### "Easy to get started with, even if you're not a professional developer"

August 28, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience has been positive. I tried Replit before Draftbit but found it too complicated for what I wanted to do, so I stopped using it. With Draftbit, I feel that I can understand the platform better and actually make progress with my mobile app. There are still some things I find confusing, especially the credit system and the way the different AI models are handled, but these haven't stopped me from using the platform. I’m satisfied with Draftbit so far and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with it and seeing how the platform develops.

Pros

The biggest advantage for me is how approachable it is. I’m somewhere in the middle technically — I can understand code and technical concepts, but I’m not a professional developer. Draftbit gives me a way to build a real mobile app without having to figure out everything from scratch. I also like the AI assistance. GPT has been working well for me and has helped me move forward much faster. So far, I think Draftbit offers good value for money, especially for someone who wants to build a mobile app without hiring a full development team. I’m still in the process of building my app, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the value compares over the longer term. This is probably one of the things I like most about Draftbit. I’m not a professional developer, but I have a reasonable technical understanding. Compared with Replit, which I found more complicated and eventually stopped using, Draftbit feels much easier to understand and work with. I can actually make progress with my app without feeling completely lost in the technical side. I’m still exploring all the customization possibilities, but so far I’m happy with the flexibility Draftbit gives me. I haven’t used the file management features enough yet to give a detailed opinion. So far, I haven’t had any major problems with it.

Cons

The credit system was a little confusing for me at first. I wasn't always sure how credits were being used. I also tried Gemini, but after selecting it, my credits were used and nothing happened. I then switched to GPT, which worked well. I was also wondering why Gemini isn't included more directly and why I need to go through OpenRouter to use it. I think the AI model options and credit usage could be explained more clearly.

### "Great Balance Between No-Code and Code"

July 29, 2026

4.0

Overall, Draftbit is a great tool for quickly building mobile apps while still having flexibility and control over the code. It has helped speed up my development process.

Pros

Easy to build mobile apps visually while still having access to React Native code. The AI features also help speed up development and troubleshooting.

Cons

The AI credit system can be expensive, especially when making many changes or using AI frequently. There is also a learning curve for more advanced features.

The overall cost isn't great, the website did look good though. We will continue to use recommend everyone give it a go

Pros

easy to use, easy to Navigate. Preview that comes up instantly pretty good, integration is great, overall kind of happy.

Cons

There was a lot of errors in the code that needed fixing which cost more tokens, 40,000 tokens hardly built the website have to wait a whole month to get more

### "A great product that changes the WYSIWYG Landscape for React and Mobile App Production"

January 26, 2022

5.0

I love working with Draftbit. I have found the team to be so professional and friendly. It has a community that I am proud to be a part of and I wish to help see it grow.

Pros

Draftbit is a great way to get into PWAs and Mobile apps no matter your skill level. I have found that it is intuitive enough to allow for extensive customisation without much coding skills required. I also found that if you need to go into code and add in your own, Draftbit has supplied a really good way to do this. It presents itself as an easy to use tool to prototype and even create production ready apps, yet it has so many complexities woven into it, that it can many very large use cases.

Cons

I feel like a custom plugin / extension marketplace should be implemented. I would for one love to be able to reuse custom components I have made with custom code in other projects but they do not always import across well.

### "Full App Development w/o the Headache"

January 23, 2022

4.0

Super positive overall. It lowers the barrier to entry and all of the headaches that usually come with app dev. Draftbit has a great community forum and their customer-facing team members are super helpful and receptive to ideas of how the product and support tools can be improved.

Pros

Having the source code was the main reason I went with Draftbit. I've used a handful of other low-code/no-code tools in the past, and source code was the main decision maker that made Draftbit the clear choice. I also liked that I could make multiple apps under a subscription with them.

Cons

I wish I could export an app or screen I've built as a template that I can use in other apps.

