Centralized Services Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Not optimized for privacy focused users. Not compatible with browser. " May 6, 2026 1.0 I was extremely disappointed with the product. Not being able to ever use it, forced to use a "teams app" which I despise teams apps. No browser support, and it doesn't respect privacy / lots of tracking elements which is why I couldn't use it. I was happy when our company decided to move to a different product so I could finally participate with my coworkers. We shouldn't have to choose between privacy and sharing feedback/gratitude with our peers. You should remove your tracking capabilities and make it a GOOD "USER" experience. Pros I was never able to use it. It doesn't support browser or privacy sensitive users. I am therefore unable to provide an accurate level of feedback because I could never try it. Cons No browser support. I was never able to use the product while my co-workers did. It lowers morale knowing I had to choose between my own privacy and being able to share gratitude with my coworkers. I refuse to sacrifice my rights to privacy. Review Source Kevin S. Pros Super easy to implement, very intuitive. Our teams are giving each other a steady stream of rewards people can turn in for things they actually want! January 15, 2025 5.0 this was one of the first recognition software companies i used. ive no complaints, easy to set up easy to use. They offer top notch customer service, and treat you like real people should. Matter integrates well with all my other software and sites and apps i work with daily and can access from my phone, laptop, desktop or tablet making it a given. i did switch companies, after finding several offering same service for free, but Matter as i said was one of my first, and no complaints. Pros easy to use in recognizing peers, rewarding hard work, and cheap enough to afford. offers multiple features not found on other software platforms, very welcoming landing page, and customer support staff is always there for any issue big or small Cons you have to have a good bit of staff participate to see to be more effective. it does cost by the person when signing up for Matter, but isnt expensive unless you dont watch what your doing Review Source Amy H. No one is going to log into a separate system to look at a feed, and while a written shout out is nice... if there's no value attached other than "nice," no one cares. Matter is different. There is real value attached but at a flexible and low cost to the company. Their Feedback Fridays in Slack have motivated an awesome culture of thanking people publicly for their help, and as a manager, it gives me a quick way to thank a team member for going above and beyond. I've always hated this TYPE of system, but I love Matter. Pros Easy integration & customization within Slack, so easy to add to multiple channels to provide shoutouts across different teams, fosters a fantastic sense of community and gives a quick and easy way to appreciate team members going the extra mile. Pros I liked the ease of use(Kudos button is everywhere) and the prompts to remind you to Kudos. Always a little fun every Friday when we run it. Like the recap on Mondays as well. Cons Nothing really. Easy to use and intuative. Switched from [15Five](https://www.capterra.com/p/140437/15Five/) Cost and Slack integration, I believe. In addition to being able to recognize people for good work, you can also give points for birthdays for people to save up to get items they really want.
