They weren’t just a software vendor - they were a true strategic partner. They helped us navigate challenges like inbox deliverability, offered creative solutions, and even extended additional credits to ensure we got full value from the platform. While we didn’t see a high volume of warm replies due to inbox issues, the outreach still led to meaningful discovery calls and conversations. Cons While our overall experience was very positive, the only challenge we faced was with email deliverability, which impacted the volume of warm responses. I had a stellar onboarding and got a lot of great advice and I find the tool very easy to use. Pros Sequences are smart and easy to use. My open rates and reply rates are much higher than before I started using this tool. Cons Prospecting tool. It's intuitive and well-designed, but it's too expensive for me to use as my primary tool. We have one technical issue outstanding regarding something to do with the DNS but getting flagged as spam just led \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] to say, get in touch with your provider and then we can restart the campaigns with that new email address. I deleted all campaigns and paused sending to be on the safe side. Pros Ease of use, relatively easy to set up including all the email things that non techies like me don't understand such as spf records. Cons I am now in the middle of sorting out getting a domain that I have been using for about 12 years out of spam purgatory. I specifically asked during set up if I should use a g-suite account and was told no need. I may be the only person on this planet currently grateful for COVID-19 as I am essentially shut down from email for 3 days while Godaddy tries to get my email address no longer flagged as a spammer by Microsoft. Pros I love that our SDR's can live within Growbots. They can scrape their leads, enroll them into cold sequences, track people who are warming up, enroll them on a personalized sequence, then bring them to a demo with personalized emails, phone calls and LI touches. So, excellent, all in 1 tool for outbound. Cons The only thing I'd like is to be able to see is: In the list view of contacts in a campaign, on the list, see how many times they opened and clicked instead of clicking into accounts. This way I can click a campaign, select the engaged leads, move them in a manual campaign. For now, taking a look at the engaged accounts is working though. Everything about it has added value to our sales efforts. Pros There are multiple things: #1 The customer service is outstanding- I feel like all the people who answer my questions are on my own team. They are swift to answer, or find out answers, make suggestions, follow up and they are warm human beings who interact with the best business manners I have ever experienced-every time. It usually just puts a smile on my face. Bravo!! #2 The value of having validated prospects to email is priceless. Being able to filter multiple ways to find the prospects I need to approach saves so much time and frustration-as a one woman show in these efforts, using Growbots has been a God send. #3 The integration and continued education of the system has been impressively easy to handle, with the guidance and direction of the Growbots team. There is still so much for me to explore, as the system is continually updated, but until I do that, I have a system that works and delivers resulting in terms of getting prospects attention and then getting appointments. I could see helping many B2B companies by offering Growbots as a service. But I would need an expert content person who could also analyze and tweak messaging based on analytics. The sales process was zero pressure, heavy on solution-based selling with very clear expectations on commitment and implementation. Onboarding was always available as needed and met with us several extra times to help us launch. Lastly, we even had a custom request that was needed and they were able to complete that in a short period of time. A terrific experience and highly recommended. Pros A big reason we selected Growbots was due to the dedicated coach you receive to put you on good habits when starting their system. They second large benefit was the sequencing of emails they offer. The other list provider we were looking at didn't have that functionality and was substantially more. Cons If I had to pick something it would be that they are pretty strict about wanting you to buildout, edit, and finalize your first entire campaign before getting started. This made the onboarding slightly longer than anticipated, but it turned out for the best as the results were better and we learned more. There was no problem whatsoever to import these leads into my company's CRM through .csv. Pros Growbots allows quickly finding thousands of leads from a database very similar to the LinkedIn's Sales Navigator. These leads are easily exportable to a .csv or .xls with many attributes. The validity of the leads generated by Growbots in my case ranged from 75% to 90% which is much higher than any previous manual lead generation work that I used. Cons Sometimes, when your search criteria are way too wide, the system finds it hard to bring out massive numbers of leads, which is logical and can't be considered a serious disadvantage to the system. Unlike other tools, you have the ability to generate new fresh prospects as needed, a functionality that is usually reserved for more expensive tools. Setting up templates and creating sequences is easy and fast, and navigating to what you need is easy with the built in filters. Perfect tool for growing small to medium businesses, and it's value priced. Cons Although a tremendous overall platform for the investment, there are a few kinks that need attention. The reporting and analytics are sufficient, but could be better. When transferring prospects from one campaign to the next, there is a limit of 100 at a time to avoid bogging down the platform which can become cumbersome. They also have some limitations when you need to remove prospects completely, for example if the prospect is geographically tied to only one product and you don't want them in your other campaigns. April 27, 2021 4.0 I'd say it has been reasonably good. I've also used Outreach which did feel a little "richer" in some ways, but it was also a longer learning curve. I'm not sure if I picked-up Growbots because it's easier to learn or because I had already learned Outreach. Either way, does the job, good value for the dollar, great support, and it has a little ways to go but it's almost there! Pros I love that upon launching a campaign, the table is set to make the prospect and company names 'natural.' It is easier to do than in spreadsheets, and when the company name is changed, it does it for all the prospects at once. Cons I can't click on an account and see all the prospects in it, or all the prospects from an account within a campaign. A built-in dialer would also be very helpful. A little confusion on what "qualified" meant. Didn't know that it would pause the prospects in the campaign. A "qualified" prospect could technically (by the definition of the word) be 'qualified' even before any contact is made.
