Originally purchased for Amazon integration and now using it for Etsy and Shopify (beta) integration too. Must have software as far as I’m concerned. Pros Integration with Amazon saves time and gives me confidence with VAT returns. Very easy to use and the support is excellent. Cons Nothing that I can think of. I have had to contact support a couple of times but that was me not understanding what I needed to do rather than a problem with the software itself. Support is excellent. So if I did have any issues I’d be confident in them getting resolved quickly. Working with a high street shop that sells under multiple VAT codes; it was almost impossible previously to work out the correct sales VAT. Link My Books does this seamlessly and saves me hours! The support team are fantastic and talked me through each step - although it was super easy to navigate! I couldn't be without this now. Cons Nothing! Director Retail Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Just what I was looking for " February 19, 2021 5.0 Pros Just a really great piece of software that makes my life a whole lot easier. Once we went Pan EU I had to get some sort of Amazon integration with Xero as I was doing it manually before that. Considered A2X but they're overpriced and US-centric. Being in the UK made LMB the obvious choice. But, I really couldn't be happier. I'm difficult to please and will often hop around and change providers several times before I'm satisfied. No need with LMB. I'm sure as others will mention too their customer service is extraordinary. Dan will often reply to queries himself, never with stock replies, but a real interest in getting your issue fixed asap. Cons Nothing really stands out as missing really. I suppose it's not able to reconcile VAT outside my home country, but I think this is a limitation of Xero and not just LMB. Oh another small thing, would be nice if they emailed me the invoice every month (or better yet automatically feed it to Xero), rather than having to manually download from the site. Regarding your feedback on our invoices, in the billing area you can actually send them directly to Xero in one click - we then create a bill for you and attach our VAT invoice. Pros The features are spot on, Highly Recommend Link my Books, You don't need to open it, once everything setup its all automated and sends invoices daily to Xero! February 19, 2021 5.0 Pros Link My Books seamlessly extracts information from my Seller Central account and puts it all neatly in an invoice. This saves countless hours of trying to go through all of the various reports that Amazon offers. Plus, this saves me from potential human error. In addition to this, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been fantastic! Not only has \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] answered any questions that I've had, he even personally made a short video for me to show me how to do something. Can't recommend Link My Books enough. Cons The initial setup can be a bit daunting when setting up tax mapping. This really isn't much of a con though as it is a requirement to have everything automated. Managing Director Retail Used the software for: 2+ years ### "The best solution for navigating Amazon payments" February 27, 2021 5.0 Previously I had to spend hours sorting through Amazon reports and extracting data, as we were trading across multiple Amazon platforms across Europe it could take almost a full day to just reconcile the Amazon payments and get the data in to Xero. But now Link My Books does it all automatically, without any intervention, it has saved me at least 1 full day per month. Pros Link My Books makes reconciling Amazon payments so easy, it posts straight to our Xero accounting platform, once setup. It is truly a set it and forget it piece of software. One of the key things for me with the software was that one of the people behind it used to be an Amazon seller, so they fully understand the difficulties. It also makes dealing with VAT across European Amazon marketplaces much easier. Cons To be honest there is nothing to dislike, it ticks all the boxes for me. Review Source RP Rowan P. What more do you need? Pros It is incredibly easy to use, the team are so helpful to help you set up, this has probably been the best investment I have made in my Amazon business! Cons It would be great if the transactions could adjust the stock levels on Xero, if they could do this it would be perfect . Pros It makes accounting for amazon payments within Xero as a seller so easy a VA can do it. Cons I would like if they offered a white glove service that does everything for you, including assessing what the appropriate tax/VAT setup is for you. Once you have had your accountant review the allocation of costs to account codes and have that confirmed, its easy to run and operate. Pros Love the integration with Xero Accounting software. Makes life a lot easier to handle Amazon fees as they are so complicated to understand. Maybe Amazon do this on purpose? The product allows me to automate the Amazon costs by allocating them to the right ledger codes without me having to be an Amazon expert. Cons Can be challenging if you don't have support from your Accountant, but take your time and run some tests. Reason for choosing Link My Books Seamless integration with Xero Accounts. Pros We used to do our Amazon bookkeeping once a month and took drawings from Amazon twice a month (To keep the number of transactions down). Since using Link My Books we are now taking funds from Amazon daily which greatly helps with cashflow - the number of accounting transactions is no longer a concern as Link My Books deals with it all for us Great that eBay has now been added Cons I know Etsy integration is on the way - it's a shame this wasn't done before Ebay as Etsy's accounting system is a complete shambles, whereas Ebay is pretty simple. Ongoing support is great, they let us know about issues, and provide the solutions before we even knew that we had a problem. The pricing is very reasonable for what you get. I would highly recommend anyone using Xero and selling FBA on Amazon to use Link my books! Pros Link My Books is a great tool to send all of my Amazon transactions to Xero. It's easy to use and has made my accounting so much easier. It's more affordable than similar products that do the same thing. Cons The only problem I have with Link My Books is that sometimes it gives an error when I try to send a payment to Xero. However, if I press the send button several times it eventually goes through. That was very error prone and extremely time consuming... since I switched to link my books it is significantly easier, faster and more accurate when managing Amazon accounting. It's effortless once set up and the team are always willing to assist with any queries I had. Cons Nothing just wish that I'd found it sooner! Indeed, before LMB, I wasn't really accounting to everything properly because it was just too hard to do. LMB has enabled me to maintain an accurate monthly profit and loss that I can use as a management tool on a monthly basis. One of the most significant improvements to my business in recent years... delighted!! Pros LMB is super easy to setup and use. In my opinion it beats other products on the market for features and value for money. Cons I can't think of anything I don't like about the software. Pros The Link My Books solution is excellent for automating all sorts of ecommerce accountancy processes, and solving issues with which we've been grappling for years. We need to account for multiple currencies and multiple online marketplaces, and this is working as promised - and like magic! This means we can work on our business instead of in our business. Excellent experience and not often found in the Amazon world. Pros The product is robust and transfers all the necessary data from our Amazon accounts. We needed support due to our own admin issue and the LMB team were amazing and extremely helpful.
