Zoobook has been good about adapting the program to fit what we need. They were the only software willing to make changes for our unique practice. I will recommend Zoobook EHR to anyone who is in need of utilizing an electronic health record application. Pros I am very pleased with the excellent client/customer support. Zoobook is a robust EMR an is a wonderful value for the cost. Cons While I see the value in the pop up reminders upon logging into Zoobook, I sometimes find them being a little annoying. June 22, 2025 5.0 For customers, it made compliance cleaner and reimbursements faster. For us less support tickets came in as their workflows were finally synced between clinical and billing teams. Pros We were able to recently on-board a health care partner to Zoobook EHR, and billing-wise, it was cake easy. It manages insurance claims, authorizations and service documentation all in one. Cons It's not as easy to customize it for non-behavioral health settings, and reporting should be a bit more flexible when dealing with multiple facilities or billing departments. Other EHR systems will include drop-down menus that help speed up the note-writing process. The fact that they also provide recordings of each training is a plus. Sometimes you can be so swamped with work and projects you might forget something pivotal that you learned during your training session and having the recordings is such a life saver. Pros Multiple services in one central software system without having to implement others to do different things - it's a one stop shop program. Cons I think there should be some improved to form builder. Utilizing a plugin if that is even possible to make the form more user friendly and designer friendly would be great. The best example for this would be something similar to how Wordpress uses Beaver or Element to make creating pages easier. I don't think there's another company with the same level of Support Team or customized system. My team also likes the system, especially for its customization feature. The best thing they did in 2023 was hiring \[sensitive content hidden\] as the manager for the support team. The team was ineffective until he came on board. I love Zoobook. Pros I like their new process. Before, they used to dismiss concerns when I reported an issue, but now they investigate and fix the issues. And I appreciate \[sensitive content hidden\]; they should have hired him a long time ago. I have never called him without him being aware of what is happening. He's very professional. Cons I find their debates frustrating, but in a way, they're kind of fun and I somewhat enjoy them. Also, if you need help, it doesn't matter which position in the company you reach out to; they will always help you. Their billing system is awesome and very extensive, covering everything you might need. Their customer support team is the best support team I have ever dealt with. Pros I had an issue about how to change insurance carriers on previously billed charges. I received an answer in surprisingly quick fashion, and they even included a video to show me how to make the needed changes. Zoobook is generally very good at getting back to their clients in a timely fashion, even providing weekly updates when a needed change will take time to implement. Their support team is AWESOME! Cons It's a very large system with lots of features and might be hard to grasp all at once. You need to learn and consistently ask their support to learn more. But once you understand it, you will find it very easy to use and extremely helpful. Reason for choosing Zoobook EHR There's a very big chance to transition from an expensive system to a cheaper one and gain more benefits and features while saving money.
