Reviewers appreciate the longevity and reliability of Ableton Live, noting that they have been using it for many years with consistent satisfaction. They value the strong community support that comes with the software, which helps them navigate any challenges and share insights. Users also commend the cross-platform compatibility, as it works seamlessly on both Mac and PC, enhancing their overall experience.
Users praise Ableton Live for its great sound quality, high-quality sample sounds, and astonishing audio effects, which significantly enhance their music production. However, some reviewers mention issues with the Warp Tool, which can sometimes introduce unwanted artifacts into the sound. Additionally, they note compatibility issues with certain audio interfaces and express frustration over the additional costs required to access more sounds compared to other software options.
Pros
Time stretching ability is most essential, effective and convenient in Ableton. Choosing of exporting Mp3 or Wave files makes is a great advantage in Ableton 10.
I like the huge Virtual Instruments in the Library of LIVE. Ableton have a good integration for the most Hardware on the Market.
I love the fact that we can run tracks and control them live. It is great that we can put together a set list and customize every little detail of what we want to hear.
Compared to other DAWs, digital audio workstations, Ableton has a cleaner and simpler looking layout. This simplicity helps producers to navigate through the software with much more ease.
Cons
So far I haven't had a lot of problems, the only thing I identified as a failure is that in the clip view, when I use the "beats" mode, there is no way to automate the transient envelope (0 to 100).
I can’t believe I was ever intimidated by it and thought Logic was really my only viable option.
Limited to 16 audio tracks. If you want to use Ableton's full potential prepare yourself to pay 650.
Also, compared to other DAWs, like Logic, Ableton seems to lack in their production tools. Its EQ, compressor, effects, etc. seem to lack compared to others.

"One of my favorite DAW's"
Overall: This is my to go DAW to experiment with many different sounds in real time. Also great tool for live performances,I am using it for years and it delivers the fastest sound processing experience in no time and minimal latency.2 work flows give the best overview of the song and option to try many different arrangements before recording the final one.
Pros: Very versatile software that offers many good quality internal tools, VST instruments included, as well as audio editing options.
Cons: The warping modes gets changed with every update making it tough for user especially if you already got used to the workflow. Same with the software interface. File manager gets worse and worse with each update. Now it is hard to find files that belong to the same project and if you export any loops to external drive Live won't find it and it appears as "file offline".
"Live is for Serious Musicians"
Overall: Totally fascinates me even after a few years how easy it is to make a track. Essentially it works in a way which makes composition much easier than other existing software programs.
Pros: Live provides 2 direct recording views including clip view and arrangement view. This suits those who prefer to multi-track conventionally or those who build up loop tracks.
Cons: Live is a very big piece of software and the learning curve is steep. However, as you get to learn shortcuts on the keyboard then managing this beast becomes much easier.
"Ableton Live - Review"
Pros: The Partnerships of Ableton with a lot of Companies that manufacture equipment related to music production
Cons: the fille of ASD are everywhere in my pc if you make it in one folder or in the temp that will be great and need a bypass to hear the song before and after effect in one click no need to close it one by one or need to make a groupe
"Ableton Live Review"
Overall: Overall a great DAW to use, can be polyvalent, specially in Live set, where Ableton Live shines the most. With the integration of MPE, it can be a really good value paired with Roli keyboard for example.
Pros: One of the most used DAW, a lot of documentation and videos to help Integration with home company hardware (Ableton Push) Has the ability to be used in Live sessions Really great workflow Session view
Cons: Can be CPU consuming VST integration can be hard sometimes A lot of good features block behind Suite version
"Ableton live review "
Pros: I love tracking in live I’ve been using it as an artist for over two years now. I’ve learned so much using live about mixing music
Cons: Personally I think live would be a big recommendation for EDM or hiphop music
