We published our Android doctor app to Google Play and have iOS running with push notifications — all from our existing web product. The main friction came from an architectural limitation: switching app modes requires a new project and breaks your existing keystore, which in a production Play Store context is a serious issue. Their support team resolved it, but it cost us time during a pre-launch phase. If you plan your project mode correctly from day one, the platform is solid. If you need to restructure mid-way, expect to depend on their support to recover your signing chain. Pros We used AppMySite to publish the doctor-facing shell app for SaludChat, a WhatsApp-based medical teleorientation platform. The web-to-URL mode let us wrap our Next.js web app into a native Android and iOS app without any mobile development. The iOS build with push notifications worked correctly, and the Android app was published to Google Play without issues once the keystore problem was resolved. Support was the real standout — when we hit a critical signing mismatch, they manually aligned the keystore from our original project (App ID \[sensitive content hidden\]) to our new one (App ID \[sensitive content hidden\]) so we could keep the same Play Store listing. Cons We originally started with WordPress mode and later needed to switch to URL/WebView mode to point to our web app. AppMySite requires creating a completely new project for this — there's no in-place migration. Since the signing keystore is held server-side and tied to the project, the new project generated a different keystore, which broke our Google Play signing chain. We had to open a support ticket and wait for them to manually fix the SHA1 mismatch between both App IDs. This should be a self-serve option, not a support escalation. But they help us a lot! We had a subscription with AppmySite for over a year. Went fromAUD$49 a month to AUD$390 a month overnight with no authorisation at all and no communication. Tried to get explanation and fell on deaf ears, no response at all from company. Terrible customer service. They have no where to view tickets at all, thus they keep sending an email we haven't heard from you we will shut this down, although clearly you have replied. As a small to medium business owner, these are the problems you just don't need when trying to solve your technical problems.
