Training and Events Assistant Manager Medical Devices Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Exceptional product, exceptional support" September 25, 2024 5.0 We started using Vevox about three years ago for a 250 person conference so we could run polls and a Q&A to our audience, to keep them engaged and also collect data from them. This was a last minute decision and the team at Vevox were exceptional to get us set up swiftly, and help us with integrating it into our slides for a seamless show. Since then we have used it every year at our conferences, last year on a 600 attendee roadshow over 11 days. Even now, the team still reach out to offer support and check we are still using Vevox to it's full potential. Pros The support offered by the exceptional team is second to none. The product itself is also incredibly easy to use, and very brandable which is perfect for using at our annual conferences. Cons Nothing - They are the best on price, support, and ease to use. December 2, 2024 5.0 I downloaded the data report and was delighted that the Survey Results Excel worksheet was neatly laid out and required no formatting apart from minimal text wrapping. Over in the Brightspace Grades tool (hidden from students) I could see that the full marks were applied to each student, and I was easily able to adjust the default mark as necessary during the module grading process. When ready to release the marks, I wrote a generic message and unhid the assignment in Brightspace. Pros I loved the format of the Excel file once survey results were downloaded. There was literally no tweaking required in order to assess my students' work. Cons I was of the understanding that a single Vevox session would suffice for my module's work across polls and surveys. The reason that this did not work may have been because class polls were anonymous and the class survey I set was identified. If this is the case then a separate session was an easy fix for me, once I figured out what was happening. Review Source AR Andrew R. Cons The team moderating the questions could not push the questions to the Q&A panel privately and was unable to search quickly for specific questions during the session. " October 21, 2024 5.0 As an HE institute, Vevox had been a great tool for Academics during teaching sessions, as it has allowed them to improve engagement in their sessions, get real-time feedback from students, and assists them in ensuring their students are following and understanding the content and which topics may require revisiting. Pros Vevox provides an excellent service for improving interactivity in teaching sessions, and is also great for use in meetings to gain instant feedback from attendees. I used to receive an email detailing any updates or new features which was really helpful as I am rarely able to join any calls. As participants submit their responses, the cloud updates in real time. - I love the simplicity of running polls, they keep everyone engaged and allow me to determine where people are at with their understanding in real time. - My audience can participate in Q&A sessions very smoothly. - Easy to use surveys. Quick and easy to set up - essential for evaluation of sessions. Cons I was nervous of getting started with using the platform. I was afraid that I would break it. We have used Vevox as part of Webex, as well as as part of MS Teams and every time the experience has been user friendly and analytics rich. Having a reliable interactivity platform can elevate any event experience, so we are very happy with Vevox! Pros Our team, client and event attendee really like the fact that Vevox is intuitive and easy to use with enough of a variety for question types. For us, event organisers, it also provides in depth result analytics which helps us shape our questions for future webinars. We like that it's not app dependent and can be accessed via QR scan, link or by typing in a number. The platform integrations are crucial and Vevox integrates with both MS Teams and Webex where most of our clients host meetings Cons There aren't any cons as such, what we would love to be improved is the polls pop ups to be the same as the MS Teams ones, ie in the middle of the screen, but appreciate that this might be limited by MS Teams technology. Another thing that we would like to see is for the questions to be integrated into PPT, so speakers could interact with those live. Pros Vevox is a very useful tool for our business - our association holds yearly events with over 200 people in attendance, and Vevox's interactive polling software allows us to keep the attendees engaged during presentations.
