Would highly recommend them as an ATS provider and supplier. They have revolutionised our recruitment processes and keeping us in line with market practices. I would also recommend them as an organisation, I have had nothing but friendly, positive and productive relationships with members of the team at Talos.

Pros

Responsive, friendly and informed Good customer relationship management coupled with strong technical knowledge of the product. Extremely accommodating to my acute requests for function or process changes.

Cons

Some parts of the system we feel are limiting, however, we are a particularly bespoke business/area of recruitment where additional checks and processes are in place.

Overall great, there were some teething issues when transferring from our previous system with Travelopia but pleased to say they have been ironed out and the support is now much better. \[sensitive content hidden\] and the team have been very helpful in handling any requests we have.

Pros

The user friendly interface, the simplicity of the progression stages and the flexibility in being able to customise the system to meet our needs. I've also been impressed with how solid the system has been over the past 12 months, not many occasions I can think of when the system has failed/been down.

Cons

When creating new forms/templates/communications, some times there is a lot of manual copying and pasting needed etc., perhaps a copy option could help.

We have a fairly low number of vacancies, but Talos suits us perfectly - easy to use for managers, easy to keep track of progress and it's great it now integrates with Teams to allow interviews via Microsoft Teams.

Pros

It's great to have candidates from all different sources in the one place and it's very easy to progress/decline them though the reviewing/interviewing/offer stages. Customer support team are really helpful and take the time to explain/resolve any queries.

Cons

The chat bot was a little frustrating at first, as you'd end up going round in circles, but this has definitely improved over time and is very useful. Would also be good to have more functionality for admins to update/amend recruitment agency details. The interview scheduler was initially difficult with issues arising occasionally with candidates not being able to log in/join the video interviews, but now it's integrated with Microsoft Teams, it's much easier.

Very disappointing. Appreciate it wasn't set up properly to start with (way before our time), but one hoped that by working with the company we could improve the setup and get it up to what we were paying for. After 2 years we literally had to give up and switch to another supplier (whereby we got 10 x the product features for half the cost).

Pros

I believe when set up correctly, Talos may be middle of the road and usable as an ATS software. One of the few features we managed to get implemented by them was the ability to edit our homepage for recruitment. A nice tough based on templates. Not massively customisable but adequate.

Cons

We inherited a poor implementation from the previous team, so not the best start. What was most disappointing was the vast cost we were paying, for little product. Compounding this, the team were not very helpful or swift in enhancing the product, or indeed working with us to get what we paid for.

Cant fault it. Been using Talos since day dot in my recruitment journey and have been a big fan. Much more considering when speakign to other recruiters and their horror stories of other ATS systems. Everyone who I have conversations are always genuine and helpful and there is never anything out of reach for them in order to be able to help us.

Pros

Talos is effective and simple to use when you know what you are looking for. There are great elemens in terms of interview standards and the process becomes much more simplistic when the system you are using has effective tracking across the journey.

Cons

if i had to choose i would probably say in some ways the user interface could be a little more friendly however thats only because i am a little blind and would prefer it to be a little clearer. sometimes the screen can become a little crowded when looking at a vacancy with alot of applications in there.,

The system was quite clunky at first, especially with invoicing and the initial setup. However, it has improved over time and is now much more user-friendly and efficient.

Pros

The system is incredibly user-friendly and makes navigation and task completion quick and efficient, even for new users.

Cons

There’s a lot to learn around the system, making it time-consuming and frustrating for new users to get up to speed.

Overall the system is really good. User friendly, easy to move candiates through to offer and onboarding and easy to see the history of previous applications.

Pros

How user Friendly the system is and ease of use.

When assigning interview slots to a job and having to re confirm the type for each individual slot (Telephone, Interview etc)

It has been great and have given testimonials/endorsements to other potential clients.

Pros

The ease of using the system. Pretty straightforward and saves so much admin from my end to the point of there being very little in terms of paperwork.

Cons

There are aspects such as reporting, which was challenging, but now that has been revamped I look forward to working with the system. Occasionally I forget what permissions I need to grant new users, especially for ATR purposes.

Since adopting Talos our recruitment process has been streamlined and made much more efficient. I can't imagine going back to the old system of emails and spreadsheets. I love it!

Pros

How much time it saves me!!! Issuing interview invitations, rejection letters, asking for information, setting up meetings, sharing applications. All with a few clicks, its such a boon. And the customer service if fabulous!

Cons

No "waiting room" for video interviews - this causes a little confusion when setting up. A lot of candidates like to come online early to check the system is working,
