Cons

The payment dates of 3 days is a little longer than I would need.

### "A great option for small to medium businesses"

Pros

Making online payments with Melio is fast and easy, and it’s much easier (and cheaper!) to get started compared to using a bank or more complex service.

Cons

I wish I had found out about this sooner so we could’ve used it for vendors that we had to add to our antiquated Wells Fargo system.

Pros

I love using Melio because it allows me to easily pay bills to my clients. The check is cut as soon as the same day and they keep me updated about the tracking and status. The fees are very low compared to the alternatives out there so its great for startups and growing companies trying to keep their costs down.

Cons

Nothing really, it does what is promises and I enjoy using it. My clients report good feedback as well.

### "These people are a fraud; checks to our vendors have bounced multiple times"

Can't get customer service to answer during their business hours; they answer that they are closed.

Pros

none nada nothing at all They bounce their checks, they don't answer service phones and won't take care of their issues; they were very efficient in taking our money (theft) and charging for the privilege

Cons

Expensive fees for Melio's bounced checks (Melio's checks bounced at our vendors who were paid).

### "Extremely easy way to collect payments and invoice customers"

Pros

We loved Melio's ability to automatically "read" PDF invoices and import the data into the system. It made it very easy to quickly send a copy of the invoice and a payment link to our customers and to offer them a quick way to pay.

Cons

Not sure if Melio has this or not, but it would be nice to have a more robust integration with Quickbooks.

It's been great since I switched from a very bad experience.

Pros

The system is very easy to navigate and use. Help is accessible and everything on the site is well explained.

Cons

Right now the system has all the features that I need. It would be great if I could use it for personal.

Pros

I think that it syncs seamlessly with quickbooks and it gives us multiple options of how to pay our vendors.

Cons

We can't do stop payments on our own or change payment method. While your customer support is amazing, I'd like do somethings on my own.

### "customer support is terrible"

customer SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE. THE CONTACT NUMBER THAT QB GIVES OUT IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE HAVE HELD FOR A CSR FOR OVER 30 MINUTES. IS TERRIBLE SERVICE DUE TO USING FREE PRODUCT?????

I wish it was more detailed in setting up approvals process for employees.

I really am happy with my experience paying a vendor who only accepted a wire transfer with my credit card CS using my checking account.

Pros

How easy it is to use! And an alternative way to pay!

Cons

The verification process was a bit challenging. There’s a wait time to get support to respond to emails and it’s not instant help.

Shocking!!! Just a waste of my time attempting to get anywhere. I am very angry that they seem to think I am a Rhodes Scholar to understand their sites.

Pros

I liked nothing at all. Badly designed sites, too difficult to navigate. Chat people have no product knowledge. Emoyed time wasters.

Cons

They are a wasted space. I would hate to have shares in this company.

Fantastic! It's easy to implement, easy to use, and easy for my clients to use.

Pros

Melio provides an easy-to-use format for invoicing and bill payment, as well as receiving payment from clients, customers, and vendors.

Cons

At first, there didn't seem to be a way to track past paid invoices, but now there is a record for all invoices paid by my company and paid to our company, so it's great.

After a check has been written and cleared Melio's account, I wish a copy of the check could be posted to the payment for ease of access.

Melio has an excellent customer support and resolves any issues quickly.

Pros

We choose this product since it seamlessly integrates with our accounting software. It also allows us to send paper checks without the hassle of printing and mailing them.

Cons

There is nothing really to dislike about the software with how our company is using it right now. I do hope for a much better interface and a more informative dashboard in the future.

### "Terrible experience signing up and no response from customer service"

I tried to sign up with Melio to process business payments, and went through the entire process of providing all my business information (enough to be very dangerous). I received a confirmation email that everything was complete, and I just had to verify the 2 deposits in my bank account. Then I waited, and waited, and the deposits never came. I contacted customer service by email and they wrote back a vague email about not being able to verify my account. I inquired further, and they stopped replying. 5 emails later I found a phone number to call, and the customer service rep told me they were aware of the issue and would resend the 2 deposits. Again I waited, and waited - no deposits. I called customer service AGAIN and this time I was told that I needed to contact their compliance department, and the only way to do that was by email. He could not help me whatsoever. So I emailed the compliance department, doubting I would get a reply. No reply - it's been 5 days and 2 emails later I still haven't heard back. What a terrible experience, no explanation as to what is going on, no one could give me any information, and I didn't get any reply to my emails. I don't know how they are still in business with customer service this terrible.

Pros

User-friendly platform, you can decide to approve or not the payments, which makes a great team work environment, and also allows you to just have bills already approved, if you want to give someone more independence, in any case, that works great!

Cons

Sometimes we need more support like a call, not an email, but they replay fast, but I like more having or a live chat or a call instead of waiting.

### "Simple & easy ACH payment processing for small businesses"

Pros

We struggled for years to find a solution for sending ACH payments to vendors without involving our local bank or complicated online systems, and Melio makes things so easy. The drag & drop invoice functionality works great 99% of the time, and they make it super easy to set up recurring payments as well.

Cons

I'm sure there are other functions we may not use that might not be what we're looking for, but the ACH payment processing, the bill scheduling and recurring payment setup is all stellar, so no real complaints with the functions we actually use.

When you have a business it usually comes with a lot of bills to pay that that can become messy. Melio makes it easy to keep all of your bill payments in one place, know when each payment is due and take care of it automatically for you so that your services aren't interrupted. Really great solution that is super easy to use!

\- Reduce waiting times for customer payments (via check) to arrive - Cash flow leverage - I can use a credit card to pay my bills - Take advantage of credit card reward programs while paying bills - No need for us to charge customers for credit card processing fees

Pros

\- I can use any payment method (all major credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts) to pay my bills - Easy ACH payment implementation for paying bills - I can receive payments from customers quickly, relieving them of the need to mail checks and providing various options to pay me

\- it seems that many features are still in development and not necessarily thought over yet - communication about incoming payments and their status needs to be more transparent
