you, Asana has gone above and beyond. When there was a small issue with proper labeling of a button, this was treated with priiority and promptly resolved. Furthermore, Asana supports our nonprofit with a generous discount Cons I love it throughout! I seriously cannot think of anything negative... except maybe that they charge for AI as an add-on, which feels a bit dated. Pros Asanas time-tracking is okay (I think) I would've expected it to fail by now with all our client projects in there but its holding strong. Now that it does track time, my team logs their hours. Seriously, I'm just happy I've no longer gotta take an hour compiling stupid Status Updates and such. Cons It seems like there are too many menus to go through to get one simple Shopify Product Description. The Built-in Timer is a pain... I literally spend 50% of my mornings going back & forth between "My Work" & the Inbox looking for where they've hidden the Assets again and if you forget to turn OFF the Timer, it screws up the entire Report. Pros I use Asana for Podcast project scheduling. The Ease of use between sharing information with a colleague of mine is an absolute must have. Its task tracking ability helps me maintain a timeframe that works with my already existing daily schedule. I manage multiple projects at a time with overlap so having those separated helps me finish all the details in time. For features, I leave off weekends as this is just for work purposes. I haven't needed customer support but I bet they are easy to contact if the need presents itself. I like the plan I'm on and don't feel the need to upgrade. I use the free personal plan and its worth it. Bigger organizations could benefit from a starter plan for 10.99 or an advanced plan for 24.99 a month. Cons I'm visually impaired and I find some aspects of the layout to be small and when adjusted it doesn't flow well with the information on the page. Cons The biggest problem with Asana is that you have to pay more for higher-tier plans to get to the more advanced features. This can be expensive for big teams. Reporting and automation can be helpful, but they can also feel limited compared to more specialized tools. Managing very complex projects with a lot of dependencies can also be hard at times. January 3, 2026 3.0 For the organisations I have worked within I have always recommended Asana within smaller organisations and enterprises to get projects started faster as onboarding is relatively easy and the customer support is exceptional in the initial stages with both technical and non technical queries but I have felt that it's not quite ready to take on the workload of larger enterprises. Pros I think with Asana it has a good user experience and makes it quite easy to use. The features are helpful and powerful for some very certain tasks. Relatively speaking it is quite well priced and the prices are effectively tiered Cons I feel with Asana some of there features don't go the extra mile and thus I find that it's an ideal software for a certain type of organisation or a certain size. It will work really well for small and medium organisations but for larger enterprises the product may not be entirely suitable. My three site managers use it every single day, that says more than any feature list ever could. I’d recommend it to other small mining outfits who need to stay on top of things without having to hire extra office staff. Pros Running a small mining operation means you’ve got to track equipment maintenance, supplier contracts, and export documentation with zero room for error. Asana actually keeps all of that stuff visible in one place. When our auditor asked for six months of maintenance records last November, I managed to pull everything in about twenty minutes, it was a huge relief. Tasks just don't get lost between me and the crew anymore. Cons The mobile app can be a bit slow to load when I'm out at the quarry site and the signal is patchy. It’s not a huge deal, but I’ve just gotten into the habit of checking everything before I head out from the office. Pros I am able to dump all of the freelancer's tasks into Asana and add 50 sub-tasks, amazingly enough, it did not crash yesterday. The custom workflows are decent. Asana does a great job of holding everything related to the clinic and projects together which is really nice. Cons On extremely busy days the clutter from tags and timelines make my eyes hurt viewing Asana. I also hate having to leave an active but "closed" task open just to be able to share some very simple business guidelines with the staff.
