Pros We have been using PowerUp Sports since 2007. The team took their original offering and created custom functionality for service offerings. Over the last 12+ years, they have continued to be responsive to our needs. PowerUp Sports is responsive, adaptable, reasonably priced and effective at solving our challenges. Once we began to plan to reopen and begin our indoor season \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] from PowerUp helped us with all the online Assumption of Risk waivers, creating an online registration for tryouts for each division and giving us options on how to complete tracing forms for our membership. PowerUp is amazing - we would never change to another product after the wonderful experiences we have had with them. Pros The software itself is so user friendly and handles all our needs as a soccer association. When you use it it speaks for itself. What makes PowerUp Sports even more valuable to our association is the client support we receive from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] of Soccer for the company. Whenever we are navigating through a new product such as online tryouts this year or creating a raffle draw online \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was there to help us through every step and question we had. The support with this system is second to none. Communication responses are very quick and even if we ask about something that they have never dealt with previously their team is quick to come up with a solution. Cons To be quite honest I have not found any issues so far with the system - I have been a user for many years and then after joining the soccer board I became one of the PowerUp administrators. I have been in this role for 3 years and have never come across something that I either couldn't figure out quickly or get assistance from the support staff. Reason for choosing PowerUp Sports PowerUp Sports has the built in adaptability to suit all the needs of our soccer program including, team management, account management, season schedule creation, referee assignment, mass email system with the flexibility to choose a variety of different user groups (parents, referees, specific birth years, etc.) All our registration is completed thru this system as well including billing out program costs to members. This system is so user friendly and gives you the control to create several product lines for our festivals, tournaments, regular system, wind up days and communication. Best program for the soccer club :-) Pros I love the fact that I can call and get help within minutes. I like the fact that all the things I need for my season are on 1 program. It is easy to use and I like a lot of the other features, financial, reports etc. Cons The app can be a little better and they could make it a little more accessible for the Admins to be able to change some things in the back without having to call them. Reason for choosing PowerUp Sports Sport Engine sucks. The help is not there and anytime you call for help it takes up to 24hrs and nothing is ever their fault. Fixing bugs takes for ever. Excellent Support!" March 28, 2022 5.0 This product enables our Club to streamlne regisration, team set up, schedules, referees and financial management. The ease of use has allowed all of our convenors to become very comfortable using this system. As Administrator, I am able to keep of top of everything at any point in my day and can watch trends in regisraton etc. I would never consider switching companies. PowerUP makes you feel like family! Pros We have used PowerUp for 11 years! Through these years, we have grown with the product. The technical support is second to none. The refresher courses offered are very beneficial. We use this program for everything from regisration to scheduling and referees. Cons We did find the transition from paper registration to online involved a huge learning curve, but PowerUp stood by us all the way aiding us in any way that they could. Reason for choosing PowerUp Sports PowerUp was chosen for a few reasons. One being the very reasonable price, but the main selling point was the Product support. The cost of implementing the PowerUp System was equal to the mailing costs related to our registration process. The handling of thousands of registration forms and the work associated with the tracking and recording of information and financial data was eliminated. Pros The PowerUp Sports product meets all our needs for registering our members and their children for our soccer programs. It is easy to use by our members to register for our programs and provides all options for payment of fees. The system enables staff to organize teams, schedule events, communicate schedules, track and record player progress. The creation of products (program SKUs) is simple and easy to do. The system provides standard reports on product sales by product, SKU, and by season. Cons Over the nine (9) years and 18 seasons that we have used PowerUp Sports we have seen many enhancements that were suggested by us. They started with the best product available and have improved it every year. Reason for choosing PowerUp Sports We looked at existing sport clubs that were using PowerUp Sports and contacted them to assess their satisfaction with the performance of the system and the quality of the support provided by PowerUp. The feedback was all positive (user friendly, reliable, easy to administer, it worked). As well the support for its implementation (credit card processing, etc.) was excellent. The tutorials are always at hand and customer service is just a phone call away. You don't have to open a ticket and then wait for someone to get back to you. Registration is made easy through the system and tracking registration as staff is even easier. both via computer or phone. Pros Power up is extremely easy to use and is very user friendly, making it easy to explain to new members how to use the system. I have used this software at multiple clubs and have always found the team and the product to be incredibly adaptable, open-minded and quick in response. The ease of use, not only from a club integration perspective, but from a consumer set-up is fabulous. I truly could not say enough about this product and have been fortunate to work with them. Our overall experience has been excellent. Regular engagment and feedback has always been provided. Customer support is fantastic. There is never an issue with reponse time or quality of response. There is no company that I have experienced in the sports registration business that has the level of customer service that PowerUp has. Pros Ability to fully customize the product and skus in the registration software. Ease of use year over year. Reports are simple to generate. Custom reports are achievable with a simple request. Cons Scheduling software is not as easy to work with for our rapidly changing field requirements and changes due to closures etc... Pros The scheduling software is easy to use & executes a number of different variables when needed (e.g. round robin playoffs, knockout playoffs, etc). We have always experienced excellent customer service from all levels of employees. Pros PowerUp offers a "one stop shopping" approach. It serves all my needs right from registering our members, creating teams, scheduling games and referees to a communication tool. Cons Can't think of anything at this moment. If there was something we didn't like or it didn't do, if reasonable, PowerUp was always willing to incorporate the change.
