"Great for freelancers or those in the Gig economy to get in business quickly with no frills"

**Overall:** It has served relatively well for simple or ad hoc products or services that I've needed to host online in a pinch. It has, however, exposed its WordPress backend a few times.

**Pros:** Good solution for a smaller business with very simple e-commerce needs but the interface and business logic applied make it a bit unwieldy for anything more complex. Although the functionality for moderately-complex implementations seems to be present (e.g. software licensing and key management), it does not seem to have a very evolved mechanism to apply those functions and the API documentation certainly could be fleshed out a lot better to make it really useable. A lot of potential, though--and quick setup makes it suitable for simple storefronts. Its real power comes in its ability to schedule and sell gigs (hence its name). Though it could also be fleshed out a bit better, it does an acceptable job for freelancers or consultants to at least have something functional to use.

**Cons:** The interface is a little rough around the edges and rudimentary and the storefront cannot be easily tailored. The API is lacking more functionality to make it really more than an after-thought.

**Reasons for Choosing Gigrove:** I purchased it as an early adopter on an LTD platform.
