### "Great product that just works straight off the shelf!"

Really good, great support - lots of effort has been put into its deployment within different meeting types.

Pros

Ease of use and ability to learn it very fast. Incredibly stable and good value for money.

Cons

Small lack of customisation when it comes to renaming components in the app but that is a very niche thing that we do with it.

### "Great for team meetings"

See "cons" above. Overall, I really like Vevox. I think it's a great option to use when running meetings and keeps audience engagement high. I really like the poll questions that can be imported. I have used several of those for icebreakers or trivia games. Adding more of those, and/or updating them periodically based on whatever is going on in the world would be great.

Pros

My favorite part of Vevox is the recent Microsoft Teams add-in. It makes using it within our meetings seamless. Participants are more likely to fill out polls or surveys directly through the Teams add-in vs using their mobile phone or on a web browser. It also makes our team meetings more fun and interactive.

Cons

As person running my Teams meeting and the Vevox, it is not always clear to me what the participants "see" on their screen. I think this could be made more clear in future updates. Also, the Powerpoint add-in is not that easy to use. I initially tried using it and would get frustrated because I can't share my powerpoint on Teams the way I am used to. I have to share my PPT window, run the slideshow, etc., Then as the sole meeting moderator and Vevox person, I get overwhelmed and not sure what people are seeing. Perhaps I just need to get someone on my team to assist me, but that's not always possible.

Very good. From the demo by Customer Rep (\[sensitive content hidden\]) to the support afterwards I have had a very positive experience and have recommended Vevox to my colleagues.

Pros

I love the fact that Vevox does in one application what it takes a number of other applications to do. Previously I used a number of applications together with MS PowerPoint to present on a subject, toggle to another application, get audience feedback to gauge understanding, and then toggle back to PowerPoint. It was messy. Vevox does it all in one - it integrates seamlessly with MS PowerPoint - there is no need to open multiple applications. Presentations are much smoother and engaging.

Cons

There isn't anything I don't like. There are lots of other features that help engage the audience. I have no complaints.

### "I love Vevox, I just wish it was better "

Pros

I really like how easy to use the product is, and how well it integrates with Webex. It's a joy to train others in the firm on it, and it offers a wide range of interactivity functions to elevate even the most boring meetings/presentations

Cons

Where the integration with Webex fails, as it has done recently - usually around upgrades - this has cause problems. The fact that similar functionality does not exist to a usable level with Zoom or Teams is another concern. The pricing model is confusing to explain to new users, and a barrier to their using the product. It would be great to have weighted voting. I also am keen to see the swift return of authenticated logins for attendees, and not just having to use the 'Legacy' platform, as that's a key one for our big events.

### "Vevox - a great tool to make training and meetings more engaging"

I really like Vevox and have received some many positive comments from users that it has made a massive difference in their enjoyment and understanding of the training sessions being delivered. The UI is simple to understand, and it is quick and simple to log in. I have found the tool to work effectively with all users even when on a global call. I would fully recommend Vevox if you are trying to improve your meeting / training engagement. I also really enjoy that polling allows you to gage understanding of a topic in real-time, if something scores low, I know I need to repeat the learnings for people.

Pros

Vevox has made online training webinars much more enjoyable and more interactive, especially at a time when face to face training is not possible. People are more engaged and learning more as a result, meaning that landing messages is much more efficient. People are also able to ask question anonymously, meaning they are far more engaged and willing to ask any questions without fear of feeling stupid, this has also massively increased engagement & understanding.

Cons

There are sometimes occasional freezes with the system that can be embarrassing if leading a training session with a large number of people. however this could be my laptop rather than the Vevox software itself

### "Overall good experience"

We were very satisfied, but decided we needed simultanious sessions.

Pros

We loved the simplicity of using Vevox. The interface is very user friendly, and our clients were also satisfied.

Cons

We bought one account, with two emails. We needed to have two, separate sessions, simultaniously. Our trainers travel and sometimes we need to use vevox from two different locations and for two different groups..but we need all the results in the same account. This is not something you provide, but we got the plan, after advising with a member of your support staff. It was a misunterstanding.

