June 26, 2023 1.0 This is a company that definitely does not honor its commitments. I accessed the app today and, to my surprise, I can't access any features. I purchased a lifetime plan through Appsumo with a one-time payment, and now they have simply blocked access to all platform features, claiming it is necessary to purchase a "support" plan. I don't demand any support from the platform, only lifetime access to the app's features as described on the Appsumo page. If they did this to me and countless other users, as you can verify right here on Trustpilot, they can do it to anyone else. Pros It's not possible to like this in any way after what they have done. Cons I bought a lifetime plan and I simply cannot access the features anymore. Even if they gave me access back, I would not continue to do business with this company. They are simply not trustworthy. I'm left feeling bitter and frankly, quite cheated. I hope others don't have to go through what I did. Pros Their Keyword Research tool is OK. It's helped me uncover some Keywords. The ranktracker works in the beginning too. You can discover keywords that alligns with your content. Cons I bought a lifetime deal from Appsumo, which seemed like a fantastic bargain at the time. But after a while, I hit a roadblock. The deal just stopped working, and they forced me to pay again for what I'd already paid for. Talk about a punch in the gut! It felt like buying a car, only to have the dealer come back a year later and say, "Oops, you need to pay again to keep driving."It's not just about the money; it's about trust. This tool like to compare itself to mid tier tools and does so, well. Sometimes I feel that the dev is missing some UX skills to transform this tool to a productive powerhouse. I mean the features are available but the packaging should be improved. But, for SMEs this tool gives a lot of data for actionable SEO strategies. It does complement well with other free SEO tools. Getting info was pretty quick though the backlinks seem to take a little longer. Pros It has a lot of features. The seo audit and the seo checklist were handy while giving some good info about all the keywords you are tracking. Cons In the backlinks I don't see a way to filter to just the specific root domain rather than every single link from the domain. Cons Hello, I feel like I should start off by saying that I’m not one to pop off about a company. I completely understand that not every customer service interaction is going to be a home run, but in this instance the guy running RankTracker.com (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is his name apparently), has lied and conned me out of $1000. Ultimately, it’s hard not to feel like this has all been a total scam and I just hope no one else falls prey to this guy - here is the story.I signed up for their Black Friday 7-day free trial but then their platform was down for several days of that trial so I requested, and was granted, an extension (I asked for 7 days and this \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] character gave me 5, so great). But then suddenly my credit card was charged just under $1000 during the “free trial" extension. I reached out to this guy, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], who apparently owns the platform, and he agreed to issue a refund.Since then I've heard nothing, totally ghosted, no refund or follow-up and that was days ago so now here I am, forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company.What is bizarre is that I was in a trial, so basically right on the cusp of a sale, and then this guy decides to just steal the money. Takes literally less than 60 seconds from creating an account to adding a website and keywords to track. Cons Honestly this software is great all around and I feel bad talking down about any parts of it, but if it could suggest more keywords that would be great. Pros Das UI von RankTracker ist übersichtlich und durchdacht. Es macht die Arbeit schnell und effizient und gibt einen schnellen Überblick über den aktuellen Stand und einer Analyse wo die SEO-Strategie verbessert werden kann. Ebenso die Einrichtung ist gut gestaltet, mit Potenzial zu kleineren Verbesserungen. Cons Man merkt an einigen Stellen, dass RankTracker noch nicht komplett ausgereift ist. Die größte Hürde ist das nachträgliche Bearbeiten von Keywords, bzw. Änderungen an den Suchmaschinen oder Sprache. Dies ist aktuell nur möglich, indem man die Keywords alle löschen muss und komplett neu anlegt. Einige Tracking-Ergebnisse sind scheinbar auch nicht korrekt, bzw. betrifft dies nur Google Maps bei mir. Hier wird bei jedem Keyword kein Ranking gefunden, obwohl ich für meine Keywords in Maps und an den Standorten auf Platz 1 bis 3 bin. Ebenso buggy ist der Audit an vielen Stellen. Es wird beispielsweise bemängelt, dass kein Favicon vorhanden ist etc. obwohl dies alles korrekt vorhanden ist auf den Websites. Gelegentlich kommen dann noch Kapazitätenprobleme dazu, dass Berichte aufgrund von Serverfehlern nicht geladen werden können. It has very easy on boarding and almost anyone can do SEO and start getting results. UI is neat and user-friendly and tool looks very simple even it does all the complex job for SEO. I can do web audit and track my rank against my competitors. I can also do keywords' research and also can see the keywords difficulty score, which is very helpful before I invest time on keywords which I would not be able to rank. Cons Although the tool is great, but the SERP words which I can track for my ranking are limited in each plan. Same goes with the pages I can crawl for website audit purposes. I asked the owner in support why my account was disabled, he plays like he doesn't know the reason and that he will have support fix the problem. 3 weeks later I see this happened to others. I asked if they will fix my account and the owner tells me they will email me, his way of saying don't bug us anymore. Paid user and they permanently disabled my account.
