\- Improved employee engagement and audience participation - Anonymous Q&A and the ability to like/priorities comments is what sets Vevox apart from MS Teams Live events.

Pros

I really enjoy using the PowerPoint add-in, it makes my presentations way more interactive and engaging. The install and set up was very self explanatory and i was able to share this with other employees too. I have nothing but good feedback from my team when i use the install.

Cons

I would like to see the ability to perhaps dislike a comment in a live q&a or flag as inappropriate?

### "Perfect for garnering opinion and discussion in lockdown's virtual meetings."

Pros

Colleagues found it easy to download on a separate device to their laptop; whilst as meeting organiser I found the 'single-sign-on' (due to pharma company purchase of licence) easy on my laptop for 'creation' of the meeting and getting the poll questions ready etc. Even uploaded the meeting promotional slide pic to the 'front' so people instantly 'saw' they were in the right meeting. Poll creation is easy with a load of classic poll answers to 'import' so I used these. It was good to have visibility of percentage logged on and answering- when got to 95% happy to close and push the results into a neat table. They could all see this - so worked well. Our employees are always very vociferous and questions started coming in throughout the meeting. Good to see duplicate ideas kept to a minimum by the 'like' vote functionality. Plus my ability to 'hive them off' to an archive once they'd been dealt with - keeping the amount of text to read (when it's on a mobile)down to a minimum. I haven't used the wordcloud or more importantly the survey function yet - but will be excited to try that next, judging by the success of the polls and questions aspect.

Cons

With the questions being less able to be duplicated or kept to a minimum by the 'like' vote functionality, it was a little irritating that the 'most liked' ones didn't 'rise to the top' so to speak

### "Very useful technology enhanced learning tool"

Vevox is a very useful technology enhanced learning tool easily accessible on smart devices. I have used it for over four years now to improve student engagement during synchronous and face-to-face sessions and it has always proven effective. I mostly use the MCQ and fill-in-the-gap features for undergraduate modules. Very useful tool in formative assessments especially when teaching a large group. It is VERY easy to use!

Pros

Very easy to use. Quick in displaying results, statistics which can be shared with students.

Cons

Previously the basic version allowed more features than MCQs and then it was stopped. I would suggest customers are informed before some features are removed from a plan perhaps by email.

### "Excellent tool for receiving feedback and engagement of staff"

I find this tool one of the easiest to use for staff engagement during Town Halls and performing surveys. It's also helpful that you can integrate a Vevox session into a Teams Meeting making it easier for the audience to participate without having to leave the Teams meeting to go to the web site.

### "Vevox for post conference surveys"

Vevox helps with employee engagement through polls and quizzes and brings fun to the workplace.

Pros

It's easy to generate polls and surveys. If you need to use the same surveys for another meeting, you can duplicate the original survey, which is time efficient as I do not need to recreate it.

Cons

Not least like but perhaps an area for improvement. If there is an option for Vevox to incorporate some form of "error" that does not allow an individual to exit the survey without completing it fully. The reports I download will show individuals' names, but some do not participate in the survey, which becomes a "blank" survey.

The main advantage over MS Teams is the ability to submit questions ahead of a meeting and being able to submit them anonymously. The ability to vote on them so the Meeting Organiser can gauge which questions to prioritise is good too and but this feature is also available in MS Teams.

Pros

Like the ability to use both a PC or mobile app to access the software and use it live during a meeting allowing greater engagement with live prioritising of questions via voting from attendees. Questions can be added anonymously allowing greater openness and freedom by attendees to ask questions they may prefer not to put their name to.

Cons

On one occasion, I did confuse the Dashboard link with the Attendee link which meant during the meeting, people were unable to enter questions and they didn't appear anonymously. I had to contact the Helpdesk for assistance. I was unaware I had sent the wrong link. Assistance was immediate and well directed which allowed me to make the change behind the scenes unbeknown to attendees and when asked to submit questions, all were able to and the meeting ran to time, still giving people the opportunity to submit questions and have them answered.

Started out adding interactivity to lockdown Zoom sessions with students. Now I use it routinely.

Pros

The PowerPoint integration is the winner for me. I can add Vevox polls and surveys directly into my PowerPoint presentations with consummate ease.

Cons

Perhaps some additional presentation capabilities would be welcome.

Reason for choosing Vevox

I never used Mentimeter, although I had been exposed to it by colleagues, but when it came to an institutional licence I did argue that Vevox seemed to me to be the better product and fortunately the University agreed.

### "Everything you need in a polling app"

My experience with using Vevox has only been positive. Audience members find it very easy to use because the interface is very intuitive and simple to use. I have been lucky where all the venues I have worked at, have had excellent Wi-fi. This is very important to know in advance. The Vevox meetings I have worked have enjoyed excellent response rates from the polling and voting. The Q&A feature is great and so pleasing when many comments and questions are sent. At the start of some meetings, we use the word cloud feature. This is a fun way to get the audience used to using Vevox and works as a great ice-breaker.

