Cons This is not a company you should trust with your business or data. The \[sensitive content hidden\], has no issue with using deceptive tactics in order to rope in users and leaving them in the dust without hesitation. Here are several examples (and it he chooses to flag this review, I'm more than happy to provide proof): 1) Placing lifetime deal users behind a paywall masquerading as a "Support Plan". Several years ago, \[sensitive content hidden\] ran a lifetime deal promotion campaign with AppSumo. These licenses started from $49 with the promise of providing lifetime access to their software for an early investment to beta software, essentially. Shortly after, \[sensitive content hidden\] began to strip access to our accounts and in order to receive "priority support" to restore access, and we had to purchase a "Support plan". Over the last year, I was given the same boilerplate response from \[sensitive content hidden\] and have not had access restored since. I've tried giving him the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately here I am writing this review. 2) Promising features to get the sale. Prior to purchasing a lifetime deal license, I asked if he was going to include Amazon rank tracking in the future. Without hesitation, his response was a solid yes. 2 years later, it was clear there was no intention to do so. He's money hungry and will do whatever it takes for financial gain and getting users trapped in his ecosystem. They key for \[sensitive content hidden\] is to squeeze every bit of money out of his users without offering anything in return and goes about it in a shameless way. From an objective standpoint, the software works and works well. I enjoyed the features and the visibility it offered to my SEO, HOWEVER, it comes down to which horse you're willing to back in a space with so many options. \[sensitive content hidden\] is someone with vision but lacks deeply in ethics and values as a founder in this space. With so much competition and comparable platforms, I don't see the incentive in investing the time and effort to integrate Ranktracker as a core piece in your SEO toolkit and initiatives. After buying a LTD license with lifetime access, they blocked my access, waiting several months until I had fully configured several projects. Now I have no possibility to consult or export my data.How to trust your business to this kind of companies that can change their mind and use almost mafia-like tactics? Don't do it, look for an honest alternative.It is a company with a very good marketing, a good image and a good website, but the tool never works well, it has many bugs and latency, it is not accurate, and the roadmap never advanced much, except to add superfluous payment options, money, money, money. Fortunately, I still have an SE Ranking account, a much more powerful and fine-tuned software, with constant improvements and excellent support. Pros There is nothing to highlight in particular, maybe a nice interface, although not very well organized and a bit confusing. Cons The most important thing is that this purchase has been a scam, no one should trust this kind of companies that can change the conditions as they please, demand more money and block your account, preventing you from consulting your data or exporting them. High hopes for this awesome tool. Pros For a newbie like me, Rank Tracker is a saviour. The UI is simple and easy to understand. It has Keyword Finder, SERP Checker, Web Audit tool, Actionable SEO Tasks and the ability to create customizable reports. 1. The rank tracking is mostly accurate. 2. They have the option to find keyword difficulty, but in order to access it i have to manually click it. It would be better if it's shown by default. 3. We can search for a keyword (country specific or global) and get its volume, location, keyword difficulty, CPC, PPC etc. within 30 seconds. 4. For a keyword, we can also see the related terms and ideas related to it. If they add the ability to auto suggest us (via email or in the dashboard itself) regarding low competition, but high volume keywords based on our search history, then it will be super useful. Cons 1\. At present, they don't have Google Analytics and Google Search Console integration, that should be added ASAP. 2. The interface was a little laggy at times, but that could be easily improved in the future. 3. All the tools except website audit are useful. Website audit only tells me what are the issues with my site but doesn't tell me how you can fix them. I have used some more tools for example Brand Overflow, Serprobot, etc. but found no one is as good as Rank Tracker. I can do keyword analysis as well as rank tracking simultaneously. It saves both cost and time. So in one word, I love this tool Pros I have purchased the tool from Appsumo LTD few months ago. I love the rank tracker feature in the tool. Because I can check for multiple search engines from the same place. Besides I can check ranking based on the device. I have seen the rank tracker can check position almost instantly. I love this feature. I have used some tools, that take much time to track for the first time. Another reason to fall in love with this tool, I can do keyword analysis. The keyword finder gives me suggestions as well as show-related keywords that help me to select LSI keywords for my content. There's more, I can check SERP to know about my competitors using this tool. Another feature is auditing. It audits the website and shows the problem that should be fixed to improve ranking. That is also a great feature, I think. Recently they have added language in their rank tracking system that is awesome. Cons There are so many good features in this tool but still, I feel there should some more features as they are trying to introduce them as an SEO tool. There should be "Site Exploring" Feature like Ahrefs so that we can find backlink and organic keywords data. I have talked to them and they said they are working on it. It is also easy to use and understand, which sets it apart from many of the other "professional" SEO sites. With the included tutorials I was able to get up and running very quickly without having to go to help files or FAQs. Pros For those who don't know much about SEO, Ranktracker has a great tutorial section on SEO and "How To Rank", as well as a really nice onboarding/guided tour feature to explain the interface and the tools available. The dashboard is a clean and easy to