### "Best Engagement System! "

Dental Intel has help our office by keeping our schedules filled, and we are currently booked out till October for Hygiene and August for Providers!

Pros

The recall is great and has lots of ways to filter from age, no apt made, last apt and more. They also have an online scheduling that keeps track of HYG past due, unscheduled TX, broken appointments and can pull from our ASAP list! Even if you do not want patients to be able to make their own apt (we do not) the rest of the information that DI can tack is so worth it, and to be able to pull from the ASAP list is a game changer! Plus, they offer so much more, really is the best engagement system we have used!

Cons

We do not use the Analytics. I am sure it is great!, however just something our office feels we do not need

Reason for choosing Dental Intelligence

Dental Intel offered all the same product, plus more with more reasonable pricing, and the customer service was exceptional!

### "Beware of Dental Intelligence "

Absolute trash of a company. I’ve spoken to 3 people there including \[sensitive content hidden\] to cancel this account. We signed up for a two-year term but after switching softwares we can no longer use them. Nothing in our agreement says we can’t cancel before the term ends and yet they continue charging our card. We keep disputing and getting our funds back but no one there will listen and just stop charging our card. Do not trust this company. They are a knockoff of Dentrix Patient Engage and the records don't pull seamlessly. You’re better off with a software that fully integrates with Dentrix like Patient Engage or a software with more robust patient forms like Weave.

It's been easy from the get-go, I really can't ask for more. I do hope as they become more popular and grow in size, their top notch customer service stays at the level I have grown accustomed to.

Pros

Customer service has been the best I've experienced in my 12 years of practice and 10 years of practice ownership. It's a company based in another state than I am in, but it feels like they are right next to us because we can text, call, email and they are right there! The software itself is easy to use, easy to implement and once again, they were right there when we needed anything. The platform is nice to look at, gives it a high quality feel, great user experience for us and the patients. They're are always updating their features and gives a monthly announcement and video on the new updates. It's very impressive.

Cons

If I could go in and edit my own health history forms that would be fantastic, but maybe in the future. Currently, we email in the edits and it's done in a few short hours or a day. So it's not a problem, just a wish list.

Fair to good, Still not a fan of Vyne, need a degree in insurance for some aspects

Pros

very flexible filtering , patient chat, auto reminders. once reached, the high level trainers are very good and responsive.

Cons

Complicated product , training is difficult because it requires a high level of competent knowledge and use of Windows. Low level trainers did more harm than good.

### "What we have been searching for for years!"

Everything about this software has been smooth from implementation to training to the patient user experience. We are thrilled, this is the 4th version of such software we have used, and Modento is head and shoulders above the others.

Pros

The tight integration of this product with our dental practice management software has been amazing. We save hours each week not having to scan documents into patient charts.

Cons

The way the software notates every interaction, while a crucial piece of the puzzle, does muddy our internal commlog ability and makes it slightly more difficult to track actual conversations with patients as noted in their charts.

It's a great tool to help you dive into and realize every opportunity for growth for your practice/business. User friendly and plenty of help is made available to you should you ever need any.

Pros

There are so many different statistics and reports you can pull to show you opportunities and tools that help you gauge them. It was also very helpful to have someone assigned to your business/practice to do check-ins and make sure the integration of the software is seamless.

Cons

Real-time syncing would make it a little easier to pull accurate data especially in preparing for the morning huddles.

Reason for choosing Dental Intelligence

In-depth statistics and reports, easy of use, assistance whenever you need it, and someone actually guides you through your progress until you're comfortable with the software.

Great! My front desk team is much more efficient!

Pros

The messaging platform is superior to other patient communication tools I’ve used. Modento also offered my team a super simple solution to going almost 100% paperless which is great by itself but even more helpful during COVID times. Patients love not having to pass pens/paper/clipboards back and forth. We also have many more new patients completing paper work in advance to their visit which is a time saver!

Cons

I would appreciate the ability to add custom documents myself and not have to ask customer service ( but they do a great job and are quick to help)

Pros

Easy to setup, easy to use, fantastic customer service. The platform/product is cutting edge for what it does for my practice in comparision to other similar softwares out there. They are also constantly evolving and adding new features. They have the ability to customize everything for your practice.

Cons

There is really nothing I dislike thus far. I wish I had started using this software a year earlier than I did, I am a startup and in just year 2 of our practice, we were still implementing with systems to determine what was the best product out there for us.

It was far superior than all of the above and came at a very competitive price point.

Our overall experience has been nothing but positive with Dental Intel. We have a great team member that checks in with us every few weeks to discuss our progress and offers help when needed. He makes sure we are utilizing everything Dental Intel has to offer to only benefit our office. Our schedule is busier and our numbers are higher each month thanks to Dental Intel. Its been such a great program for our office.

Pros

The automatic follow ups are an amazing tool our office uses daily. It has made filling the empty spaces on our schedule so easy for us! We login daily to our Dental Intel and immediately have a list of patients we need to check in with and try to get scheduled. We have had great success using this tool to build our monthly production numbers. I believe in the first 4-5 weeks we were able to add $22,000 of treatment just by utilizing our follow ups and contacting our patients to get scheduled/rescheduled. The best tool we could ask for!

Cons

There really are no cons as I see yet. We have no complaints or issues to address.

Cost is the biggest con, as Modento is expensive. Older patients are hesitant to use this technology, questioning the safety and security of the platform when we ask them to complete forms using Modento.

### "Don't go with Dental Intelligence"

We are not a fan of Dental intelligence and would not recommend this to any dental office until they have fixed their issues or taken into consideration the issues that offices are having. The only thing we liked about Dental intelligence is the online forms we had and that it put the information straight into Dentrix, otherwise not worth the price we have been paying them.

Pros

There are very few things our office liked about Dental Intelligence, we did however like that payments did go into the ledger and we loved the online forms.

Cons

When submitting payments if you put it through a specific patient it will still just go under the Head of household file. To text a patient you can't create a new chat you would have to create a whole new person in dentrix or wait for an updated phone number which would take a while. You can't change an email in Dental intelligence you would also have to do that through dentrix and still would take a long time to transfer over, making some situations uncomfortable with the patient waiting for an email. The insurance eligibility does not work on very many company's so we would have to call the insurance even though we pay to have insurance eligibility.

It worked for a while until software changes, then it wouldn't work with our software for a long time.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Dental Intelligence, primarily due to a complete lack of responsiveness and unresolved billing issues. I’ve contacted their team multiple times regarding problems with my account and explicitly requested that the matter be escalated to a manager. Despite this, my emails have not been returned, and there has been no follow-up or ownership of the issues raised. More concerning is the contract situation. The contract provided to me has a blank renewal period, yet I’m being told it is valid and enforceable. In addition, I’ve been overcharged based on the terms of that same contract. These are not minor discrepancies and should have been straightforward to address if someone had engaged. I’m posting this review because direct communication has failed. I would prefer to resolve this privately and professionally, but at this point, public feedback seems to be the only way to get a response.

Overall, my experience was positive again. It was nice of the team could have access to these numbers for them to review their own metrics and keep their own goals in mind.

Pros

The analytics portion was my favorite part about it. The reporting was very accurate easy way to access numbers without having to run a report in the practice management software.

Cons

I wouldn’t say that it’s the least thing that I like about it, but I wish there was a way for it to be real time, but I know that might not be feasible. I also didn’t like that there were separate platforms for analytics and then like patient engagement.
