Cons

### "FAILED PAYMENTS NO RESPONSE from SUPPORT TEAM/NOT RECEIVING FUNDS BACK"

Pros

This is an easy feature included with our accounting software. It's a great feature unless you actually need support which is where it becomes a nightmare.

Cons

Since the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], we have been promised a return of funds for failed payments to a vendor. As of the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], no funds have been received. In addition, I emailed 6 (SIX) executives twice imploring their assistance and no one has yet to respond. We have filed a complaint with the BBB as well since they have technically withheld funds since November. I would highly recommend to stay away from this service until they can improve their customer support team and process.

### "Non Responsive Support "

We reported a very serious fraudulent activity over a week ago, since this time I have been trying to get someone associated with Melio to contact us in order to share additional information concerning this case. Trying to reach someone within the Melio organization is a joke, I am extremely frustrated by the lack response when it comes to urgent matters. For this reason only, I would NEVER recommend anyone to use Melio. It is fine until a situation arises then you are absolutely 100% on your own. A simple call or a follow-up email from a live person versus automated responses would go a long way.

Pros

The product is easy to use, however customer support is NON-EXISTENT. There is NO WAY to reach an actual person, either via phone or "Live Chat". So far my experience with Meilo 's customer support has been absolutely horrible.

Cons

Customer Service/Support Team is unreachable & non responsive

### "Don't do it!! "

Horrible, terrible, awful.

Pros

Absolutely nothing was easy or good with this experience. I just want my money back!!

Cons

Melio has had our money for several weeks after a failed payment. I have tried and tried and tried to contact them, but apparently no one works there - and definately, no one at Melio cares at all about their customer. We have asked for our money back and we are being totally ignored.

Pros

I have multiple cards and bank accounts for my business. I always faced the problem to manage and pay my vendors from a single platform. Using Melio I can use my preferred way to pay vendors and manage all transactions from a single place. The UI and simplicity of the product are amazing so I always preferred to make payments using Melio.

Cons

I like the simplicity of the product. It's very simple and easy to use and pay vendors through the Melio platform.

Overall, I am satisfied with this Software and I will surely recommend to use Melio for payment purposes. It really saves a lot of time.

Pros

Melio has easy & simple Interface which helped me to easily understand and navigate through the software. I have mainly used for payment processing and payment accounting. It really helped me alot in overcoming my payment issues & challenges.

Cons

One thing that I didn't like was the price at which it is available. I think it is expensive for small businesses. Other than that, it was really Helpful for me.

### "Painless payments for painful payees"

Excellent

Pros

I was able to set up payments to the very few vendors that absolutely demand being paid via ACH rather than needing to consolidate my business transactions through a software suite to make it worthwhile. It is also incredibly affordable or free for the transactions, and there has not been problems.

Cons

There was a feature that was pretty adept at picking up an invoice PDF and setting it up as a pending bill, but the accuracy has gone down. Nothing to cry about though as I have always triple checked things!

### "Best way to pay vendors- bar none"

Easy to implement, and support is great!

Pros

The full integration with in QuickBooks online makes this an easy choice for streamlined and efficient processes.

Cons

It is difficult to know exactly when a vendor will receive a payment. Should be two days but sometimes has been five days. Especially in the beginning of using the software.

### "Good for Small Volume Payment Processing "

Overall, Melio has provided a great solution for our business to be able to easily send ACH payments to our vendors. This holds the highest value in their product for us. However, time to deploy new features is often far overdue, and leave the platform feeling lacking most of the time.

Pros

Easy setup and deployment, connection with external accounting system began easily.

Cons

Does not provide a great solution for medium-sized operations that need to batch out large quantities of payments or sorting and balancing this data.

Generally, Melio makes paying vendors fairly easy.

Pros

Pros: the auto-upload of the invoices, the multiple payment options, the fact that vendors can enter their own payment option (though just limited to the US)

Cons

Melio claims to make international countries to all the countries on its list; however, that is not true. Melio cannot make payments to Guyana, which is unfortunate as our organization has vendors in that country. Also, if the choice to enter payment information could expand to include international vendors, that would be great. One more thing, I tried to sync my account with my new QB account and it is not working.

### "Best credit card processor"

Melio enabled us to access more vendors.

Pros

Melio offers a service that to the best of my knowledge no one else does. It enables payment using a credit card to vendors that do NOT accept credit card payment. Melio processes the credit card and then sends the payment to the vendor by ACH. Their rates are competitive, and they are often less than fees some vendors surcharge for credit payments.

Cons

We currently use software that does not integrate with Melio

Best invoicing system I have used! LOVE

Pros

I LOVE that I can pass the processing fees off to my customer, or allow them to utilize ACH. This keeps more of my dollars in my pocket. I also love the ease of invoicing! You cannot get better than this!

Cons

Sometimes a payment will fail due to technical issues. But it has been rare.

### "Melio a Falling Star"

Melio used to be the best thing, however they have started having issues with NOT submitting payments to vendors after scheduled and refuse to say why "except for compliance reasons". If they feel there are compliance issues they should reach out immediately and NOT confirm a payment has been scheduled, its embarrassing and not all vendors can wait for two weeks to have them do the review for a payment after confirmation has been received ( not to mention payments to these vendors have been active for MANY MONTHS!

### "Pretty sure company is a scam"

Horrible. We have spent countless hours tring to get our money back from Melio and are now forced to work with the BBB, the FBI and FTC.

Pros

Nothing. Major scam. Our money was stolen from us and melio refuses to return it. They are not giving any proof the funds were delivered (any bank can easily provide a tracer for international wire transfers) but for a month Melio just keeps promising to provide a tracer but does not.

Cons

Money was stolen and keep getting the runaround. Melio will not provide any proof funds were delivered or return our money. Contacted over 15 times with the same response "we will get back to you via email" but never get back to us for over a month now.

Melio is easy to use, and very reliable. I've had no issues since I started using it.

Pros

I love Melio, because I can pay my vendors via ACH payment for free. If the vendors choose, they can pay more money to expedite the payment as well, which is great for them, and probably for Melio too.

Cons

Doesn't sync with Quickbooks check payments to vendors.

### "Good System - Needs some tweaks"

I have onboarded 2 clients. The first one went well. The second one did not. We had to verify the bank account the deposits did not come through. I kept getting different answers from customer service. Sometimes saying they had gone out, and sometimes saying they had not gone out yet. Back and forth. I think it took about 10 days for them to finally send them out. I still don't know why.

Pros

Very inexpensive way to send ACH payments. ACH is free. Paying with a CC is not, but that's not surprising. Ability to sync bills/payments to/from Quickbooks Online.

Cons

All payments/bills have to be paid one at a time even if it's the same vendor. Need a way to pay more than one at once to be more efficient. No good reports to see what payments have been sent out.
