### "Vevox- the best audience response tool there is"

I love Vevox- it helped make my presentations easy to follow, engaging and memorable- Vevox is what made them stand out in a sea of other presentations.

Pros

I tried several audience response tools before I found Vevox, and I am eternally grateful to the person who recommended Vevox to me. I think that Vevox is by far the best platform for the following reasons: Major pros: - versatility of questions you can ask (for instance, I wanted the audience to guess a number on a scale from 0 to 1 with 2 decimal places and display a histogram of the guesses along with an average guess- I can tell you that no other platform was capable of anything close to this) - plugin for PowerPoint works like a charm- (you do not need to upload your presentation to some Vevox online platform and display it from there, instead, Vevox plugs into your PowerPoint and you can add the questions between your slides. This is really important because the way your slides work outside PowerPoint is not uniform and some features like animations may not work in and online environment, some formatting may not be the same, etc.) Minor pros: - ease of audience connection to the platform (there is the QR code and then there is the web address where a session ID can be entered) - even the free version has more features and works better than the free versions of other platforms - great customer support

Cons

For the results to be displayed properly you need to have a Vevox Plugin installed on the PowerPoint that your presentation is being played from. If you are presenting at a conference, this means that you need to check with the organizer of the conference that they install Vevox upfront or ask that you display the presentation from your own laptop where you have Vevox Plugin installed. You also need to be connected to the internet (obviously). These are not "cons" in a true sense, because there is really no way in which an audience response tool can function without being connected to the internet, but mere warnings to novice users.

### "Outstanding Support and Intuitive UI Make Vevox a Standout Choice"

The team in Vevox have and continue to be so supportive, encouraging and invested in the success of the platform at our university, where we have had a steady rate of adoption over the past six years. Students love the ease with which they can engage with polls and surveys, and for the opportunity to apply their learning through these. Staff love the ability to quickly engage with students and shift from a transmission pedagogy to an interactive pedagogy. The platform stability and simple UI are key factors for staff and student adoption.

Pros

There are lots of things I like about Vevox, it's hard to narrow it down! Definitely near the top of the list is the fantastic support provided by the Vevox team. Since becoming a Vevox customer six years ago, our university has continued to have a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with Vevox. The team are invested in our success, and go above and beyond to check in, support and encourage our usage of the platform. The platform itself has a fantastic UI, the best of any similar product on the market. It is fresh, clean, modern, intuitive and so easy to use. This is vital for university lecturers, many of whom would not have strong digital skills, so being able to quickly and easily pick up a digital tool for their teaching is so important. Lastly, the continuous, steady development of new features for Vevox is another fantastic dimension of the platform. The platform is so different to when we first used it six years ago, and has so many new features added, many of which were developed based on customer feedback.

Cons

An add-on/extension for Google Slides, similar to the Office 365 add-on, would be welcome, as our university uses the Google suite of apps.

As an Educational Technologist at Queen’s University Belfast, I train staff and lecturers on Vevox, and it has quickly become a core engagement tool for teaching and large-scale events. We’ve used it successfully for All Staff sessions, where the Q&A feature allows hundreds of participants to ask and upvote questions without interrupting the flow. Lecturers regularly tell me that integrating Vevox polls into their lectures increases student participation and supports adaptive teaching by giving them instant feedback on understanding.

Overall it's been very positive. The Customer Support team are easy to contact and very responsive. I see features in the product that I submitted as feature requests. Our engagement from staff has exceeded all expectations, which I think says it all.

Pros

Vevox's intuitiveness and flexibility has made onboarding staff a breeze. We don't get a lot of support requests about Vevox, and students like the interactive sessions they are taking part in.

Cons

The only real negative is that the PowerPoint integration lags behind the dashboard for new features, which can occasionally cause confusion, and we have had a few issues with the integration that are at the Microsoft 365 end but end users perceive as Vevox not working as they expect.

Overall, my experience with Vevox has been very positive despite some interface limitations. The platform delivers on its core promise of facilitating audience engagement, and it handles large groups exceptionally well. Additionally, the question slide lacks a built-in trigger or prompt feature that would allow presenters to read questions aloud to the audience before requesting responses. This missing feature disrupts the natural flow of presentations and requires manual coordination, which can be awkward during live sessions.

