Once the initial setup is done, it becomes a useful tool that saves time each month. I also love how it integrates with all my channels seamlessly eg shopify, ebay, amazon, etc Pros Link My Books has saved us a lot of time by automating the bookkeeping side of our online sales. It pulls the sales data through clearly and helps make reconciliation much easier, especially when dealing with marketplace payouts, fees and VAT. It has made the accounts feel much more organised and less stressful. Cons There is a bit of a learning curve at the start, especially if you are not very confident with accounting software. Pros I’ve been using Link My Books for our e-commerce accounting and the product itself is excellent — it does exactly what it says and saves a huge amount of time. What really stood out for me though was the support. I recently queried our subscription after realising we’d been on a higher tier than necessary. The team took the time to review it properly, acknowledged the situation, and came back with a fair resolution without any hassle. That kind of after-sales support is rare. It’s easy to sell a good product, but backing it up properly when a customer raises a concern is what builds long-term trust. The tax mapping is really easy to set up, and the autopublish feature has been super reliable, we just don’t have to think about it anymore. Support is also great. Whenever I’ve needed help, it’s been easy to get hold of someone and get things sorted quickly. Pros It is really simple to record transactions using Link My Books with just the click of a button once set up. Cons The cost is flexible but when there are less transactions to account for every little extra adds up so I was considering cancelling for this reason.
