I have used Vevox for several years and have seen a number of useful developments in that time. I recently attended some training to see what had changed in the latest update and I am very impressed with some of the new tools. \[sensitive content hidden\], who led the training, was so thorough and gave a great overview of the various ways in which Vevox can be used.

Pros

I use Vevox a lot in my teaching and find it an invaluable tool for engaging those students who may be reluctant to speak out in class. It is simple to set up and can be used for a number of useful purposes in a lecture such as polling students to check their understanding, running live quizzes to reinforce key concepts, gathering anonymous feedback to encourage honest responses, and hosting interactive Q&A sessions that allow all students to participate without worrying about what others will think of their questions.

Cons

There really isn't anything that I don't like about Vevox!

We've been using VEVOX for several years at ALDI, and it's consistently delivered an excellent experience. It's reliable quick and incredibly simple to use, even during our larger scale events. VEVOX has been a helpful tool for our audience engagement and we're glad to have it as part of our event toolkit.

Pros

Simple and efficient tool to use, easy to navigate through menus. Vevox allows for us to make our events more interactive by using the polls, word clouds and other features!

Cons

We'd love for there to be an update where you can have more than one session running at a time as currently you are only able to run one live

It's a very stable/reliable app with intuitive controls and good customisation. The PowerPoint integration has been a really useful feature for the majority of our use cases.

Pros

The option to easily share moderation of the Q&A is great. And to be able to scan a QR code for a chairperson link is really useful.

Cons

An option for breakouts within the same event code would be great to keep it simple for attendees logging in.

I'm so happy with Vevox and I use it in all seminars

Pros

It's easy to use and doesn't require any effort from students to log in. I like using it for formative assessments to understand how my students are doing with their reading. It's better than doing recaps as I can spot any issues with their understanding of key concepts and then spend some time explaining what this theory/concept means.

Cons

Can't think of any. It's well thought of

Overall experience is positive with Vevox and it is adding engagement to our All Colleague Call, \[sensitive content hidden\] is very helpful and ensures we make the most of the subscription.

Pros

The anonymous Q&A feature created a safe and inclusive space where colleagues felt more comfortable asking honest questions and raising topics that might otherwise go unspoken. The ability to surface and prioritise the most‑liked questions ensured discussions focused on what truly mattered to colleagues, rather than being dominated by a small number of voices. Overall, Vevox made large sessions more inclusive, interactive, and genuinely aligned to what colleagues wanted to discuss, significantly improving the quality and value of engagement.

Cons

So far we aren't experiencing any problems with Vevox and exciting to continue to try more functions.

Excellent. The students seem to like it and they enjoy the sessions. I use the leaderboard which can make the experience a bit more gamified.

Pros

I use it in my 4th year finance class. The students seem much more engaged when I use it and it clearly makes a difference to exam performance

Cons

I can't export the questions from a session, which is unfortunate. The students like the questions so much they want to see them again for practice. It seems hard to provide that.

As a church, we have found Vevox very helpful for congregation engagement and participation in messages as well as during special events for Q&A sessions where people can submit and vote for questions to be answered.

Pros

I love the ease of use for setting up Vevox as well as easy use for participants; especially love the feature of being able to have people 'vote' for questions to be answered in a Q&A setting.

Cons

It is difficult to find something; if anything, some of the customization of graphics could use some tweaking but it's minor.

My overall experience is very good so far, as mentioned earlier I like how easy and intuitive is to use.

Pros

I find Vevox very intuitive and easy to use. I like how you can create questions from the web application but also directly from PowerPoint which is where is use it most and student feedback has also been good so far

Cons

PowerPoint integration is not the best. Vevox polls look great on the web version but when you try to create slides within a presentation they are not easy to edit/modify to adapt to your slides (so for example it is not possible to integrate the question easily within a slide with information and while it can potentially be done it takes a lot of extra work, especially because you will need to do it twice!)

My experience may be different to other users in my organisation. As a system administrator, my experience is more around testing the tool and its capabilities, as opposed to running polls etc. for end users to partake in. So, in terms of the system administrator side of Vevox, it's extremely straightforward. Rich data is only a few clicks away, configuration (SSO/LTI etc.) also only takes a few minutes to be set up and the product itself is extremely intuitive to just dive in and get creating some engaging content.

Pros

Super intuitive for creators and end-user(s), great analytics that are available to system administrators, and being able to use Vevox via the LMS for asynchronous learning is also fantastic! Not to mention that the support staff are amazing :)

Cons

There isn't a feature (or lack thereof) within Vevox that makes you think "this could be much better" or, "this is really needed in Vevox". The tool does what it is designed to do.

Used for many years and have enjoyed the general functionality when compared to similar products. Styles of Polls and Quizzes are a big bonus and the general ease of use for attendees great.

Pros

Ease of use, reliability and functionality. Very powerful Q&A tool, with a moderated display that can be put on an iPad to control questions going to the stage.

Cons

Removal of support for the legacy PPT Add in. The new PPT add in is just the mainscreen display as opposed to being a redesign of the old one.

The platform is user-friendly, offering live polling, Q&A, and Word Clouds that enhance student engagement in both face-2-face and online teaching. Vevox has greatly improved interaction in our courses, and I highly recommend it to educators looking for an effective student response platform!

Cons

My team and I were impressed with the service we got from Vevox. On reaching out with an enquiry, we received replies back within a day. I had very specific questions to ascertain the suitability of Vevox for a client program we wanted to run. \[sensitive content hidden\] from the Vevox team answered my questions directly, succinctly and promptly. I felt like I was speaking to people who knew their stuff and understand how to talk about what their product can offer. Importantly, they were able to provide suggestions on how to utilize their platform, and solutions to achieve our goals. Particularly appreciate \[sensitive content hidden\] who jumped onto a demo with us last minute, spending an hour helping us to understand Vevox’s functionalities. This gave us good insights into the platform’s capabilities, which went a long way towards enabling us to build a solid experience for our client event. Most of all, I was pleasantly surprised by \[sensitive content hidden\] approach in understanding our objectives and program design, before answering any technical questions. As a consultant myself, this to me is a definitive aspect of our experience that makes Vevox stand out. If only all service platforms were as responsive and helpful! Some functionalities could be improved (e.g. show the number of votes in the Ranking polls, where currently one can only see how choices are ranked but not the number of votes for each choice). Hope to see Vevox expand its capabilities.

### "Vevox Bring the Team Together"

We use Vevox at the end of each session. It provides an opportunity to have fun while recapping vocabulary, inspiring conversation, and even checking on how the participants felt at the end of the day. The game-like format makes it fun, fast paced, and even competitive at times. The group remains engaged, laughing, and sometimes even yelling enthusiastically as the time runs out!

Pros

Vevox is easy to use on various devices and for participants of all ages (13-60)!

Cons

The only con was the music. If the game is played often the music can feel like torture. We have recently learned how to change from the default soundtrack and select from the others so I think this problem will be QUICKLY resolved!

very useful tool to get multiple opinions, ensure active engagement, reach larger audiences and received unfiltered responses.

Pros

good active involvement of audience. It helps getting the quieter voices heard as well as people can give their opinion anonymously.

Cons

I had it freeze one time during a large townhall on my laptop. I was still able to direct it from my mobile luckily. This does stress the importance of have a back-up in the meeting who can also steer and use Vevox.

Pros

The anonymous feature I believe it helps when raising sensitive questions/topics. Also the interactive side of Vevox.

Cons

An interaction between Vevox and Vevox app, sometimes its difficult to navigate between the two, some integration between both platforms would be great.
