The overall experience was easy and smooth. I was able to create survey questions at the last minute, just before class. Very easy, very flexible. Pros I liked that I had access to everything I signed up for -- word clouds, survey exports to Excel, and importantly for a busy scholar/teacher, ease of use -- for a reasonable price, as an individual user. Cons My only complaints is that you have to decide on renewing a month in advance. To me, that's not a good policy. Pros I like that Vevox is more of a superpower than just a pedagogical tool. It enables fast-paced and specific educational tasks to be attractively packaged and shared with students. It's versatile, enjoyable, and allows me to hear all my students, responding to each by capturing their individual work. Vevox enables students to provide their best work without anxiety, while also letting me show them how to improve further. This strengthens the teacher-student relationship and quickens the pace of progression, making it visible immediately to the students. I also appreciate how it allows the new AI generations to use mobile technology productively in user-friendly ways. The setup of Vevox was very easy, and using it alongside Quizlet connected to Moodle works well. Paying for a Vevox account was the best choice I've made after being unhappy with Moodle as the only institutional platform. Cons The improvement that would help in these contexts is the data download. Everything arrives in spreadsheets which is great for viewing and thinking, but not so great for using. In other words, I would present to a whole group all their work (anonymised) with comments and feedback. They all learn from each other as well as me. I learn from them. I recently had a meeting with Amie from Vevox, who shared a number of practical tips and new ways to maximise the features, so I’m now more confident and excited to use it more extensively in my teaching. The tool has strong potential to enhance interaction and real-time feedback in the classroom. Pros Vevox is very easy to use, both in the browser and when integrating into PowerPoint. I particularly like the word cloud, polls, and ranking question formats — these make it quick to gather students’ thoughts and see common themes emerging in real time. Highly recommend this product, it was intuitive, didn't require a background in IT, was able to easily get my team involved to use the product to support during the event. They made it easy to focus on the things that required my attention rather than troubleshooting my audience experience. They made it so that a community can get involved directly and get information that was vital for them. Highly recommend. Pros Customer service was fantastic and worked with my schedule. Intuitive design and application, the user experience was better than expected. Used Vevox to have a live audience Q&A, loved the ability to moderate and publish questions live, zero delays or hiccups- audience loved the experience and had zero trouble using it. Especially appreciated the ability to have the audience submit questions anonymously which created a higher degree of audience engagement, in fact, our experience netted a 75% audience engagement outcome through Vevox. Cons I don't have any cons. I would have liked to have a way to display our content through the application so that we didn't have to switch screens or build that transition period into our event (was held on a college campus). I am sure there is a way to integrate something like that already, it just wasn't readily apparent. Students love the ease with which they can engage with polls and surveys, and for the opportunity to apply their learning through these. Staff love the ability to quickly engage with students and shift from a transmission pedagogy to an interactive pedagogy. The platform stability and simple UI are key factors for staff and student adoption. Pros There are lots of things I like about Vevox, it's hard to narrow it down! Definitely near the top of the list is the fantastic support provided by the Vevox team. Since becoming a Vevox customer six years ago, our university has continued to have a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with Vevox. The team are invested in our success, and go above and beyond to check in, support and encourage our usage of the platform. The platform itself has a fantastic UI, the best of any similar product on the market. It is fresh, clean, modern, intuitive and so easy to use. This is vital for university lecturers, many of whom would not have strong digital skills, so being able to quickly and easily pick up a digital tool for their teaching is so important. Lastly, the continuous, steady development of new features for Vevox is another fantastic dimension of the platform. The platform is so different to when we first used it six years ago, and has so many new features added, many of which were developed based on customer feedback. " October 27, 2025 5.0 Brilliant - it did exactly what we needed and has a great user interface. We'd loved to have used more of the features as we only scratched the surface, but for our recent event it did everything we wanted and did it perfectly. Pros We used Vevox for an event at the Royal Geographical Society in London, with both in-person and online audiences, and it worked flawlessly. The interactive Q&A was exactly what we needed — attendees could simply scan a QR code to join, and the moderation tools made it easy to manage which questions appeared on screen. We really liked that moderation could be delegated to others, and that we could spotlight and control content from a secondary device, meaning I didn’t have to be up in the AV suite during the event. The ability to customise what was shown on participant devices and on the main screen gave us a fully branded experience that looked fantastic. Everything ran smoothly and reliably — we’d highly recommend Vevox for any hybrid or live event needing seamless audience engagement. Cons There wasn't anything we disliked - we used this product for our event as we needed a solution that gave live, interactive Q&A that could be accessed by in person and online attendees with the ability to spotlight specific questions.
