Pros I enjoy the fact that I can speak to a live person, and it not be a call center and I no longer have to hear background noise of other people’s issues etc. I like that it is client based and they resolve every issue I may encounter in a timely fashion. My company just started using it about a month ago and I process payroll for multiple clients. Pros The site is simple to navigate and working with multiple clients is easy. Each client's name is listed and you just have to click on the name to start working with them. Cons I think the site logs me out to quickly when I'm inactive. It only give you about 4 or 5 minutes before it asks if you're still there and then it will kick you out. Having ADP saves so much time that I don't have to worry about correcting tax errors, calling to make adjustments to payroll or having to contact someone and wait for answers to questions. Pros One of the best features is the chat box for customer support. It is super easy to use and the communication on there is fast and clear, providing answers very quickly. I also like the way the payroll processing is set up. There is an option to make 1x changes to an employees check, cancel a single direct deposit, adjust tax withheld and more. What's more is that I am paying significanly less for ADP than I was with our previous company and with way less headaches. Cons I do feel the employee handbook module could include some more common sections. There were some I did have to type up and add. Also, when I submit tax notices, it would be nice to have an open line of communication. Currently, once they close the request there is no way to let them know if the resolution was sufficient or if the claim needs further attention. Switched from [Paychex](https://www.capterra.com/p/119841/Paychex-Flex/) We had nothing but problems with Paychex. Mostly there were tax compliance issues but they also got deductions wrong occasionally. There was always a new "payroll specialist" handling the account so if they were not familiar there were typically some kind of errors. For as long as ADP has been in business, I was expecting a more sophisticated system. Pros Timekeeping is easy to enter for employees. Creating specialized reports are also easy to run. Payroll processing is quick and efficient. Cons If an employee is out sick, they must enter their sick time request daily. This does not allow the employee to fully recover if they are constantly having to enter a sick time request each day, and it adds extra work for admin. As long as it's within the pay period, the employee should have the ability to go into the system to enter their sick time upon their return. I was not able to adjust an employee's pay increase to begin on 9/1 as it was in the middle of the pay period. The system should allow admin to select the date the increase occurs and calculate the adjustment. After our account was setup, I still had questions and reached out twice to \[sensitive content hidden\], the representative we began the process with, but never received a reply to either email. Fortunately, I copied other ADP representatives who were able to assist me. However, the lack of response from \[sensitive content hidden\] did not leave me with a good impression of ADP. I would have appreciated a full breakdown and transparency of all fees (401K, payroll processing, timekeeping etc.) and options available when signing on. Why don't all your employees have an ADP email address? Unless I reply to a previous email or call the company (LONG hold times), I cannot contact my Specialist directly. I made the switch from a previous payroll provider a couple of months ago and it was truly the best thing I did for myself and my business. It has made running payroll, keeping my employees organized, onboarding, and so much simpler than it used to be. I am very satisfied. Pros What I have enjoyed most about RUN by ADP is how easy it has been to use. It is very easy to understand as a new business owner and the customer support that is offered is great. RUN by ADP has allowed me to manage my employees all in one organized online platform that has resulted in better performance and speed for my overall business. The value for my money is unmatched when factoring in all of the great features RUN has to offer and all of the issues that it has solved for my business. Cons There has not been much that I have disliked about RUN by ADP. I am still new to the platform and have not explored all that there is to offer, however if there is ever an issue, they have the greatest customer support to assist me. The system itself is easy to use, and the support response has generally been quick. We did experience some challenges during the transition from our previous payroll provider, particularly with the initial employee and tax setup. It took additional communication and review to resolve those issues, but at this point, the major concerns have been addressed. I hope the system continues to work smoothly as we become more familiar with it. Pros The system is user-friendly and easy to navigate. So far, the Help Center and support team have also been very responsive, which has been helpful whenever I have questions or need assistance. Cons The transition from our previous payroll system could have been smoother. There were some issues during the initial setup, including missing or incorrect tax settings, which required additional review and communication on our side.
