It is very easy to set up and the vendors can enter their own data which both saves us time and is safe for them. We also like it as we don't have to mail paper checks. Pros It is easy to set up payments and setup different vendors. Recently, you are able to connect with quickbooks directly, this is a awesome feature Cons not able to create extensive reports. Also I would like a feature where you can create multiple payments for same vendor and pay at once and still keep them as separate payments. Cons The only issue I have had is that when I first set up a automatic payment process it took two payments out the first week other than that it has been super easy to work with. Wish it had a little more functionality but for the price you can’t go wrong. I’m hoping in the future they can add some of the things it’s missing. Pros How easy it is to set up and use. I like that it has the AP and the AR piece to it. Also can’t beat the price! Cons That it doesn’t integrate with QuickBooks Desktop and that it’s only B2B. Also wish it had a mobile app that you could snap pictures of bills fast instead of one by one. My clients end up sending me all the bills because it’s not easy or fast for them to snap pictures and get them into the software. You can quickly upload and create bills and schedule payments for whenever they are due. when you send transfers via your business debit card, they arrive to your vendors NEXT DAY! It's super easy and actually fun to use. They also have the ability to pay your vendors via credit card, so they charge your card and deliver the funds to your vendor's bank account for a small fee. It really helps us keep up with cash flow, plus the 2% back from the credit card makes the fee almost non existent. And with the direct connection to Quickbooks Online, its super easy to sync all your vendors, bills and payments, making Melio a perfect bill management application. We'd recommend it to everyone. Pros \- Free to use - Free to send bank transfers - Low cost to send bank transfers by charging a credit card - Perfect bill management application - Gorgeous and responsive UI - Syncs directly with Quickbooks - Quick and responsive support staff Cons No ability to pay international vendors via credit card transactions, but no one does that so not really a loss. Pros The best part of this software is the ability to send large payments for real estate transactions that would otherwise require costly, time-consuming paper checks. Melio increases my business's credibility and speed, which brings satisfaction to my clients. Cons Melio would improve with more marketing. Few of my clients are aware of it, which occasionally leads to doubts of its legitimacy. May 2, 2023 5.0 I've been really happy with my experience since my bookkeeper suggested it. They used it and then since taking a break from their services, I have been able to continue using it. I recommend it to all of my clients! Pros Melio is super simple to use and I love that paying my contractors (as long as it is done from my bank) doesn't have a fee! Fees are just a part of doing business, I know. But they really add up so finding lower costs options was important for me in my business. Cons Nothing I can think of! I use Melio pretty minimally. Director Architecture & Planning Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Online payment processing" November 17, 2022 4.0 Pros I use this software to send invoices to clients to enable them to pay immediately online using credit card or bank transfer. The credit card fees are paid by the payer if they choose to go that route. Cons We had some issues with some clients making payments where their bank declined to perform the transactions (not familiar with the services so they flagged it as fraud) so the client ended up not going through with the service and paid in other traditional methods. Only clients that were persistent in making it work and worked it out with their banks and ended up using it. We also were not able to integrate it with Quickbooks.
