Only engine on the market supporting photorealistic terrain of any size and planet out of box, without typical stability and performance issues

Robust asset streaming and background loading

Roadmap which makes sense

Cons: Engine is quite general, so it does not have some tools/features typical for pure game engines. But you can always solve it somehow.

Price is not indie friendly

Overall: In 2012 we switched from Unity3d to Unigine, because we had serious performance and huge stability issues. Actually it was showstopper. Without writing single line of code, on Unigine we had 5-6x better performance in identical scenes and no problems with stability at all. Unigine is not for hobbists (=> smaller community), on the other side this can be considered also advantage, because support can react quickly and also feature requests are no problem at all.
