The support team is always available to answer my questions and provide guidance whenever I need it. It is an excellent product with fantastic customer support, and I am glad to have found it. Pros I have been using CloudForecast for a while now, and I must say that it is an excellent service. The product does precisely what it says, which is to provide accurate forecasting of my cloud spending. After looking for several solutions, including AWS' built-in cost management tools, we settled on CloudForecast due to how simple the solution was to use. We get a daily recap right in Slack that keeps us informed of our cloud costs. Cons I think the initial setup with the AWS account could be improved. It took a couple of emails with the CloudForecasts team before we got it set up correctly, but it's worked great ever since. This causes the cost explorer to show comically incorrect predictions for the first 2 weeks of each month. CloudForecast is the first tool that has helped us accurately analyze AWS costs. I love their slack integration and the daily spend reports. This helps us stay on top of our AWS spending before it's too late. The 2 best features are the "Why?" explanation of sudden AWS cost increases, and the daily email digest of the spending forecast. The forecast tells me exactly how today's spending compares with historical spending, and if there are no problems I need to address, I can archive the email and go on with my day. If spending is up, there's a "Why?" link at the top of the email that will let me drill into the cause of cost increase, letting me discover the answer in less than 30 seconds. Together these have been tremendously helpful in worrying less about my AWS spend and getting it fixed when I need to. Cons I could use more proactive coaching about things I can be doing to actively lower my bill, though I do love the existing low-touch engagement it currently provides. Pros Getting daily reports via e-mail is really helpful to keep us informed about our spending. It is also beneficial to see the comparison of daily spending on the report. Cons We found the monthly cost of this product expensive as we only aimed to use it to get daily reports. That being said, the newly released "Community Plan", which is free to use, solved this problem for us.