understand at-a-glance view of your SEO but not lacking in detail. I love how I can search globally to find the best keywords, including niche and long-tail keywords. The combination of difficulty rating and search volumes helps in decision-making on the best keywords to use. The Keyword Finder is great for searching out additional keywords beyond those you may have thought of. I like to see how my competition is ranking and how I rank compared to them. (I discovered that most of my competitors are NOT utilizing SEO to the fullest, so this has opened up multiple opportunities that I would not have been aware of if I hadn't been using Ranktracker!) The SERP checker is another tool that is invaluable for checking the competition, comparing my ranking and finding those opportunities to assist in improving my SERP ranking. The Web Audit is useful for hunting down and fixing SEO related issues on a website. I like how my site is compared to competitors to expose areas where I can improve my standing and maybe even gain a competitive edge. Cons There are a few things, like a backlink tool and a content tool that I would find useful (they are on the roadmap). Reason for choosing Ranktracker I am relatively new to the world of SEO. I have checked out products related to SEO and have found most of them very complex and confusing. I didn't feel that I should invest in something I didn't even know how to get a result from! Ranktracker took all the fear and overwhelm away. Ranktracker has a good tutorial section on SEO and "How To Rank", as well as a really nice onboarding/guided tour feature to explain the interface and the tools available. For each tool, you can click on the Guided App Tour to walk you through the related section. Many tools are way beyond the price point for me as a small business. Ranktracker's value/price ratio is very high delivering much more than most competitors at a very attractive price. Ranktracker does that very well. It is intuitive to use without too much of a learning curve, yet gets the work done. Pros Ranktracker is easy to use, no steep learning curve and very easy to setup. It gives a detailed overview of the status of your keyword ranking. On top of that you can do extensive keyword research and track your competitors. Cons Some searches can take some time to show results. It says it can take up to 30 seconds but usually stays below 15. All data has to be scraped and aggregated, so I understand it can take time. Pros The only thing I liked was some of the design choices but actually navigating it is no fun. Cons Where to start, the rank tracker itself which is obviously supposed to be the main selling point based on their name seemed very cheap and once my keyword list was imported it seemed like it was queued up, days go by and nothing ever appeared. The SEO checklist was a nice little extra but seems like it would only be useful to SEO novices as people with more knowledge would make their own list and if using a tool like this, would have already had a game plan. Backlink checker showed a tiny fraction of the backlinks found by more well-known backlink checkers, in their defense the tool is marked beta, time will tell if it improves or not. With that in mind the backlink monitor never alerted of anything. As for the audit tool, we were experiencing some issues with this over the past few days but its now restored. If you were encountering issues you could have always reached out to us via livechat, but there are no support requests that i could find under your account details. October 21, 2021 5.0 My overall impression of RankTracker is quite obvious - it's really good. Worth mentioning too is their great support. It's a UK company and despite that it's in the middle of the night for them, they respond interactively in the customer support chat. I am amazed! So in all: Excellent product/service. Needs a few improvements in the website audit, but improvements are coming rapidly, the developers and the product management are really responsive to the customers and new features are launched often. My overall rating is 5 stars out of 5 possible. Pros The rank tracking is in it's own league. When I compare it to other services, RankTracker stands out clearly as the better option. This company is listening a lot to its users so I am sure that the future will also come with a lot of new features. Just today, just as an example, they added a feature that many had asked for. Speedy delivery of a new feature that made the product much more versatile. Cons Without any doubt the website audit. It does many things right, but why doesn't t for instance recognize that URL rewrite IS enabled, that there are defined 404 pages etc? With “Ranktracker” all is very simple “no muss no fuss”, all we need is in one place as and when needed. I was prepared for a hugely complicated full of confusing graphs and numbers that make no sense without spending days educating yourself what is what and what it means. But to my surprise, none of it happened, all is very well constructed in a way that even a novice wouldn't have a problem understanding what they are looking at. There were a lot of keywords and good placements in Search Engines that we simply weren’t aware of. And that’s just the “free” stuff... If you register relevant keywords, you get a nice overview, how “expensive” it is in terms of SEM, how frequently it is used and you even get suggestions of similar phrases. An interesting feature is to set up some domains of your competition and get some insight, what keywords they use and how they rank in comparison to you. The lack of communication and transparency from Rank Tracker is alarming. After reaching out for support, I was met with silence, leaving me without access to a service I had invested in. This not only reflects poorly on the company's integrity but also raises questions about their commitment to customer satisfaction. Then they effectively put our account behind a paywall, totally blocking access to the tool unless we buy for yearly support. I don't want yearly support. I don't need it. I just need access to the product I bought. Honour your commitments to the many people who bought your deal, and stop being a shameful company. And if you didn't buy an AppSumo life time deal, don't worry, they could change the rules on you at any time, effectively stealing the money you've paid for their product. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