### "Great for Entrepreneurs"

January 26, 2022

4.0

I'm currently building an app with Draftbit to push the features. So far, it's been good. I've been able to do everything I need to because Draftbit allows me to use custom code if they don't have what I need prebuilt.

Pros

Connecting to external API's are easy in Draftbit. The component library is good and it's growing. If you're familiar with CSS Flex Box then you'll be right at home laying out components. I also like that I can write custom code and components if what I'm needing isn't already created by Draftbit.

Cons

I think the component library needs to improve, that is, add more components. When building for iOS you have to create custom back buttons to add interactivity, that should be a standard feature. State management takes some getting use to if you come from a React Native background and using state management solutions like Redux.

Is a fantastic software. Just the speed is a consern for us.

Pros

Super easy to use. As a product manager is very simple to integrate data.

Cons

I see as a BIG challenge the speed to open the app and loading pictures and video. From the perspective of a user if the app takes time to open our user would prefer maybe to open the app in a browser

### "From Prototype to Production: A Powerful Low-Code Mobile App Builder"

June 18, 2026

5.0

Draftbit has been a valuable platform for transforming product ideas into functional mobile applications. It strikes a balance between no-code simplicity and developer-level flexibility, making it suitable for both non-technical founders and experienced developers. The ability to visually build interfaces while maintaining access to exportable source code is a major advantage. Although there is a learning curve for advanced features, the platform substantially reduces development time and helps teams validate and launch products more efficiently.

Pros

Draftbit significantly accelerates mobile app development by providing a visual development environment built on React Native. The platform makes it possible to create production-ready applications without building every screen from scratch, which is particularly valuable for founders, product managers, and startups. Its integration capabilities, component library, and ability to export clean React Native code provide flexibility that many no-code tools lack. The platform also allows teams to move from prototype to deployment much faster than traditional development approaches.

Cons

While Draftbit is powerful, complex applications often require a deeper understanding of React Native concepts than many users initially expect. Some advanced workflows, custom logic implementations, and troubleshooting scenarios can become challenging without technical knowledge. The learning curve increases as projects grow in complexity, and certain customizations may require workarounds or direct code modifications after export.

### "Give it a shot!"

September 13, 2026

4.0

My overall experience has been pretty awesome. The free trial is absolutely a huge bonus. This jumps out at me as saying, “Here we are, try us out on us if you don’t believe the hype.” This is the biggest reason i tried Draftbit.

Pros

Using AI to build a real mobile app is absolutely a game changer. Being able to simply tell an agent what I want built is something that everyone should have access to and is, in my opinion, the way of the future.

Cons

There can be a gap between what I can describe to the AI and what Draftbit can actually implement within its supported environment.

Outstanding company with a dedicated team. Nothing but great things to say about working with them.

Pros

It has made it possible to build an app very quickly. Much faster and easier than manual coding. It gives my customers a visual, working app with play with in the shortest amount of time but doesn't limit me in adding any feature I need.

Cons

Source control features are getting better but still limited for my purpose.

### "Speed Up Your Dev"

January 21, 2022

4.0

It hasn't been smooth sailing but it's a much better option than hiring a front-end developer or going with other low-code softwares that don't offer as much flexibility as Draftbit does.

Pros

We contemplated of hiring a front-end developer but as a start up, we wanted to find low cost alternatives so we turn to low-code softwares. We tried several low-code platforms before deciding on Draftbit. We were looking for a platform that would speed up our dev while saving us time and money. Although other platforms had stunning templates, most of them did not allow us to own our source code. It was imperative that our work belonged to us and Draftbit allowed that. We particularly like the templates and the ability to customize them. One thing I appreciate from Draftbit is their customer service. They're very responsive and have worked closely with us to resolve issues.

Cons

Although Draftbit aims to save users time, navigating around Draftbit dev and design limitations has slowed us down for our first project. We ran into bugs that Draftbit has overlooked. We spent 2-3 months to develop three screens for our app which could have been resolved if Draftbit was more sophisticated - however, I'm confident they'll get there. Given that they are still in beta, Draftbit offers more than expected. They currently provide basic features and I do hope they'll release more templates in the near future such as more interaction/animation options as it's highly trending in design. Draftbit is priced a bit higher than its competitors but they offer more flexibility and customization that would help us in the long run. We wish they had more affordable plans.

