December 17, 2025 4.0 I finally took the time to sync the SKUs for my Etsy shop with my independent website. The whole process will go much quicker if your SKUs already match (took longer for me since they weren't). This was the only thing holding me up to finally using Trunk to sync them. Having those two online shops synced has been such a weight lifted off of my shoulders. Where it is really amazing is keeping track of stock of an item that is used in multiple orders/SKUs. I am still slowly getting it more and more functional for myself, and very happy that I took the time to set it all up. I look forward to seeing additional organization capabilities in the future. Overall, it takes time to set up, but become more and more useful the more I do. Pros Main reason I use this application: you can sync listing inventory between Etsy and Squarespace (along with other common platforms). You can set the system to alert you when stock drops below a designated threshold. Where it is really amazing is keeping track of stock of an item that is used in multiple orders/SKUs. One order placed on a platform can set up to pull inventory for all components used to create the item for that order. This allows to better keep track of all inventory, such as packing material. I didn't realize how useful this option would be. Cons I can't create categories to organize my inventory, and more easily search for specific items to link them as an item to a listing or to restock them. If I want to make an edit that effects many inventory items, I have to make those changes to each item rather than being able to make that change to multiple items at one time. Now, all I do is update my inventories on a single site and it ripples out across the other stores automatically. Cons Although the monthly pricing is a bit high at the moment for my taste, I've found it works great to turn on Trunk before my busy season around the holidays to make sure I'm not overselling my inventory. Trunk was recommended in a mastermind group I’m part of, and it solved the problem immediately. It keeps my inventory accurate across platforms and saves me a huge amount of time every week. I’m also planning to transition from Squarespace to Shopify later this year, and knowing Trunk will handle that easily gives me a lot of confidence. I even run an educational program for artists starting product businesses and Trunk is the only inventory system I plan to recommend. Pros Trunk is incredibly easy to set up and does exactly what I need without being overly complicated. I had it connected to all my sales channels in about an hour. It syncs inventory across everything automatically, which immediately removed a huge amount of stress from my business. I didn’t realize how much time I was spending managing inventory until Trunk took it off my plate. It’s also a very clean interface without a bunch of unnecessary features cluttering things. Cons At first I thought there were no reporting options, or at least I couldn’t find them. I reached out to customer service and they were able to generate the report I needed right away and told me they can do that any time. So honestly I don’t really have any cons. Pros I have a website and an Etsy shop, and trying to monitor inventory with a spreadsheet was a nightmare The lady helping me with finessing my shops said I needed an inventory tracker that would keep my product counts up to date, so we went searching. We tried another first, but it did not update quantities quickly. It would take over 30 minutes, which could create issues. So, we went back to the drawing board and found Trunk. It updates immediately and makes it easy to keep on top of my stock. It is super easy to use, and so far, it has proven secure. I have had no bugs or issues. It is well worth 35 to not fret about how much I have of a product. It has really helped. Thank you. Cons I wish I could link the brick and mortar ships I am in. I started with a different platform and quickly switched to Trunk as it keeps track of sales going in both directions. The help menu covered all of my questions, and Trunk's customer service was great. Pros Getting set up was easy. I used the SKU numbers provided by squarespace and copied them into my Etsy listings. That was pretty much it. Not having to worry about tracking items manually saves me so much time! Cons Trunk is great! I can set up my listings, make sure the SKUs are correct and forget about it - no matter which platform someone buys on or whichever I update. Brilliant! Pros Entrepreneurship is demanding and there is only so much time in the day. When you have more than one storefront (in my case - Etsy and Squarespace) its important to make sure inventory is synced across platforms so you don't oversell. Its ESPECIALLY important when most of what you sell is one of a kind. If I oversell my vintage books I don't have a backup because they're not easy to find. I was stressing out a lot trying to make sure I kept the platforms in sync manually every time I made a sale. When the holidays were approaching I knew I had to find SOMETHING to help me or I would go crazy! I am SO HAPPY I found Trunk! After compulsively checking the first few orders I received had automatically synced I felt such a huge burden lifted off of me! Its easy to use and effective. It was beyond error-prone and was hurting our business since we would experience constant stock outs and oversells. At one point one of our guys was semi-fulltime fixing our inventory. I can't stress how much of a nightmare it was. We found Trunk and integrated it within hours. Then we spent a good amount of time correcting our inventory for hopefully the last time. Ever since then, Trunk has kept our inventory in sync beautifully, even during Black Friday or the busy holiday season. Hope these guys stay in business forever since we'd be seriously messed up without them. April 30, 2019 5.0 We are a supply store that sells lots of bundles like in packs of 5, 10, 25, etc. Before Trunk we were spending so much time adjusting our inventory manually. Luckily Trunk has the wonderful ability to allow us to create smart kits so we are no longer having to deal with this anymore. Trunk also gave us the confidence to sell on eBay and it has been growing ever since. We are looking forward to selling on more channels that they will hopefully support soon. Pros A great time and energy saver! It manages my business across several platforms at once.
