Cons Would be nice to have more styling and detail options for the button and popup. Reason for choosing WP Simple Pay The price point was very affordable and it looked legit and professional. With that said I think this is for more advanced developers and designers. I do not believe the average person would be able to implement this into their website with out help. Pros I enjoyed the overall concept and understood the functions of Simplepay. As the name suggests it makes it easier for your clients to pay you for services rendered. I did find though that it was not easy to implement into Wordpress as it was advertised. Even with all the tutorials, I seemed to struggle with full implementation. I bought the software and unfortunately have been using paypal because I never got it running. Cons I still am trying to figure out how to fully implement this into my current WordPress site. It would be helpful to have a video tutorial. Reason for choosing WP Simple Pay It advertised the ease of use and also because it kept the customer on your website instead of directing them somewhere else. WP Simple Pay is what it says it is: a simple way for people to pay, or in our case, for donors to donate. Cons When people set up a re-occurring payment, they should be able to choose the day when they want the re-occuring payment to come out instead of it just automatically starting on the day they set it up. Content Creator Motion Pictures and Film Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Easy Process For A Non-Web Designer" March 27, 2020 5.0 I am a video producer that has ventured out to make my own online course which was intimidating enough, but then to try to figure out how to take payments and get the product to customers made me super nervous because I'm not a web designer or a smart guy that knows a lot of code and stuff, so my biggest worry was that there'd be a lot of technical errors that I wouldn't know how to fix and I'd have a long list of angry customers, but that hasn't been the case at all. I've been able to set it and forget it for the most part. Pros I like that it is simple, there's not very much to mess up in the process, and it seems to just work - I haven't had any issues with it malfunctioning on the website. Cons I wish it was easier to customize the "Buy Now" buttons. I'd really like to resize it and have the option to put my own text inside of only having "Buy Now". Reason for choosing WP Simple Pay This seemed like the simplest solution & I wanted to pick whichever service looked like it would make my life the easiest. As I had questions about set up, or if I didn't understand something, I used their email system of customer service and ALWAYS got a timely and quality response. I'm very pleased with their service. Pros WP Simple Pay is pretty straight forward to set up in WordPress. I've used it to process my Stripe donations on our Non-Profit website for over two years now. I have not had one single issue of non-functionality since implementing! Cons I have nothing negative to say about WP Simple Pay. Pros Easy to ese, easy to set up, always works, versatile in accepting different types of payments, didn't need to jump through hoops to use it. I could not run a business without WP Simple Pay Cons Setting up confirmation emails and that kind of thing could be easier but, hey, I spent three years of bangingy head on the wall trying to get PayPal to work and it never did. WP Simple Pay is a breeze. Cons When first purchased, the features were limited...but that has been resolved and it is now one of the top (if not the top) way to take payments on your WordPress website. Cons The price maybe not as competitive as other competitors. Switched from [QuickBooks Online](https://www.capterra.com/p/190778/QuickBooks-Online/) The cost of Quickbooks and the way I was treated when I tried to update from a program to online, Quickbooks made it impossible to use the same program I had to what they had online. They exploited a loophole and when I confronted the salesperson, they told me that online cost more, and that what I was using was not available, anymore. They basically did a switch and bait. They all work smoothly and have a clean, modern appearance. The developers seem to keep up to standards that enable higher levels of security in the transactions. Cons I am not always sure how to control positioning. It does depend on which format of presentation one is using, but I have been able to get the effect I wanted by relatively simple use of div or CSS.
