Pros Very easy to use and saves a huge amount of time reconciling Amazon settlements. It automatically separates sales, fees, VAT and refunds and sends everything neatly into my accounting software. It saves us hours every month, and for the price it’s a no-brainer. The tax mapping is really easy to set up, and the autopublish feature has been super reliable, we just don’t have to think about it anymore. Support is also great. Whenever I’ve needed help, it’s been easy to get hold of someone and get things sorted quickly. The pricing is about right and its accuacy and reliability is excellent. Pros Link My Books is easy to understand, set up and configure for your business. It does a lot of the heavy lifting for you and creates nominal codes if you dont already have them for you. It is very user friendly and accurate. Cons Thye worst feratuer is having to wait until the 5th of the following month for Amazon VAT data before you are allowed to post the journals to your accounts. When you are trying to use your accounts to track profitability then this is far too long after the month end. There should be an option to allow the import before the VAT data is ready IF you want to . Then it is up to the user to correct the information if it is wrong. Sometimes speed is needed over accuracy. Reason for choosing Link My Books I use CTO (Carry The One) to link Shopify to Xero. Review Source EG Emily G. The setup was easy, small subscription issue on adding another sales channel but support were proactive and emailed our client to let them know what to do to transfer it back to us. All in all great solution for any clients selling on platforms in large volume. Makes life so much easier. Pros Ease of use. Our client is easily able to process their sales themselves as they look after the bookkeeping, they haven't needed to ask any questions etc. post set up which makes everyones lives easier Cons None so far! Our clients that are now using the platform are happy with how it works and I assume over time it will get better and better. Pros As someone who works in Accounting you just have so much thing to do, that's why automating things is the way to go to ease the work. Makes life a lot easier to handle Amazon fees as they are so complicated to understand. Maybe Amazon do this on purpose? The product allows me to automate the Amazon costs by allocating them to the right ledger codes without me having to be an Amazon expert.