### "Draftbit is a great platform for organizations with low manpower and complex apps"

January 21, 2022

4.0

Overall, I would say Draftbit was a great investment. It speeds up a lot of the app development process, especially on the front end side. It's relatively easy to use, though depending on the complexity of your app, some coding knowledge is needed. I do wish there was more control in certain configurations in the builder, such as app.JSON changes, and version control would also be ideal without having to make copies of things.

Pros

\- The ability to download all of the source code. - The front end builder largely makes front end development obsolete. - Third party integrations that don't require any code. - The ability to implement my own custom logic - Testing with Expo Go is very useful. - Active community

Cons

\- Some integrations aren't featyure complete yet(e.g. Firebase) - You can't import projects. - Some builder features are clunky (e.g. adding multiple actions). - Some low code features can be obtuse, requiring actual coding knowledge to dig through the source code to understand them. - Some basic features like background gradients are absent. - No good way to collaborate on a project with others

### "Draftbit review"

January 29, 2022

4.0

Great experience thus far. Awesome customer support as Pro members.

Pros

The ability to rapidly develop the basic structure of our app with no code, add in more complicated custom features using code, and export the entire project for deployment or modifcation.

Cons

Many standard features are being added, but often times it feels like there are some key features that are missing that can make it slightly annoying to use. One example is when we wanted to make a flatlist that disabled scroll, the feature wasn't available. Fortuneatly, we were able to just recreate the code in the custom code editor, but still, a very annoying problem that could be solved from a single feature. That being said, features are added pretty frequently, but I recommend if your app requires a certain feature, check with the team first to see if it's available. If not you may need to hard code it.

It is sad that they use this technology's and scam people. Its entertaining to see another scam on the internet.

Pros

This is just another FTX , they take your money and no customer service. Impossible to get the ownership information to file criminal charges. If they were a responsible company they would supply there ownership information and contact information so that you can make them responsible in court for their fraudulent business practices.

Cons

### "A must try React Native Low Code Builder"

January 21, 2022

5.0

Draftbit has allowed us to expand from lowcode web design and app wireframing into full stack app design. We can now design and launch full native apps rapidly and cheaply.

Pros

Draftbit allows you to build and launch straight to the App Store and Playstore without ever leacing the platform or writing a line of code. It integrates with any APIs to build powerful applications with any backend. It also creates clean code you can export and use anywhere.

Cons

Like any lowcode tool there is some learning to get really comfortable with it. However the support and frequent updates make it a great tool to learn quickly.

Reason for choosing Draftbit

It allows you to export the code, connect any API, and get your app straight into the app store and playstore with a single click.

### "Best visual mobile app builder in the market"

January 27, 2022

5.0

Having access to the app's source code is quite important because that means there's no "platform lock-in", which I think is one of Draftbit's main strength. Users won't ever need to worry that Draftbit might close shop one day and the code is lost. It's one thing to promise that Draftbit will be around for a "long time", but another to have some sort of assurance that our code will always be available to export. Having it in React Native is also quite an important point since that means one code base is sufficient for iOS and Android. For the Draftbit subscription, seeing the engagement in the community as well as the response time, sincerity of the responses, and how the entire(!) team jumps in to help all the users with their challenges was very assuring. So the single most important thing is the team behind Draftbit and the team's dedication.

Pros

The drag and drop feature coupled with flexbox capabilities are Draftbit's biggest strength when it comes to building UI. The builder is blazing fast, and the platform offers many options to preview your mobile app. The changes are applied in real-time so it speeds up any UI building workflow.

Cons

Currently, there's a small feature set compared to established players in the market. Also, the progressive web app (PWA) solution doesn't support custom domain yet.

Cons
