Pros I love how much it can do for you in so many different areas of front office work. I also love that I can view claims and easily filter through what I need. The analytics are one of our Doctors favorites! We also use the morning huddle every day!! Cons The only complaint I have is that it only refreshes over night. So When you do stuff to change something, for instance when I close a claim in eaglesoft, it still shows as open in DI, until the next day. It is very user friendly, support is always great, the patient communication is the best and the electronic paperwork saves hours of work. The analytics you can get about your practice are amazing. You can really take a deep dive into your practice to find out where your strengths and weaknesses are! Cons I don't really have any cons about the practice that I can think of! I have been working with Jodi for the past year and cannot say enough good things. The personalization and direct help we have gotten from her is amazing. Cons Set up is important. " January 6, 2020 5.0 Increased patient compliance and improved communication without the inconvenience of picking up a phone. Pros Expanded functionality. 100%. Modento features far outperform the competition. Aside from basically having a digital new employee (for a fraction of the cost), the paperless check in, treatment planning, consent forms and voicemail drops are definitely our favorite features so far. There is not a single thing to dislike. Cons Initially, integration with Eaglesoft was limited, however I was informed that advanced integration was in process. Which Modento quickly delivered much quicker than anticipated. They really know their stuff and do all they can to make sure their software works for you. Which it should. Pros I can go on and on about this software. If you like to know the overall health of your dental practice- this is the BEST tool to help you can have. It helps you set goals, gives you tools to achieve your goals and uses YOUR data to understand how your practice works. It does require you to use it frequently in order for it to work, but it's' really not asking much except making sure the data matches your Practice Management Software. Understanding the current state of your practice is crucial in making any improvements. Dental Intel gives you everything you need to do this. Cons I wish that this software would do real-time updates. It does refresh at midnight, but I wish that as we completed follow-ups and scheduled recall and what not throughout the day it would tell us how we're doing on our goals during the day instead of having to wait until the next day. Dentist Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Intuitive, time-saving patient communication software" January 30, 2021 5.0 Pros Our office has been using Modento for a few weeks now -- it has dramatically reduced the time-sucking tasks of printing, scanning, filing for my office administrator. It also easily allows her to identify patients who fall into specific categories and send mass communication to them via text or email. This allows her to fill and confirm appointments in a matter of minutes (it used to take hours). It's very easy to use and has made our office much more efficient than it used to be. Our patients also love being able to fill out forms on their phones or computers before they even get to the office. There are tons of other features available -- basically I feel like my employees are now able to be more efficient with their time, and work on things that make the practice better and more productive. Their video tutorials and chat have been super helpful too -- we ask them questions daily. Cons I wish we could see all active AND inactive patients, and then sort/filter based on that criteria. My favorite features is seeing data for the month compared to our goals set. It helps motivate me and visually see where I’m lacking and what areas I could improve. I also really enjoy the huddle feature, makes huddles in the morning more useful and like I said before, more visual. Lastly, being the receptionist, I love the recall feature!! This helps with knowing exactly what the patients needs to come in for and just getting through the list efficiently! Cons I think what I like least about the software is I think is the loading! It takes forever to log in or from page to page. Sometimes when I try to log in, it just fails and I’m not able to log in at all. Lastly, I wish the performance boards updated in real time, that’s the one thing that lacks because I can’t see the progress in real time or the lack of. Review Source AJ Alana J. Sending everything through the App or tablet is convient and providing great customer service is very important to our office. Cons Having more options with voicemail integration or automated phone integration would be a great steap into the future. Overall, it has added a tool to create a great patient experience in my offie. Pros Modento is awesome! My patients love they can text and communicate through the platform, and love the ease in which they receive intake forms, and treatment plans. Patients also love the check in features, and a buzz is beginning with my loyalty rewards program! My staff also loves being paperless! My staff is very excited with the new live ops feature, and can’t wait for the online scheduling. Did I mention, the modento team is awesome!? They are friendly, respond quickly to any questions, and are great with support! I will most definitely will be recommending Modento my colleagues.
