Their product addresses key gaps in real estate software and they are a receptive and responsive team. I have and will continue to recommend them to others. Pros The ability to generate applications and leases have been the largest initial value adds. Since then, I've used their vendors who have been fantastic. It's simplified what use to be several contact points into one portal. Cons There were initial challenges to collecting payment that are now corrected. I have two separate companies and I was unable to add two bank accounts. The team took that feedback and I now have the ability to link multiple bank accounts across properties. Property Owner Real Estate Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Property Manager/Investor from Central MN " April 15, 2020 4.0 Pros Zenlord Pro has become of useful tool in helping me stay organized while managing my properties. The ability to run online applications and collect rent online was the first function that I’ve used the most. I’m now slowly taking the time to upload existing tenant data and upload their lease info, it’s great to be able to have it all in one place. Tenants that I’ve switched over to ZLP have given me positive feedback overall. As I’m learning to use the software, anytime I’ve got questions, the guys at Zenlord Pro have been more than helpful and quick to respond. I’m looking forward to continue using ZLP and watch this company grow. Keep up the great work! Cons It’s not always the most mobile friendly (hard to scroll to the bottom of a page without flipping my phone sideways) but of course that goes away when using on a desktop or laptop. It is a somewhat newer software, so there are occasional glitches and things that aren’t super user friendly but I do notice that they're often making updates and improvements to the software. However, like I mentioned above, they have great customer service so any issues that come up get resolved fast! It's helped us find & screen great tenants, collect rent & handles accounting as well! 4 thumbs up. Pros Finally. If you just wanted a free accounting system for your rental property, along with an easy tool to automatically collect electronic payments from your renters, you'd be happy; but ZenLord seems to be doing way more than just that, so we're digging it. Pros I really liked how easy it was to get our renters setup for electronic payments. Not only that, but the electronic payment system is really handy because it has an immediate check system to make sure there's money in the person's account. The ACH system is easy to use, and free - nicer than a fee. The application process was smooth and we're really liking the little tenant marketing system that creates a nice link to send to prospects. It is simple, yet has all the features you'd expect, especially when you compare it to Cozy vs. Zenlord Pro, you'll see that the Zenlord pro option has this contractor system where you can send repairs to a couple repair folks, and they can easily bid on it - after bidding, we were able to share a percent of the cost. They are very eager to please and quick to respond which helps. Pros The ability to text individual tenants, units, or entire properties. The ability to charge utilities, pet fees, separately from rent and at different times in the month. Also, the options to use vendors within their network to take care of repairs/work orders that come up quickly and I can't always get to right away. Cons The software occasionally will have a glitch here or there, but gets resolved quickly by using the chat box. It made sure my tenants knew that we were watching payments and we would know before rent was due if they were good to clear the payment. Communication through the website/text platform is great Pros I like the feature where it gives you a balance update. So you know if your tenant is good for the rent. Maintenance platform is useful for scheduling repairs. Cons The UX design needs some work, but its something that can be changed easily. Still super easy to use... Reason for choosing ZenLord Pro It was a local company. COO Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Free and Easy Software" June 12, 2019 5.0 It has saved me time by having everything I need in one spot, and the customer service has been very quick whenever I had questions, so I've been loving it to date! Pros I've really loved having everything in one spot. I used to manage my properties with Cozy and would still use excel spreadsheets to track certain things, and thumbtack to find maintenance help. But with ZenLord Pro that's all in one stop for me, so it's been super convenient and saved me a lot of time. I also really like the marketing page and full background/credit report that they provide me. Very please so far! Cons No cons yet, my experience has been great over the last few months! I see a lot of potential in ZenLord Pro. If I have a question or concern, their support team is there to back me up. This is Extremely crucial in Property Management but more importantly in being a land lord. I like their entrepreneurial mindset... they are making constant adjustments to improve and make their system the next big thing! I highly recommend them!