### "Veterinary Presentations on a Whole New Level"

I first used Vevox to introduce the interactive aspect of teaching during the presentation of my paper "Interactive Teaching Method with Applicability in Veterinary Medicine", back in 2020, within the Symposium "Young People and Scientific Research in Veterinary Medicine", 2019, Timișoara. It was the only presentation to get such high engagement from the audience and it was just another proof that the concept is being overlooked in traditional teaching methods. Then later on we have used it throughout some classes and presentations, including one which had around 300 attendees. The web UI and the add-in are both optimized and can be used in even low-end laptops without breaking a sweat (Think about how PowerPoint is not that optimised). We've had zero issues and the audience could join the polls and quizzes with ease. Obtaining the report from the answers and the leaderboard of the quizzes was also very easy. Today's standards may expect users to have mid to high-end smartphones and laptops, but there are still people using stable older tech.

Pros

Amazingly easy to create polls and quizzes, clean ui which works on any device and integration with powerpoint using an add-in. These are the main features which have kept us on track to choose Vevox for all of our presentations and even integrated it in Veterinary teaching.

Cons

The only downside would be that the default subscription plans don't have a monthly option. Even though there is no option to purchase a one month subscription, this can be covered by emailing their team for support.

### "Great for Hybrid Moderated Q&A! "

Brilliant - it did exactly what we needed and has a great user interface. We'd loved to have used more of the features as we only scratched the surface, but for our recent event it did everything we wanted and did it perfectly.

Pros

We used Vevox for an event at the Royal Geographical Society in London, with both in-person and online audiences, and it worked flawlessly. The interactive Q&A was exactly what we needed — attendees could simply scan a QR code to join, and the moderation tools made it easy to manage which questions appeared on screen. We really liked that moderation could be delegated to others, and that we could spotlight and control content from a secondary device, meaning I didn’t have to be up in the AV suite during the event. The ability to customise what was shown on participant devices and on the main screen gave us a fully branded experience that looked fantastic. Everything ran smoothly and reliably — we’d highly recommend Vevox for any hybrid or live event needing seamless audience engagement.

Cons

There wasn't anything we disliked - we used this product for our event as we needed a solution that gave live, interactive Q&A that could be accessed by in person and online attendees with the ability to spotlight specific questions. It did all of this perfectly.

Vevox has changed the game when it comes to engagement, data and information capture of audiences. Whether you are running a presentation, informational session, polling, or utilizing as a pop quiz for scoring purposes, Vevox houses the capabilities for your needs. If you have a bit of creativity and understand what it is that you are trying to accomplish, Vevox has the ability and functionality to serve that purpose. Vevox enhances the way you connect with people before, during, and after events. It's a powerful tool if one takes the time to understand it's functions!

Pros

Vevox is a tool that not only supports with engagement, but has features that one can utilize for a multitude of purposes. Quizzing, anonymous feedback, inspiring conversations, polling. It is a tool that allows users to be engaged and be inclusive - all at the tip of your fingers. I have used Vevox countless times in preparation for a virtual event of all types - informational sessions, trivia sessions, online quizzing, data gathering etc. The Vevox PPT plug-in was a game changer and made life a lot easier to work directly from PPT versus having to create everything from the dashboard and present from browser - super easy to download. It makes presenting and editing while presenting very simple and fluid. I have an internal team that supports the app, as well as externally directly from Vevox available should arise.

Cons

No complaints! If I had to comment on one, it would be connecting to a session via PPT plug in, in the past/legacy, finding the Authentication Code could be a bit difficult, but through entering email and SSO, it has become much easier.

It has transformed my in-class teaching. I build it into each class meeting, and it allows me to engage ALL students at the same time, and not only he students who raise their hand or who I call on.

Pros

Vevox has many, many pros. It has many question types that allow me to engage students in different ways on different material. It also has an excellent Q&A function that allows me to have a back channel with students during class. I appreciate that I can have students identify themselves to me, and I can keep their names hidden from the rest of the class. The question types have very high character limits, so I can include all the text of my questions, as well as images, in the question that students see on their device. The data reports are easy to download in Excel after class, and they give me all the data that I need.

