This tool is very god for giving out peer to peer recognition, and also reminding you weekly to give recognition to those who deserve it.

Cons

Not too sure, there are a lot of features that we don't use.

Pros

I like this tool as it allows for gathering direct, easy and fast feedback.

Pros

I simply loved it. Simple and effective, allowed creating tailored questions easily. What I liked the most, is the fact that I could take my feedback "with me" when I switched jobs, as the tool was not bounded to a particular company, my profile was just for me. I believe the fact that every company I worked for had its own feedback tool, yet I still ended up using matter speaks a lot.

Cons

I didn't like that other people do not have a profile on Matter, I had to invite my colleagues and every time explain what matter is, as I was using the free version. I would love to work at a company that embedded the tool within its structures.

Pros

It helps a lot with promoting team participation, inclusion, and there are many features that we use from matter that help us in our day to day interactions. The survey and feedback are probably some of our most used and liked parts of Matter

Cons

Some features were not very intuitive when we introduced them, and initially caused some confusion and raised concerns at first, such as the award program.

The problem is employee engagment.

Pros

I really like how easy the software is to set up and the integration with Slack. Adding additional teammates to the workspace was a breeze and the platform is easy to understand, especially with the walkthroughs. I feel that the feedback on the platform for the employees is easy to post and isolate. Reports also help to see trends. The notifications of new activities are so quick too

Cons

I much of this platform and there are many fun and new features, however, I did not have an idea wall amongst employees or something that employees could use as a suggestion wall.

Pros

I absolutely love the social element to being able to review others (and request reviews from trusted peers/colleagues). I think that the service itself can really help with identifying where team member skillsets are in terms of developmental stage all the way through to advanced. I've received reviews from colleagues and peers and learned a lot about the steps I could take to level up in my career.

Cons

I think it is beautifully designed; no real cons other than just anticipating a bit more in terms of Matter's offerings but I say that knowing that they still bring a lot of value to me and my peers.

I was looking for something like this, because my team works remotely. Giving feedback, kudos and requesting feedback fits perfectly to create a better company culture, team engagement and overall positive energy.

Pros

Easy to set up and easy to use. On giving feedback the best part is that it's a multi select instead of making me type everything. It flows naturally.

Cons

As an admin I would like to be able to see all feedback given between members. I know it sounds controlling but there needs to be some moderation and overview of what's going on.

I use Matter to ask clients for direct feedback and use it to set goals and assess training needs. As a small business owner, it is ideal.

Pros

Matter offers a great way to access client feedback without a lot of stress or having to remind them. Once set up Matter takes care of contacting clients and lets you know when there is feedback to review.

Cons

There is nothing that I don't like, it's really helpful!

Pros

Easy of use, integration with Slack was so flawless and works like a charm. Team Wins, Feedback, etc. were icing to the cake which I was not expecting but quite easy to use and communicate.

Cons

Demo tour needs to be better. Infographics & videos should be self explanatory. Need to work on UI/UX in certain aspects to make things more easy for lower staff.

Pros

I love the commitment to creating a company culture of recognition, encouragement, and open communication. The app is more or less exclusively positive, making it really easy to give constant/recurring encouragement. Obviously there needs to be room for constructive feedback but to me this app isn't about feedback - it's about recognizing employees for their hard work and building a team that celebrates wins together.

Cons

It does seem like a team needs to use Slack pretty actively to take advantage of some features; my organization relies on a different platform for messaging and file sharing, so that is a bit disappointing. I hope more integrations are in the future of Matter!
