" June 29, 2026 5.0 Pros I loved how easy it is to use RUN Powered by ADP whenever I do payroll. I use it in a browser when on my computer, and also the iOS app on my phone. The few times I've had questions, they are quick to answer and provide all of the info I need. I log in using an admin email and have given each of my employees access through their own so they can get their payroll info and forms. Cons I don't have any issues with RUN Powered by ADP. For a new small business not needing a comprehensive HR platform it ended up being a very easy decision when comparing packages. Pros The sales process was great, our rep was friendly and very helpful in helping us understand what we need to do for payroll as a new business. They even sent us links to what we need to signup with our state before committing to using ADP. As a small business we just needed a solution to do one thing which is run payroll and stay in compliance which is what RUN by ADP offers. Cons The platform feels a bit dated and the implementation can get a bit bumpy with employees needed to onboard first before accessing the platform and the workers comp handled sort of on the side but in the end reps are there to help and get things moving. The pay structure doesn't work for sales companies very well - I have to onboard people as salary or hourly, even though they're not paid that way. This shows up on their check stub, which can be an issue. I also get really frustrated with the message that pops up every time I enter pay asking if I meant to pay the person that amount. It takes extra time and messes up the flow of entering payroll. I find the 401k website difficult to navigate and manage. It feels outdated, I can't usually find what I need. Payroll is easy to run, and access for my employees to update their own information is superior to previous programs I have used. Overall would recommend the ADP payroll/RUN system. I do have a couple complaints regarding customization of alerts, and inputting time off for employees - but they have given me work arounds while they see if the programing can be updated. Pros I like that it is user friendly, straight-forward, and any time I have needed help from customer service, its always been informative and staff members are always top notch. Cons I would love to see more specificity in some of the reports (being able calculate specific fica deductions) and I wish there scheduling software better met the needs of our practice so we could utilize it all. Sometimes the app is glitchy. This is me being picky though, it does really well overall.
