The payroll information is readily accessible and easy to modify Cons If I don't have a payroll that period, I have to go change the time frame to the next period. It is a decent payroll product but it is not a replacement for an HRIS. It is close but lacking features that would make it much more helpful for a small company like ours. Pros The ease of use. I can have it processed. It's that easy. They've never missed an important filing date and I always get my tax forms on time. Definitely a professional well run company. November 14, 2017 4.0 Pros I used ADP RUN for about 5 years, but we eventually grew out of it and needed to transition to the Workforce Now platform. I had a lot of bad things to say about RUN previously (report capability, customer service, etc), but compared to WFN I know realize RUN was great! It's very user friendly, you don't even have to be a payroll expert to easily use it. Cons I'm not a fan of ADP as a company in general. Their customer service is hit or miss, it just depends on who you get on the phone. Some are very knowledgeable, some seem very new or just give contradictory information that you know is incorrect. I believe RUN is best for small companies, maybe <100 employees. We had a 401(k) functionality come up that RUN couldn't support, but if that hadn't come up we'd still be using RUN happily. While the rate to use isn't bad, they do randomly just increase the charges. Cons I've had some tough customer service calls--I eventually got resolution, but met some resistance along the way. So we switched to ADP, now it took some getting used to and things we not so good out of the gate. But once we got in the same rhythm we have never looked back. Cons The reporting side of the software pertaining to forms filed with government agencies could use a facelift - something to make it more clear what has already transpired and what is about to transpire. ADP is by far and away the most professional and easy to use with clear reports and excellent client services. So in my own business that was my selection and the best one.
