Moving over to a completely new inventory system is never going to be completely smooth, especially with multiple stores and a warehouse, and we’ve definitely had a few bumps along the way. What’s impressed me most is the support. When we’ve had an issue, the team have actually taken the time to understand it and work through it with us. We’ve also suggested changes and improvements and they’ve been open to the feedback. Pros The biggest thing for us is having everything in one place. Stock across multiple locations, purchasing, transfers and the warehouse are much easier to keep track of. The stock app and barcode scanning have also made day to day warehouse jobs quicker. I also really like that the Stok.ly team actually listen to feedback. Cons I’d say some parts of the system can feel a little over complicated at first, and there are areas where a few small changes would make the day to day workflow much quicker. We’ve also come across a few bugs while getting everything set up, but to be fair, when we’ve raised them the team have been responsive and worked with us to get them sorted. It replaced a setup of spreadsheets and disconnected systems that couldn't scale, and gave us real inventory control and automation across multiple brands and locations. We evaluated Brightpearl and Orderwise before choosing Stok.ly for its flexibility and integrated approach, and we'd recommend it to any retail, wholesale or manufacturing business wanting proper inventory control at scale. Pros As a multi-brand distributor holding stock across more than one location, the multi-location inventory visibility is the biggest win for us. The warehouse stock app has made our pick, pack and dispatch noticeably faster, and barcode scanning has improved inventory accuracy across sites. The automation around purchasing and stock transfers saves real admin time, and sales order processing for our trade accounts is far cleaner than what we had before. Having ecommerce, courier and accounting integrations in one platform means we're not stitching separate tools together. Cons It isn't the most hand-holding system on day one. There's a learning curve to getting sales channels and customer records set up correctly, and a few tasks are easier to do directly in the UI than via import. Once it's configured properly it's solid, and support has been responsive when we've needed them, but it's worth investing the time up front to get the setup right. We moved from a very out-of-date system last year, and as soon as we got Stock.ly, it was completely streamlining the way our business functions, incorporating the warehouse and brick and mortar shop, squashing so many prior problems. Pros Stok.ly have created a really user-friendly platform that ensures everyone in the business can learn and use this in there day to day job, incorporating all areas of the business from our shop staff to our warehouse staff. It has easy integration across all the platforms we use, allowing us to manage stock in 2 locations, all drawing from the same warehouse. This really revolutionised the way our staff pick products, eliminating the need for paper, pen and clipboard faff. The great order management allows us to seamlessly process our orders across various platforms such as our website, eBay and Amazon, ensuring there are no stock clashes. The customer support is fantastic and is always helping us with any questions we need answered. Shipping orders is easy quick and returns are handled in a simple manner. Every staff member knows what to do, and it makes our customer service 10x better. Pros Stok.ly is easy to use it enables you to have all your inventory in one place, Rules are run in the background to run picking and fulfilment, and it just makes our life easier. All of our sales channels come into one place, which allows direct inventory to them, and stock feeds from our suppliers enable us not to oversell a product. Cons Customer support is not the best, But it has got 10x better in the past few months. Issues have just taken longer to fix then it should have. We moved to Stok.ly from the dreaded Cloud Commerce Pro, after several periods of downtime we made the decision to move and it was the best move we could have made. It has improved most aspects of the business on the IT, including adding additional sales channels, automated shipping and price alterations. We have had very few issues with the system and any problems have been resolved very quickly. When looking for a new system we looked at several different systems and it came down to Orderwise and Stok.ly. Stok.ly offered the best overall package for the best value for money. The stock app has made our picking and packing team a lot more efficient and we now have very few stock discrepancies. We are now processing sales orders faster than ever and the system allowed us to send more parcels than ever in 2025. We would definitely recommend Stok.ly to any retail, wholesale or manufacturing business that needs / wants proper inventory control and automation on a large scale.
