Although you can do that on many different platforms for a fraction of the cost. Cons Extremely disappointed — overpriced, broken promises, and a contract trap. I regret signing up with Boomerang FX. The pricing is far higher than what’s actually delivered, and several promises made during the sales process turned out to be false. Specifically, I was told that outgoing text messages to my patients would show my business phone number. This was never possible on their system — a fact they would have known when they told me. The bigger issue is their contract renewal practice. I was locked into a 12-mont term, which I understood going in. But when I repeatedly told their staff — every time we spoke — that I wanted to end service at the 12-month mark, no one ever told me I needed to submit that request in writing 90 days in advance. Instead, my service auto-renewed without my consent, and I was then told I was bound by a written-notice clause that was never disclosed to me verbally, despite multiple conversations where my intent to cancel was crystal clear. When I asked to see the specific contract language, no one would provide it to me. If you’re considering Boomerang FX, ask direct, specific questions about cancellation requirements in writing before you sign anything, and get everything confirmed in writing yourself — because verbal assurances from their staff do not match what they’ll later hold you to. Unless you have $48,000 to throw away in a 12 month period I would not use them. There are many other things too, but I don't want to make this too long. Please beware! They also shut down the ability to make Google reviews because their Google reviews were so bad. That should tell you a lot right there. They talked a big game, but once we signed up, it became clear that this company is a complete disaster. They are unresponsive, unorganized, and full of empty promises. Despite complaining multiple times, they reassured us they would follow through—only for things to get worse. With constant staff changes, canceled training appointments, and excuses, it's been three months, and we still don't have the software we paid for! To make matters worse, they charged us before the 30-day mark, even though we had already decided to terminate the contract. Without our permission, they withdrew the full amount from our Visa, claiming they didn’t need our consent! We gave them multiple chances to make things right, but they are nothing short of scammers. Do yourself a favor—avoid Boomerang FX at all costs! Pros I do marketing and PR consultancy on the side, and one of my clients (an aesthetic clinic) introduced me to BoomerangFX, which they use for their loyalty program. It’s a pretty comprehensive platform and definitely needs proper training before you can fully grasp its features and what it can do for your business. For the CRM side, I’d say the software is pretty helpful in managing the database and get the right information for me to come up with a better loyalty program for my client. Cons It can be a bit overwhelming as the software is meant to do a lot of things. But nothing complicated once given the proper training to navigate its key features. Pros When I was in consulting, I used this to integrate into one of our client Med Spa Locations. The integration was simple and the office staff seemed to really like it. Mass adoption to any new software is always a challenge but we didn't run into many obstacles at all. Cons Cant really think of any at the moment. The value and functionality are there. Pros BoomerangFX was very easy to use and had all the management tool we needed for our MedSpa. The dashboard was very intuitive and had very in depth reporting abilities very much geared to our business. Cons None so far. I am waiting for an update that should be end of this summer that will cover some advanced scheduling ability. Our aesthetics department had been down for awhile and now will be up and running. Cons Hard to view entire weekly schedule in a time block fashion. Our practice uses Centricity Schedule for medical and Boomerang does not sync so we are stuck using two different scheduling programs, one for medical and one for aesthetics. Also, some of the input information is in Canada / Euro format instead of USA (i.e., mo/date/year for DOB) Would prefer just to enter a name for referral instead of so much detail and having to set them up in system, also.
