Without a working ERP system, it is really hard to keep an overview and control of your business these days. That's why I am very happy that I have implemented Xentral - the software is very clear and structured for a fully comprehensive ERP system. Pros Although we at Stern Technic have only just been founded, we did not want to do without the use of an ERP system. For us as an engineering company, it is of great relevance that we keep an overview of our projects and our resources. Since we already know Xentral from Stern Didactic, the decision to return to Xentral was quickly made that we wanted to use Xentral again. The process with the Xentral team went completely smoothly and quickly, so that we were up and running after just one week. From our point of view, this is unique! To also make a small wish: A dark mode would be very very cool! 😉 Cons I really miss the Dark Mode. ;-) But that's also up to me, because in principle I prefer dark modes and they are much easier for the eyes. It is very easy customisable and offers a quick intro to the ERP World. Processes like Warehouse and Billing are easy to understand and implement. If you habe any questions, Xentral offers a very good knowledgebase. Xentral will be our (and our Partners) main ERP Tool if we have a "Pay for all Features" alternative. Pros The best Feature is the UI and its easy to use flair. You can easaly start your first ERP experience without a lot of skills. Cons There is nothing that we didn´t love. If we musst chose something, it will be that we need to pay for all features altough we use just a little of them (10% i guess). It's super user-friendly, and has grown over the years with us. We manage all our processes - from inventory over to sales and book-keeping through Xentral. Cons \- Some features in the area of bookkeeping, particularly with regards to bank reconciliation of collective payments & allowances need a facelift & added functionality to assist in these tedious but essential tasks. - Batch/Lot number & best before date tracking isn't fully integrated into all areas. Some handy features with regards to stock movements can only be used on articles without Batch/lot numbers and best before dates. Cons Sometimes Options are well hidden out of sight - deepter knowledge of the software can be needed to find all options. complexity and variety of modules allow many use cases but can be a challenge. Man kann viele Prozesse individuell anpassen, was uns wirklich hilft, unsere Abläufe effizienter zu gestalten. Die Integration mit anderen Tools klappt problemlos und das Dashboard ist klar strukturiert – man sieht sofort, was wichtig ist. Auch der Support ist klasse: schnell, hilfreich und unkompliziert. Cons Kleinere Schwächen gibt es bei der Benutzerverwaltung, vor allem wenn man spezielle Rechte für verschiedene Nutzer vergeben will. Manche neuen Funktionen könnten vielleicht schneller kommen, auch wenn bereits ein paar gute Ideen noch schon auf der Roadmap stehen. Due to the complexity of an ERP system it appears a bit overwhelming in the beginning. Once you get to work with it for a period of time, it made our live lot easier. In Xentral you can connect various marketplaces, webshops, shipping and payment providers, and other things together. Also a tool for tax purposes is available. Pros The software mask and application is good and well-arranged. There is a decent setup tutorial with videos, which guides through the initial setup process. There are also setup packages for an extra fee available. Cons The updates can be problem at times, sometimes some bugs sneak in, although it very much improved recently, same as the customer service. Jedes unserer Updates wird sowohl automatisch wie auch menschlich vor der Veröffentlichung geprüft und durchläuft zunächst eine Beta-Phase. Solltet ihr euch nicht freiwillig zur Beta angemeldet haben, aus der man zu jedem Zeitpunkt austreten kann, erhaltet ihr daher nur Updates, die bereits zu hunderten geprüft wurden. Ich kann von überall arbeiten, Updates laufen automatisch, und ich muss mich nicht um Server oder lokale Installationen kümmern. Pros Die Benutzeroberfläche ist aufgeräumt und logisch aufgebaut. Auch wenn es ein komplexes System ist, fühlt sich vieles intuitiv an. Die zahlreichen Schnittstellen machen den Datenaustausch mit anderen Systemen einfach und das erspart mir eine Menge manueller Arbeit. Außerdem finde ich es super, dass man Xentral modular erweitern kann. Ich kann mir genau die Funktionen aktivieren, die ich wirklich brauche. Das macht das System flexibel. Cons Gerade bei spezifischen Einstellungen, Anpassungen oder Berichten braucht es manchmal etwas Einarbeitung oder externe Hilfe. Beim Support würde ich mir manchmal eine etwas schnellere Rückmeldung wünschen. Aber insgesamt überwiegen für mich klar die Vorteile.
