December 15, 2024 1.0 terrible. why would i spend points on company swag? shouldn't my company be giving me this stuff so i can rep them? also, announcing you're changing the matter rewards AFTER you've already changed them helps absolutely no one. I really like the motivation behind it (receiving money/gift cards) and then also the bond that develops but unfortunately, it's the same people that use it weekly. Pros I love that it incentivizes our team to give "kudos" and show appreciation to others on the team for many reasons. It is a great way to develop camaraderie within our large team. Despite this, Matter was a useful tool for fostering collaboration and boosting morale. Pros I enjoyed using Kudos with my colleagues because it fostered a positive and collaborative work environment. Through this tool, I was able to recognize and appreciate my teammates' efforts and dedication instantly, which strengthened our relationships and boosted team morale. Cons I found it challenging that some team members didn’t engage with Kudos as much as I expected.