Reason for choosing Vevox

Pricing and simplicity. Alternatives had many options, but we just wouldn't use them.

### "Vevox Feedback"

Vevox has certainly helped us in what we do and when we have contacted the Support Team they have been great. Generally recommend them to others but with the caveat it can be a little erratic.

Pros

Vevox helps us create some active content in online courses that can be sometimes a little dry. It helps assess delegate participation and understanding. It also allows Trainers to see if someone is not quite fully understanding an aspect of the course but without any embarrassment from the attending delegates as it is all anonymous.

Cons

It can still be somewhat "erratic" and doesn't always decide to play ball. The trainers who use it are now used to ad-libbing when Vevox doesn't play ball but it wold be good if we could rely on it 100%.

Reason for choosing Vevox

I personally preferred the ease of setting up with Vevox over Slidio

### "Vevox - An excellent polling solution"

Excellent - I get to engage fully with the class and break up the periods of me droning on with some fun activities.

Pros

It's simplicity of use, that fact that I can whip up a quiz in no time. The changes to the QR code so I don't have to mess around with 9/10 figure meeting IDs is great. And the fact it all works so seemlessly.

Cons

The new sounds that accompany the running of the polling question - that's not to say I don't like them, but in the last few seconds it could do with having someting 'crescendo'y. I know, not the biggest issue, but it would be helpful particularly with the more simple 'ticking clock' options.

### "Simple and powerful"

Fantastic - a great partner who is open minded whilst focused on their USP.

Pros

A team and product that understands event planners and attendees all at the same time. Well paced developments also move along with the times, without losing focus of their USP. I wish more solutions did this.

Cons

I've shared with the team I would love more options to visualise the data output from poll/surveys... a little more dynamism would keep the attendees even more glued to the polls etc

Vevox does have a pre-defined profanity filter which you can turn on for your sessions, but if this does not filter out the words you have seen appear, there is an administrator setting where you can filter out specific words/sentences on word cloud and open text polls. This can be done whilst your polls are running, but only if you have administrator access to the session. ### "Software is great, but the people are what sold us"

Audience engagement and live data collection for events with clients.

Pros

The software functions well, and is easy to use. \[sensitive content hidden\] is the reason we continuned using Vevox in 2023, and beyond. She is incredible.

Cons

Having to download the powerpoint plugin on each individual computer to use those features. It would be better if this was stored in the presentation file itself, since the device used to make presentations and give presentations are rarely the same.

Reason for choosing Vevox

I can't remember who else we looked at using, but I do remember that \[sensitive content hidden\] were better than everyone else we talked to. The demos were better, they answered questions more concretely, and were a pleasure to work with. \[sensitive content hidden\] sold me on originally choosing Vevox, and \[sensitive content hidden\] has sold me on continuing to use Vevox, more so than any features of the software.

### "Using vevox in support of teaching"

I really like vevox as a interactive tool to gather independent (and group) responses. It is easy to set up and use, and also really easy for people to access polls/surveys that you make live. I have found it useful as a way of encouraging 'audience participation' and getting (and giving) immediate feedback. I have found it a useful tool to support learners while they are studying materials independently.

Pros

I like the ability to run polls & surveys in real-time sessions but also the ability to run surveys to support asynchronous learning (i.e. independent study). This has enabled me to increase engagement during live sessions, and get and give immediate feedback to learners. It has also enabled me to support learning & engagement in between live sessions. The ability to set up a monitored question board has also been helpful during live sessions, and also in between sessions.

Cons

There is a slight variation in the question types between polls & surveys - the 'word cloud' feature is useful with the poll format (although not available in 'survey').

### "A great, easy and cheap way to provide interactivity in a meeting"

We use them when clients ask for an interactive option not too expensive or when they call us for a meeting in the same week and no time for bringing clickers. Also in a showroom to energize it with Vevox instaled in several tablets.

Pros

It's very friendly to program and to teach to program. It is absdolutelu reliable and easy dor set up. I use it in events with 450 users and no wifi, just 3-4G working as web-app. I like I can reuse scheduled questions and surveys and a tablet to receive the questions from the audience. The power point add-in it is very useful and easy to program.

