It's not bloated with features like a lot of the other similar tools and it's pretty affordable. Great for small agencies like ours. I'm using it for 5 years now and haven't had to reach out to support about anything or had any major issues. It just works and is easy to use. Our clients also love it — I had multiple clients tell me the loved the proposal layout and how straightforward and clear it was. I had to contact them at least once a week and they always saying that it’ll be solve soon, but it’s never solved soon. We can avoid talking about all the bug during the creation of the proposal, while you can’t edit properly because you select something but it’ll affect another element… But your lead won’t even be able to see your proposal because their server are always down, it’s not working. Then it makes you feel unprofessional because you use a tool that can’t even make their main feature work just a little bit. Pros Very professional, clean interface, easy to use, and heavily underpriced as far as I am concerned. Cons Gets bugs sometimes, but Prospero team is always very responsive and fixes them quickly. August 22, 2022 4.0 Overall I'm very happy with this software and feel it is good value for money compared to others on the market. I would certainly recommend to others. Pros As I work for a Design Company, we need proposals that are aesthetically fitting with our Brand, Prospero enables us to create documents that are easy to generate but that look good too. The software is super easy to use and I've always had a speedy response from Customer Services when there's been any kind of hiccup. Cons Tables/spreadsheets are hard to insert which is critical for us on some estimates we create. Costing tables could have more functions added as the current setup is a little restrictive. When exporting the document into a PDF, there are often lots of gaps and spaces that don't appear on the software, and it's very fiddly to correct (and sometimes I'm not able to fix at all). Reason for choosing Prospero I can't remember which alternatives we considered, but Prospero was cheaper, easier to use and had a design we much preferred to others. I don't use Prospero for every project as some are smaller once off gigs so I utilise Prospero for those larger more detailed projects that I REALLY want to work on & I very much believe that it is contributing to my landing of client projects !! Pros I LOVE Prospero , ever since using this proposal based site I have been able to showcase my "quotes" in a more detailed, professional & streamlined format. The ease of use is incredible & prior to using Prospero I was writing up all my own individually which was extremely time consuming , yes I know , im so old school! But ever since Prospero came into my life I have been able to save time , the importing function allows me to grab sections from previously created proposals & pop into new proposals - of course every project is different but you do have those particular components that are relevant so this function is amazing! I love how you can download in PDF format to print off I can keep one hard copy for myself & present the other to my client when attending a meeting, so they not only have the online version they also have hard copy for their own files too! The pricing system gives you choice, you can detail the information about each service & if you're shit at math it does the calculations for you :) Cons There is nothing negative to state. When I did encounter a small issues with text over lapping , I got in touch with the team via email & they responded very quickly! Also I enjoy that I get notifications when the customer opened and signed the document. It is important for us to know when that is signed Cons I would like that I could create a contract using my phone than just a computer. I’m always on the phone and 8/10 times I need to create a contract and only have my phone or ipad. So I have to wait till I arrive to the office to create the contract. I love that I can see how long a client has reviewed a proposal and can get their signature right away. The wix integration was nice for having the client name and email address auto-populated in the contract ( saves time and is perfect everytime). Before I used to spend hours crafting proposals for clients. Ever since we moved to Prospero, we are crafting proposals right after our meetings. Most importantly the clients find it easy and straight forward to read. And for us, we get to track our acceptance rate without issues. Pros I like how easy it is to used, and since I can save my own templates from previous projects, I can organize them better. Also, the clients find it very easy to use and sign!
