December 14, 2025 5.0 Such a great system when you have the complexity of ecommerce payments. It doesn't matter if it's Shopify, Stripe or Klarna LMB has a solution. Great team too 👍 Pros The automatic reconciling and coding are my favourite parts of LMB. They make quite a complex process really quite easy. Cons Sometimes I feel the reporting isn't as intuitive as it could be but it's a small complaint for such a good product. Pros I’ve been using Link My Books for our e-commerce accounting and the product itself is excellent — it does exactly what it says and saves a huge amount of time. What really stood out for me though was the support. I recently queried our subscription after realising we’d been on a higher tier than necessary. The team took the time to review it properly, acknowledged the situation, and came back with a fair resolution without any hassle. That kind of after-sales support is rare. It’s easy to sell a good product, but backing it up properly when a customer raises a concern is what builds long-term trust. Cons Not much really, only suggestion would be an auto downgrade on plan subscription if the volume of transactions falls to the next tier level. The pricing is about right and its accuacy and reliability is excellent. Pros Link My Books is easy to understand, set up and configure for your business. It does a lot of the heavy lifting for you and creates nominal codes if you dont already have them for you. It is very user friendly and accurate. Cons Thye worst feratuer is having to wait until the 5th of the following month for Amazon VAT data before you are allowed to post the journals to your accounts. When you are trying to use your accounts to track profitability then this is far too long after the month end. There should be an option to allow the import before the VAT data is ready IF you want to . Then it is up to the user to correct the information if it is wrong. Sometimes speed is needed over accuracy. Reason for choosing Link My Books I use CTO (Carry The One) to link Shopify to Xero. Review Source ES Erin S. It saves us hours every month, and for the price it’s a no-brainer. The setup was easy, small subscription issue on adding another sales channel but support were proactive and emailed our client to let them know what to do to transfer it back to us. All in all great solution for any clients selling on platforms in large volume. Makes life so much easier. Pros Ease of use. Our client is easily able to process their sales themselves as they look after the bookkeeping, they haven't needed to ask any questions etc. post set up which makes everyones lives easier Cons None so far! Our clients that are now using the platform are happy with how it works and I assume over time it will get better and better. Most sellers are not accountants and this allows you to just let your accountant deal with all this using this software to link Amazons cryptic reporting process directly into your Xero Accounts, job done. This normally takes hours and needs constant checking. Also the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is a very experienced Amazon seller himself and developed this after a lot of trial and error and pain felt in his own business. The very best software comes from entrepreneurs building a process to solve major pain point sin their own business. February 14, 2021 4.0 Very good onboarding experience. I’m fairly tech savvy and was able to get everything hooked up (4 marketplace accounts) in under 30 minutes. The issue I did have was promptly solved by customer support. 9/10 would recommend to a friend. Pros For Amazon and EBay sales, the software performs almost flawlessly. I had a minor hiccup where having multiple Amazon accounts caused an issue, but support was very quick to help out. It allows you to map to your chart of accounts with an insane amount of detail, while also allowing for you to keep the chart of accounts extremely simple. It just works like it’s supposed to. What more can you ask for? Cons The pricing. I feel as if it is slightly high for what LinkMyBooks does. I also wish that instead of basing the annual pricing on # of monthly orders, it could be switched to # of annual orders. As a semi-seasonal business (or most businesses during Q4), you’ll probably bump up to the next pricing tier accidentally. Cons Nothing really, it allows me to switch between multiple businesses and Amazon marketplaces without logging in and out each time. LMB automatically selects the correct taxes on each transaction as well before transfering to Xero, which is a massive help for someone not sure what to pick. The support I received was second to none with fast and to the point help from the guys.They helped me transfer a huge backlog of transactions as well as giving many tips!