Cons

On my wish list is for Vevox to have a question type that asks students to match items in two different columns.

Cons

Most of the issues we have had in the past have now been addressed with updates. More flexibility with the customisation options would always be nice to help us to closely match our clients brands and designs

Overall Vevox is a really good product and I will continue to use it to increase student interaction in lecture and seminar settings.

Pros

Vevox is a great resource for making University lectures more interactive. There are plenty of options for the creation of questions to test understanding of concepts, and students are able to easily log in from their phones via a QR Code to participate. Results are then available immediately and can easily be shared with the group.

Cons

The integration with MS Powerpoint could be better. There are features enabling slides to be produced in house style, and while this works to a degree, these are not ideal and require quite a bit of further work to blend them into the presentation.

Very happy with the platform, and hope to learn more about it in the future, so that I can get more out of it, both internally and externally.

Pros

The fact that you can use it live, with no limit to the number of attendees/voters. Also, that you can save the answers and re-use the pole as much as you'd like.

Cons

That you have to "jump" between slides/vevox when you are presenting, considering that you loose "momentum" or might loose attendees attention.

I’ve been working with Vevox for three years now, and particularly with \[sensitive content hidden\]. We had a long video call at the beginning to go through the app and the interface, and since then I’ve been using it every year for one of my events. My clients love it — polls, quizzes, and more. I highly recommend this app: it’s complete, easy to use, and fully customizable.

Excellent. I have not found any aspect of the site or the customer service to be lacking. Everyone I have dealt with has helped and given great guidance.

Pros

I love the support team at Vevox as they have always provided the advice and guidance I have needed, in a very timely manner. The team have also ensured that I get value for money and the best out of the product.

Cons

There is nothing about Vevox that I have found that I have not enjoyed. All aspects of the site are fit for my use.

Overall I am pleased with the Vevox product as it has enhanced my sessions - I have always enjoyed technology enhanced tools and Vevox has to be one of the best I have used. I have attended some of the webinars with the latest features, which I have found useful. I like the addition of the AI assistant with the prompts to support if needed. I hope Vevox keeps coming up with new innovative ideas. Just a thought following a session - it would be good if you could use the text feature to come up with scenarios but then get the participants to compartamentalise the answers and put them into various headings such as student A and student B. Thank you for a well-thought out and improved product. I am enjoying using it myself but also training others to utilise the features that Vevox can offer.

Pros

I like the ability to connect Vevox with PowerPoint and run the polls in slideshow mode. I also enjoy having the word cloud now display real time results for the participants and facilitator of the session. Its an engaging tool that allows a high level of interaction.

Cons

The pin on image I find quite confusing so didnt really work for me when presenting. I am also not keen on having two slides in the Powerpoint add in - I think it would be better with just one. Then you could ask more questions without the barrier of having double the slides. Sometimes the slides dont display correctly so I need to move the placeholders around to ensure professionalism and readability.

What I’ve consistently appreciated about Vevox is the passion and responsiveness of the Customer Enablement and Account Management team. Their partnership mindset and commitment to helping customers succeed make a genuine difference. This was a global webcast with over 20,000 live participants joining from China and across the world. It was a technically complex, high-visibility event for bp — and the flawless execution demonstrated Vevox’s ability to deliver at true enterprise scale. This is exactly what sets Vevox apart from native polling tools like Microsoft Polls. The Customer Success team has also been instrumental in ensuring bp gains maximum value from the platform. Whenever colleagues need help preparing polls for workshops or events, Vevox support is consistently fast, expert, and friendly. The feedback we receive internally is overwhelmingly positive — users often describe “lightbulb” moments after their first training, realising how easily Vevox can elevate engagement. These interactions have built lasting confidence across bp’s business units. Vevox’s support resources — documentation, videos, and webinars — are consistently excellent. Regular enablement sessions and digital cafés co-hosted with the team have strengthened stakeholder relationships and surfaced innovative use cases. For example, in bp’s Wells business, Vevox is now routinely used to deliver training quizzes and knowledge checks for hundreds of users before certification exams. The new enhancement that allows participants to save and return to quizzes later has been particularly well received, supporting flexible, self-paced learning. We also continue to see Vevox driving open and inclusive communication during town halls and safety meetings, enabling employees to share views anonymously and foster more transparent dialogue. The PowerPoint integration makes it effortless for presenters to run live polls and capture sentiment without breaking flow. Overall, Vevox remains one of the most user-friendly, reliable, and well-supported tools in bp’s collaboration ecosystem. It’s easy to administer, simple for end users, and backed by a genuinely dedicated vendor team that listens, iterates, and continuously enhances the product based on real customer insight.

