It gives you quick links to spreadsheet templates and filing returns takes about 5 minutes. This is one of the few software products that I renew every year without a thought because it saves me so much time, and with the receipt confirmations and reauthentication every few months, I trust it with my data. Pros Its quick and easy integration with the HMRC website makes filing VAT returns extremely quick and easy. Cons Nothing to dislike at all about 123 Sheets. I've been using the product for years and there has never been a glitch. The website is easy to navigate and the VAT submission process is literally 4 steps. Can't get much simpler than that. Pros The thing I like best is the simplicity of the service for filing UK VAT. I download a spreadsheet template fill it in with my company info and then upload and submit. Quick and easy Cons It was difficult to find out about the company as the UK Gov has a long list of recommended providers for filing VAT. I suppose they could create a spreadsheet directly in the web portal, which would save sometime in submission. But if you're a company with lot's of sales to report the current external spreadsheet method probably makes the most sense. Review Source MR Mike R. I had a query regarding something to do with HMRC and they got back to me by e-mail very quickly and helped me sort it out. No complaints whatsoever! Cons The main problem I have is that we are a small business and submit VAT quarterly so I then have to try and remember what I did 3 months ago. The video help is quite good but I always struggle with the first stage. Maybe somewhere mention that you have to enter the figures on the mtd-spreadsheet first and then choose the file to upload. I always start by clicking chose a file thinking I need to choose my own spreadsheet and then struggle. I get there in the end. Reason for choosing 123 Sheets Our accountant recommended it.
