Support for Eu VAT complexities is excellent, such a life saver for us. We are able to do our books exactly as we wanted with LinkMyBooks, as opposed to A2X which we had been using for quite some time but were super frustrated with the lack of customizability as well as the price. LinkMyBooks solved all of our problems and the cherry on top was the great price! Excellent value and would recommend to anyone. Pros EU VAT setup very robust and flexible, great support, easy to learn to use Cons Some usability niggles, when sending statements to Xero the entire page refreshes, would be nice if this was async. Very quickly it has become an essential piece of kit for us and I dread to think the misery that would unfold if we were having to do this manually. LinkMyBooks does everything that A2X used to do - but with much lower monthly fees. It's great that you can get a single account for all of the Pan-EU markets, rather than having to pay for 5 different ones with A2X. Cons Mapping tax codes from Amazon to Xero is really complicated. It's not a software problem, obviously, but perhaps you could develop more detailed info and guides on this part as a value added benefit for your customers. Easy to use and it has an acceptable pricing structure. Customer support is UK based (from what we've experienced), so the understand our queries and provide a friendly and professional service. Cons They are unable to provide tax advice so we need to consult with our accountants. However, they are pretty clear from the outset that they do not provide such information - but if they could they would be leading the way in this field. Not a con but probably a development point to say that our accountants is a diehard A ... X user (like so many others), so has tried to encourage us away to the other side. Compared to my awful manual process I had before I'm literally saving hours each month and getting better accuracy. Cons I've got no issues with it so far, everything has been covered. Pros This product is just so easy to use, and saves me hours per week when compiling accounts. The other thing to mention, is both the support when setting up, and the ongoing support. When we set up at first, Daniel was helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Beyond that, whenever we've had questions or issues (which is very rare, and normally issues of my making) one of the support team have been on hand to resolve them very quickly. It saves hours of work each month and is easy to set up. Link My books keep on top of changes and add new features when necessary. Their customer service is excellent. Pros It saves a huge amount of time and made our accounting for Amazon disbursements accurate and headache-free. It can deal with UK and EU VAT, as well as US disbursements. I mean, I managed to do my last quarter reconciliation by setting everything up in 11 minutes which was the time that it took my pizza to get ready in the oven! Director Printing Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Helps make sense of Amazon invoicing" February 24, 2021 5.0 Pros It is easy to transfer the Amazon invoices into Xero Cons It's an Amazon issue more than a Link My Books issue - because their invoices are so complicated I need my accountant to regularly check the data is being exported to Xero with the correct VAT codes. When I'm feeling confident the data is correct, it would be great if I could select a whole batch of invoices and export them to Xero in one go rather than individually.