Cons

I think they are working on it but at this moment there isn't scoring questions for quizzes and some clients ask for it. Hope this will arrive soon. They ask customers for feedback and make changes in the app keeping it simple.

Very easy to use, for us to programme and intuitive for users from the welcome screen to all the types of interaction the system offers. Its has been a very quick and simple transfer over fromour previous approved solution - PollEverywhere.

Pros

Very easy to use in a wide variety of situations from simply upvoting questions to a full blown quiz either integrated into Teams or as an add-in to PowerPoint it works very well and is easy to use for everyone. Really like the customisation possibilities on the home users home page. Looks very professional and easy to fit the look and feel of the event.

Cons

I think the could be better selection possibilities when showing a results slide so its not always cumulative.

Simple to use. Really excellent support and onboarding from the Vevox team. Its a UK based product and its so good to be able to engage with the Vevox team.

The overall experience has been amazing, we have confidence in Vevox that it will enable us to make a session or meeting more interactive, resulting in higher engagement through the different features or capabilities it offers.

Pros

It has all the basic features required to engage audience, in runtime during during meetings or events & even when you want inputs when not in a live session. Its helps you to set up a session and customize it really quickly, so ease of use is a major advantage here.

Cons

There can be more customization with respect to Themes and more default backgrounds for sessions can be offered by the platform. Also, it would be great to have more smoother integration with Powerpoint and with google slides to incorporate a more integral experience when running sessions and presenting Vevox activities.

### "Vevox makes meetings and forums engaging."

Pros

Vevox is super easy to use, and provides great functionality in their polls and q&a software. People are blown away when I set up a Vevox for a meeting when it only takes me like 15 minutes :') the ability to have anonymous questions and comments during large meetings is really helpful to understand honest concerns & sticky questions, and the polls act as great catalysts for conversation and a great way to quickly gather data. The survey functionality makes Vevox a complete end to end product for meeting planning.

Cons

An option to make profiles optional for the attendees would be great, maybe some more functionality on the survey portion would be nice too e.g being able to make ratings from 1-10 instead of 1-5, ability to insert dates or $ amounts, matrix style rating with multiple statements and then 'agree' 'disagree' etc.

### "Great tool for anonymous feedback during virtual meetings"

Overall, I think it's a wonderful, user-friendly platform with great functionality

Pros

Vevox gives our employees a voice. Most importantly, they can give anonymous feedback that can be addressed in large meetings.

Cons

I would really appreciate it if Vevox could be integrated within Teams. It is highly frustrating having to share my screen on these large meetings and once in this Vevox screen, being unable to see on Teams if people are asking questions or raising hands without constantly having to flick between screens. The poll function for administrators could be a lot clearer. I find it hard to see if I have run the poll correctly for the audience and then stop the poll to then reveal the answers - it's all controlled at the bottom of the Vevox screen and just not very clear.

### "Vevox use for audience interaction "

Excellent tool, it is vital for use in blended learning to engage the audience in the session. Vevox allows me to interact with the learners on a teams session in a completely different way.

Pros

Very easy to use and set up and can also integrate easily into my lectures

Cons

Does have a bit of learning curve when you first use the system.

Pros

it is a good tool to gather people votes, have Q&A (good to see the most liked question), the poll questions are useful, it helps create interaction remotely

Cons

app not very easy to use, little selection of backgrounds, and not very appealing, interface is not so easy to use i didn't find how to include power point slides, overall i'm sorry to report that i preferred using Mentimeter and i've had to adapt to Vevox as my subscription was not renewed, i hope this will help you improve this tool that has a good potential with a few adjustments i'll give a much better review :-)

### "Better than Zoom!"

Vevox is a great product. It functions very well and is completely reliable. I'm glad my company has started using it. I would recommend others try it, for sure.

Pros

We had a very large group of people participating in a virtual training seminar and the audio and video was absolutely perfect. Using similar but different apps in the past, I did not have as good of an experience.

Cons

I have not come across any issues in using Vevox. The links worked, the meetings were easy to join, many people used different devices and had no issues connecting.
