For a medical SaaS startup needing native app shells quickly without a mobile dev team, AppMySite delivered. We published our Android doctor app to Google Play and have iOS running with push notifications — all from our existing web product. The main friction came from an architectural limitation: switching app modes requires a new project and breaks your existing keystore, which in a production Play Store context is a serious issue. Their support team resolved it, but it cost us time during a pre-launch phase. If you plan your project mode correctly from day one, the platform is solid. If you need to restructure mid-way, expect to depend on their support to recover your signing chain.

Pros

We used AppMySite to publish the doctor-facing shell app for SaludChat, a WhatsApp-based medical teleorientation platform. The web-to-URL mode let us wrap our Next.js web app into a native Android and iOS app without any mobile development. The iOS build with push notifications worked correctly, and the Android app was published to Google Play without issues once the keystore problem was resolved. Support was the real standout — when we hit a critical signing mismatch, they manually aligned the keystore from our original project (App ID \[sensitive content hidden\]) to our new one (App ID \[sensitive content hidden\]) so we could keep the same Play Store listing.

Cons

We originally started with WordPress mode and later needed to switch to URL/WebView mode to point to our web app. AppMySite requires creating a completely new project for this — there's no in-place migration. Since the signing keystore is held server-side and tied to the project, the new project generated a different keystore, which broke our Google Play signing chain. We had to open a support ticket and wait for them to manually fix the SHA1 mismatch between both App IDs. This should be a self-serve option, not a support escalation. But they help us a lot!

Very happy cant wait to get my next app up and running. Best of all the support teams are great intuitive and proactive gives me the help i need when i don't get things right.

Pros

Software it performs very well always in sync with my word press website. Also the support teams are quick to act with any issues.

Cons

Dashboard could have more options.I would also like to see more options for graphics and media whilst App building, As an example on splash page and app layout.

While the customization can be basic—and I did have to rely on my WordPress setup for things like form submissions—the trade-off for speed and ease of use is well worth it. It’s a reliable 'bridge' technology that does exactly what it promises: turns your site into an app with minimal friction

Pros

The most impressive aspect of AppMySite is its seamless integration with WordPress, which allows for an incredibly fast conversion from a website to a fully functional mobile app. The no-code interface is exceptionally intuitive, making it accessible for those without a technical background to design and customize their app in real-time. Additionally, the instant synchronization feature ensures that any updates made on the website are reflected in the app immediately, providing a consistent user experience without extra manual work.

Cons

While the platform is excellent for getting an app up and running quickly, the customization options feel a bit basic for more advanced design needs. Specifically, there is a lack of native form submission within the app interface. To handle data collection or inquiries, I had to rely on my WordPress site's existing forms rather than having a built-in, native mobile solution. This adds an extra step in the workflow and limits the "app-first" feel for certain interactive features.

Overall and eventually, a great experience, which has made my decision to continue with AppMySite easier moving forward.

Pros

Support was beyond expectations with a clear understanding of the issues that I encountered and detailed explanations of the options available to me.

Cons

Initially, being a free user trying out the service, response to my issues were not as good as I would have expected and I nearly dismissed AppMySite as a consequence.
