We tried several competitors that had nice features. The learning curve, flexibility and price point made Prospero the best choice for us! Pros Intuative with a small learning curve. First proposal took 20 minutes mainly to learn and setup. Each proposal thereafter less than 5 mins. My sales staff loves Prospero. Pros Prospero has an intuitive software with the exact features a designer needs to develop a proposal, it has saved me a lot of time in my life as a freelance designer. It's so great having my terms written out for me in a few clicks. It's also really helpful having it professionally written so I don't waste time trying to come up with the best term to say it. Pros It's really easy to use and does all the work for me. I've told everyone about it. I'm on a few different design and creative groups and people are constantly asking about how to write their design proposal or contracts or what to put in the terms. I luckily just have to click a few buttons and I'm done. Some months I use it once sometimes more (it's only a part-time gig for me) but it's worth it every time. This works perfectly for that. Pros It's so easy to use, has helped me pare down my proposals and make them look great. Prospero seem to add more functionality regularly and I hope they keep doing that. Simple, easy, saves me so much time! Cons There could be more integrations (e.g. send to Basecamp or Quickbooks when won). Very useful for me especially on the Terms & Conditions part for example. A really good feature is also the possibility to check when the proposal has been opened and how may times it has been viewed. Cons It is in english at the moment and I am not sure if there are other languages, but not Italian. I love the intuitive workflow, everything works like clockwork. The design of the proposals is also great. the templates look great out of the box but you can tweak them if needed. The customer service is fantastic too. They're very quick to respond via email, and very helpful. They even send out informative emails on how best to pitch for job you want and similar stuff, this is a nice touch and very helpful!I honestly wouldn't look any further, this is probably all you'll need in proposal program Cons None. Cons There's always room for improvement, I think to allow the users to have full control and access of each proposal no matter if it is archived or not would be a cool feature. Cons The integrations for sending invoices are limited. For example, It'd be great if QuickBooks Self employed was an option. It helps to send proposals faster while still having a decent look. The proposal tracking is fantastic. The Prospero team sends marketing and proposal tips and tricks, which helped me quite a lot to have a better acceptance rate. Pros It helps to track proposals easier. Clients do like the way the "sign" the proposals. Somehow they take it more seriously. Cons Clients can't separately choose between pricing options.
