### "A Practical Vulnerability Management Solution: My Experience with ManageEngine VMP Plus"

April 23, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with has been overwhelmingly positive. The ability to scan, prioritize, and patch vulnerabilities from a single console significantly streamlined our security operations. My overall experience with ManageEngine Vulnerability Manager Plus has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly for organizations seeking a unified, cost-effective platform.

Pros

I like its tight integration with patch management. this allows to remediate directly with the same console

Cons

It lacks some of the advanced analytics, machine learning-driven risk prediction, or proactive threat-hunting features. customizing report layouts, branding, or exporting to specific formats sometimes requires workarounds.

### "Comprehensive Vulnerability Management with Strong Automation"

July 3, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with was positive. It provided a comprehensive set of tools for identifying, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities across endpoints from a centralized console. The automated patch management, detailed reporting, and compliance features helped simplify routine security tasks and improve visibility into the organization's security posture. While there was a bit of a learning curve initially and some advanced features required additional configuration, the platform proved to be reliable and effective for ongoing vulnerability management.

Pros

What I liked most about was its centralized approach to vulnerability management. It combines vulnerability assessment, automated patch management, misconfiguration detection, and compliance reporting in a single platform, making it easier to identify, prioritize, and remediate security risks. The intuitive dashboard and detailed reporting also provide clear visibility into an organization's security posture, helping streamline vulnerability management workflows.

Cons

What I liked least about was that some advanced features require a learning curve, especially for new users. The interface can feel overwhelming at first due to the number of available options, and large-scale vulnerability scans may take longer to complete in complex environments. Additionally, certain advanced capabilities are only available in higher-tier editions, which can increase costs for smaller organizations.

### "Nice Tool for patching Windows servers"

February 10, 2026

3.0

I like the tool but the support should be more proactive and reactive for emails or via chat window.

Pros

Vulnerability Score and Patch readily available for Zero day vulnerabilities. APD and Manual deployments are very useful for patching during maintenance window.

Cons

Scheduled deployment gets failed and status keeps showing Yet to Apply or In progress after proper configuration. The chat support gets ended abruptly after saying thank you which is very vague.

### "Good tool for managing vulnerabilities and patches"

April 10, 2026

5.0

Overall, it has been a good experience using this tool. It has helped us improve our vulnerability tracking and patching process in a structured way. We use it regularly as part of our security operations, and it has made things more organized and manageable. With a few improvements, it can become even better.

Pros

What I like most about is how easy it is to get a clear view of vulnerabilities across systems. The dashboard is simple and gives a quick understanding of what needs attention. Patch management is a big plus it saves a lot of time by automating updates instead of doing everything manually. It also helps us stay prepared for audits since reports are readily available and easy to generate

Cons

One thing that could be better is the initial setup it takes some time to fully configure everything properly. Also, during large scans, we noticed it can slow down systems a bit. Some advanced features are not very straightforward and need better documentation or guidance.

### "Vulnerailty Manager Plus Review"

April 30, 2026

5.0

Overall, the experience has been very positive. provides strong visibility into endpoint vulnerabilities, missing patches, misconfigurations, and high-risk software. The integration of vulnerability detection with automated and manual remediation workflows is a major advantage. Patch management, risk-based prioritization, and compliance reporting are particularly useful for enterprise security operations. The product offers good value for money and effectively strengthens the organization’s vulnerability management posture when properly configured.

Pros

The ability to keep track of all applicable patches and the ability to track the compliance percentage

Cons

The main drawback is the initial setup and learning curve. Configuring scanners, patch policies, and remediation workflows takes time and requires careful planning, especially in larger or distributed environments. The user interface, while functional, can feel slightly cluttered, and some reports require manual customization to meet executive-level presentation needs. Occasional scan delays on endpoints with limited resources were also observed.

### "Reliable Vulnerability Management Solution with Strong Patch Automation"

May 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been positive. It helps streamline vulnerability assessment, patch management, and compliance monitoring from a single console. The solution improves endpoint security posture and reduces manual effort for IT administrators. It is particularly useful for organizations looking for a cost-effective vulnerability and patch management solution with good automation capabilities.

Pros

What I liked most about is its centralized vulnerability scanning and patch management capabilities. The dashboard is user-friendly and provides detailed visibility into system vulnerabilities, missing patches, and security risks across endpoints. The automated patch deployment feature saves significant time for IT teams, and the software supports a wide range of third-party applications and operating systems. The reports and compliance tracking are also very useful for management reviews and security audits.

Cons

The initial setup and configuration can take time, especially in larger environments. Some advanced features require additional fine-tuning and understanding of the product. Occasionally, scanning large networks may impact performance, and the reporting customization could be more flexible. The interface, while functional, can feel slightly complex for first-time users.

### "Cost-Effective, Cross-Platform, and Easy to Customise"

June 19, 2026

5.0

Very good, support is good and the product is solid. Not many tools support all platforms which reduces operational overhead.

Pros

Cost-effective, cross-platform, and easy to customise. It works well across different environments and gives you enough flexibility to tailor it to what you actually need without getting in the way.

Cons

I've been running it on premise (moving to cloud though) and that version does not seem to suit hybrid/remote businesses well. For example, some features need a distribution server which won't work in a remote model.

Cons

There is no scheduled scan for systems. In dark mode the scroll button to dark and hard to find but its not a big deal.

I am enjoying it so far. Automated patching is so effective. Once its properly set up you needn't worry about those particular patches any longer. Customer support for the app is also on point with the inbuilt chat box which enables you to raise tickets easily.

Pros

Ease of use and effectiveness. UI is so friendly you don't need much training other than a simple walkthrough to get conversant with it.

Cons

Ease of deployment. I wasn't directly involved in the deployment but I know it took some time to fully set it up.

The software has made patching and vulnerability scanning and modification much easier with "one pane of glass"

Pros

Complete breadth of patch scanning regardless of the Operating System and the ability to schedule patching including the ability to do a wake-on-lan signal to wake up machines for patching. Also the ability to scan for various vulnerabilities and be able to work with both in one software package. Makes managing security and threat management much easier

Cons

Occasional duplication of patch with different CVE numbers for the same patch package. Inability to decline some Linux patches

My experience with ManageEngine and its products is positive. They have excellent support and fully back up their products even if you run a trial version. The Vulnerability Manager Plus was an excellent choice for us as an organization and performs well in an environment that is distributed to 5 locations in Europe.

### "Is Manage Engine's Vulnerability Manager Good?"

January 12, 2024

5.0

Overall I would say is a great tool to have and use.

Pros

It is nice to have both patching and vulnerability management in one interface. Being able to see what patches fix what vulnerabilities is also nice and being able to simply click "deploy" to fix the vulnerability is nice.

Cons

I would say the least thing I like is they have a few buttons placed around that simply are not usable unless you pay for other services and integrate them in. I feel like they are doing this to push more of their products on customers.
