Its easy to use. Pros Its quick and easy, simple to use. I usually complete my VAT return very swiftly and upload it easily. Cons I fell foul of making a return one time and got fined by HMRC, because I altered the name of the tab. I didn't notice the warning on 123Sheets, maybe could have done more to make sure I couldn't do that? Simple spreadsheet so I can transcribe the accounting figures. The frontaccounting.com package I use allows me to construct custom reports - which some of the packages that bundle submission to HMRC don't. The website is easy to navigate and the VAT submission process is literally 4 steps. Can't get much simpler than that. Pros The thing I like best is the simplicity of the service for filing UK VAT. I download a spreadsheet template fill it in with my company info and then upload and submit. Quick and easy Cons It was difficult to find out about the company as the UK Gov has a long list of recommended providers for filing VAT. I suppose they could create a spreadsheet directly in the web portal, which would save sometime in submission. But if you're a company with lot's of sales to report the current external spreadsheet method probably makes the most sense. It gives you quick links to spreadsheet templates and filing returns takes about 5 minutes. This is one of the few software products that I renew every year without a thought because it saves me so much time, and with the receipt confirmations and reauthentication every few months, I trust it with my data. Pros Its quick and easy integration with the HMRC website makes filing VAT returns extremely quick and easy. Cons Nothing to dislike at all about 123 Sheets.