Cons

From a product management and enterprise adoption perspective, there is clear potential for Vevox to evolve further particularly in applying AI and data intelligence to strengthen insight generation, scalability, and integration across large organisations. 1. AI-Driven Analytics and Clustering One area with significant potential is AI-assisted data processing during live polling. Currently, the platform provides limited aggregation, and zero automation for interpreting responses at scale. Introducing AI clustering for open-text or word cloud polls would transform the user experience, especially for large town halls. For example, if participants respond “UK,” “United Kingdom,” or “England” to the same question, an AI model could automatically group these into one logical cluster, reducing manual clean-up and improving clarity of insights. This capability would make Vevox far more scalable and competitive against emerging AI-enabled engagement tools, while providing faster feedback loops for presenters. 2. Product Development Cadence The recent enhancement allowing users to save and return to quiz responses has been well received across bp. However, since the last product update (June 2025), progress has appeared slower than expected. It would be helpful to see a more transparent product roadmap, particularly highlighting innovation areas such as AI summarisation, sentiment analysis, and integration updates. Regular “what’s new” sessions or quarterly product briefings for enterprise clients could help maintain excitement and signal continuous improvement. 3. Intelligent Use-Case Insights As an enterprise product owner, I often have to infer how Vevox is being used based on the poll titles or event names provided by hosts. A valuable enhancement would be to build intelligence into the platform that categorises polls automatically (e.g., training, safety, town hall, learning feedback, etc.) based on the questions entered and host confirmation. This would provide product owners and adoption leads with far greater visibility into usage trends and business value, supporting internal reporting and ROI conversations. 4. Deeper Integration with Microsoft 365 Ecosystem While the Teams add-in has improved accessibility, there’s still room for deeper integration and improved reliability during large-scale meetings and webinars. Ideally, users could launch, manage, and review polls directly within Teams meetings or channels without switching interfaces. Strengthening alignment with Microsoft’s evolving Copilot and Viva ecosystems would future-proof Vevox, positioning it as a complementary, AI-ready engagement tool rather than a standalone app. Vevox already excels at usability and customer support. The next step is to focus on AI-driven intelligence, richer analytics, and seamless Microsoft 365 integration. These will unlock scalability for global enterprises, improve data-driven decision-making, and sustain Vevox’s competitive advantage in an AI-augmented world

The integration with power-point was not the best, but I understand that there are new updates which will improve this aspect.

Brilliant. Been using it for 3 years and over that time it's evolved based on my feedback which i love!

Pros

I've been using Vevox for the past three years as part of my professional presentations and events, and it’s been a consistently excellent tool. It helps me create engaging, interactive sessions that keep audiences involved, while also providing a safe and anonymous space for people to ask sensitive questions. One of the biggest benefits is the real-time data and feedback it offers, which I regularly use to shape and improve future presentations. No real cons. I think for some of my co-workers they can feel nervous about using vevox but whenever i've sat down with them and shown them how it works it's always reassured them it is actually that easy.

### "Vevox review"

We only use on certain events and this is very much decided for us by our design team but as a facilitator team we are very happy with the experience and gives our events a mix of activities. I know ,y colleagues all consider using Vevox further when we get to think about implementing the events when they're introduced.

Pros

The anonymous surveys and polls - we no longer have access to Teams polls features and I think it makes a real difference when people can contribute online in this way.

Cons

It's sometimes a little difficult to get people to use it and participate but not a result of the Vevox platform of course.