Pros

Vevox has an excellent PowerPoint add-in. As an event technology specialist, this is a feature I use monthly. The events I work at have PowerPoint templates which I can integrate with polling slides. This means I can match my polling slides with presenter's existing slides. We also use the Q&A feature at every event. This is a very simple way for audience members to send in questions and comments to presenters. Questions sent can be moderated if desired- another useful tool

Cons

Vevox is a fantastic tool for individual quizzers and track their scores. However, it is not possible to do team quizzes yet but I believe this is something their research people are looking into.

Good, could improve in some configurations need to be done by the users.

Pros

Integration with powerpoint, real time results, easy to use

Cons

In the first set-up is not so user friendly regarding all the formats or setups. It is fast to use if you do not want to personalize to your images or meetings but if you want to have a specific image of the meeting is not easy. Also should offer the possibility of having different sessions voting or Q&A under the same meeting, could not find how to do it.

A very good experience, with a large number of academics engaging well with the product.

Pros

Vevox has helped to provide engaging spaces for our learners both face to face and online. It helped transition the online Zoom chat into the classroom space and give academics the chance to challenge and engage their students.

Cons

While in development, the fact that Mac users and Office 365 users could not use Vevox was annoying. However, this feature is in the works and will help include all staff within our licence.

Great experience, I rely on Vevox every month to deliver seamless Townhall meeting and not even once did i get disappointed.

Pros

The application is very easy to use for both the administrator and the end users. It offers great features for the administrator to ensure that the meeting are running smoothly and help with record keeping as you can always go back to check the records of previous sessions.

Cons

I love everything about it. I wish the app had more game friendly feature that can help with engagement like games that groups can play.

Accesibility, how easily it operates on mobile, everything is super intuitive for the user! the customer service is magnificent, no one is left with unanswered queries :)

Cons

I only set up a Vevox session once which was long time ago, the setup was a little difficult as I recall. Even now I tried to look up on your page and on first impression I dont see the option to start a session (?) or maybe im missing something. For sure its easier for frequent users of this option :) Product is still great

### "Vevox used in remote HCP training"

Vevox is an easy to use software, with user friendly features and applications. A great solution to make PowerPoint presentations, meetings and training events more interactive and fun, even if they need to be done remotely.

Pros

We're using Vevox in place of a tool that only allowed us polling with the use of a small, handheld device without the option of transferring it to digital for remote training. Vevox is the perfect alternative that is easy to use both from the aspect of the administrator and from the end-user aspect. The software enables us to incorporate polling into training presentations easily and without the need to re-create the presentation slides, as it is integrated into Microsoft PowerPoint. Creating polling slides and comparing results is done effortlessly, and the data can be easily lifted for analysis at the end. It's great that the user experience can be personalised. As a new user of Vevox, I haven't had the chance to explore all the features yet, but so far it has been an exceptionally good experience. The training provided at the beginning is much needed, but after the initial hurdles using the software is fairly intuitive. There's also great customer support at hand, even on short notice, for example when I had trouble shortly before a presentation.

Cons

So far the software has delivered what's expected, so there isn't anything I feel is missing.

Overall, Vevox is a useful tool that is taking into consideration the up and coming virtual/hybrid conferences and meetings.

Pros

I really appreciate how each session has a code and a QR code. It gives participants the option to choose how they want to join a session. I also like the ability to manage questions as a facilitator using labels. It's efficient and beneficial.

Cons

The feature that I believe needs improvement is the tabs along the top of the home page. From my experience with other users, it can be confusing. If a user were to join the session and have to go to the survey, they're directly (as a default) to the home page. They would need to navigate to the logo. Some users would assume that the survey wasn't opened or they had pressed on the wrong link. Currently with the Vevox integration, it seems to be the same as well. It isn't a seamless experience to go from the poll questions, to the survey, and back to the polls.

Vevox have fantastic customer support and their team feels like an extension of our own. I love that they are always working on the user experience and then take the time to share any updates with us. They are excited about their product and they love sharing it with us. Working in education, I particularly value the pedagogy webinars where other educators share how and why they are using Vevox. These always leave me with lots to think about and lots of ideas to share with others.

Pros

Vevox is easy to use and offers a great range of options to engage learners (colleagues, audiences etc). Having seen it in action, I can say that it makes a world of difference. Participants are willing to enter responses (the anonymity feature can be key here) and this allows the host to really find out what their participants think or know, and then to respond. If you are stuck for ideas, or reasons to use it, then have a look at their You Tube channel. I'm a huge fan of their pedagogy series and if you look through you will find out just why I think Vevox can be a magic wand in our virtual, digital, and face to face lessons, meetings, conferences....

Cons

There is nothing at all that I want to add here.

Our overall experience with Vevox is good, the constant engament with us asking what they can do to help improve there service for us is what keeps us with them.

Pros

What we liked most about Vevox here at the college is its ease of use. The menu for both the user and admin is very simple and well thought out, allowing for effective use without extensive training.

Cons

What we least liked about the software is its lack of socil media use.

Extremely positive and helpful.

Pros

The support from the team was 5 star, they supported from enquiries to implementation and were extremely flexible. The system was easy to use and adaptable to project changes and was a huge help in collecting data for our project.

The license was unfortunately cancelled within our team due to cost.
